Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 28th August 2026 Written Update: Tripti Exposes Nandini’s Shocking Secret to Tulsi
Today’s episode of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi begins with Tulsi asking Tripti whether she can help her with the packing. Tripti immediately makes it clear that she has no intention of leaving. She warns Tulsi that she clearly does not understand the game she is playing and hints that her next move will be even more dangerous.
Tripti then asks Tulsi to look at her next target.
Tulsi follows her gaze and notices Nandini.
Confused by Tripti’s words, Tulsi asks Nandini whether Tripti has said anything to her. Nandini says that she has barely spoken to Tripti, leaving Tulsi even more curious about what Tripti could possibly be planning. Tulsi then asks Nandini to prepare khichdi and buttermilk for Didi Bhai.
Meanwhile, Karan refuses to accept money from Subhash. Subhash tells him to take it for the sake of their friendship, but Karan does not want money to complicate their relationship.
Sahil is equally uncomfortable with the situation. Subhash offers to help him as well, but Sahil insists that he will handle the matter himself and deal with Papa. Gautam, meanwhile, feels that the situation is becoming impossible to manage.
Subhash continues persuading Sahil and eventually convinces him to accept the money so that he can return it to Gautam. He reminds Sahil that difficult situations can happen to anyone and accepting help from a friend does not make someone weak.
Elsewhere, Samira tells Sid that she is going to miss him terribly.
Sid reminds her that their relationship has always managed to find a positive side, even in difficult circumstances. He points out that they managed to get engaged because of his planning, leaving Samira’s father with no other option.
Samira brings up Tulsi Dadi’s blessings, but Sid feels that some bitterness still remains because of his mother’s past.
Samira encourages him to stay positive. She then comes up with an idea to resolve the misunderstanding between their parents. She suggests that they exchange their houses so that the families can avoid the ongoing tension.
Just then, Tripti calls Sid.
Samira and Sid become emotional as they talk about how much they are going to miss each other.
Later, Tulsi gives a gift to Didi Bhai, who is impressed by the warmth of the Virani family. Subhash thanks Karan, while Didi Bhai gives shagun to Garima. Samira also takes blessings and receives shagun.
Subhash asks Sid to accompany Didi Bhai.
Tripti then says that she wants to bow her head at the temple before leaving. Subhash offers to accompany her, but Tripti chooses to go with Tulsi.
Once they are alone, Tulsi tells Tripti that she considers herself a true devotee of God.
She then asks Tripti to leave.
Tripti, however, refuses to back down. She warns Tulsi that very soon she may be the one desperately missing God’s help. She makes her intentions clear—she wants to defeat Tulsi and stop her from controlling the situation.
Tripti then begins narrating a story, but it quickly becomes clear that the story has a much deeper meaning.
She brings up the story of Parth and Vaishnavi and reminds Tulsi about a mother who killed her own son.
Tulsi immediately asks her to stop talking nonsense.
But Tripti drops a bombshell.
She tells Tulsi that Nandini was responsible for Parth’s death and had taken the blame upon herself.
Tulsi is left stunned.
The revelation shakes her badly. She becomes angry with Tripti, but Tripti knows exactly how valuable this information is. She uses Nandini’s secret to blackmail Tulsi and asks her to come with her.
Tulsi refuses.
She then pleads with Tripti not to reveal the truth.
Tripti makes it clear that she is not going to let Tulsi escape so easily. She gives her a choice—Tulsi must decide whether Tripti should leave or stay.
When Tulsi remains silent, Tripti decides that she will reveal the truth herself.
Meanwhile, Subhash tells Karan that he is happy to have stayed at his house. Didi Bhai then asks about Tripti.
Soon, Tripti returns.
Subhash asks where she has been, and Tripti announces that she has something important to say, particularly to Karan.
Didi Bhai asks her to speak.
Tripti carefully changes the direction of the conversation. She tells Didi Bhai that Tulsi is upset and wants everyone to stay back.
Since Tulsi has already stopped her from revealing Nandini’s secret, Tripti covers the situation by claiming that Tulsi sent her to request everyone to stay until Janmashtami and Raksha Bandhan.
Didi Bhai is delighted by the suggestion, especially because of her devotion to Lord Krishna. However, she points out that their bookings have already been made.
Subhash requests her to stay, and she eventually agrees to celebrate Janmashtami with the Gujarati family.
Karan asks Maharaj to take the guests’ luggage inside, while Tripti tells Sid to cancel their booking.
However, the sudden change in plans does not go unnoticed.
Karan starts wondering what Tulsi is actually planning and why she suddenly stopped Tripti from leaving.
Niyati and Damini also find the situation suspicious. Gautam senses that something is wrong as well.
Nandini tries to explain the situation by pointing out that Samira is going to marry into Tripti’s family. She suggests that perhaps Tripti’s family simply wants to stay back and celebrate the festivals together.
Gautam, however, is not convinced.
He tells Nandini that Maa’s behaviour does not seem normal.
Damini also starts wondering what could have happened between Tulsi and Tripti.
The family is left with several unanswered questions. Why did Tulsi suddenly stop Tripti from leaving? What exactly did Tripti say to Tulsi? And how much does Tulsi fear the truth about Nandini coming out?
Meanwhile, Nandini begins remembering the strange signs Tulsi had been giving her earlier.
The episode ends with the mystery surrounding Tulsi, Tripti and Nandini becoming deeper.

Review
This episode finally gives Tripti some serious ammunition. Until now, she has been threatening Tulsi with vague warnings, but the revelation about Nandini and Parth’s death changes the game completely.
Tulsi’s reaction says everything. She goes from confidently asking Tripti to leave to actually pleading with her not to reveal the truth. That is quite a reversal.
The interesting part is that Tripti does not immediately expose Nandini. Instead, she uses the secret as leverage and forces Tulsi into an uncomfortable position. Meanwhile, the rest of the family can sense that something is wrong without knowing exactly what happened.
And that makes the episode work.
The secret is no longer safely buried—it has been handed to someone who clearly has no intention of keeping quiet.
