Yeh Fitoor Tera 29th August 2026 Written Update: Soumya Exposes Roop, Anup Breaks All Ties With His Brother
Today’s episode of Yeh Fitoor Tera delivers a powerful emotional confrontation as Soumya finally reveals the horrifying truth about Roop. Anup is shattered after learning what happened to his daughter, while Roop continues denying the allegations. The episode also sees Anup withdraw the complaint against Jeet, but Roop refuses to leave the house, creating another major conflict.
The episode begins with Soumya courageously exposing Roop. She reveals the horrifying truth about his inappropriate behaviour towards her when she was a child. Krish is left stunned by her revelation, while Anup is completely shattered. Roop, however, refuses to accept the allegations and desperately tries to defend himself.
Soumya tells Roop that he has already destroyed her childhood and is now attempting to destroy Pihu’s childhood as well. Krish loses his temper and is about to attack Roop, but Roop immediately tries to shift the blame onto Jeet. He claims that Jeet has influenced Soumya and turned her against him.
Soumya calls Roop a devil and tells him that he should be ashamed of himself. Roop turns to Anup and desperately asks him to believe that Soumya is lying. When he loses control and tries to slap Soumya, Anup stops him.
Anup firmly tells Roop that Soumya never lies. His words finally give Soumya the courage to break down and hug her father. She admits that she always wanted to tell him the truth but was terrified that he would feel ashamed because of what had happened to her.
Soumya then tells Anup that Tauji assaulted her.
She further reveals that Roop had tried to behave similarly with Pihu, but Soumya intervened and stopped him. Roop became furious with her, and Jeet arrived in time to rescue her. Soumya tells Anup that she does not know what would have happened if Jeet had not been there.
Anup is overcome with rage and pushes Roop.
Madhu immediately asks Anup to control himself and tells him not to blame himself. However, Anup soon turns towards Madhu with another painful question. He realizes that she already knew about Roop’s actions and asks why she continued behaving normally even after learning the truth.
Madhu finally explains when she discovered what Roop had done. She reveals that she deliberately kept Soumya away from him because she was terrified of what could happen to her daughter. Soumya adds that her mother even made her leave her sangeet classes so that she could remain close to her and keep her safe.
Madhu admits that she was constantly afraid that if the truth came out, society would make their lives even more difficult. Her silence was not because she did not care about Soumya, but because fear and helplessness had taken control of her decisions.
Soumya defends her mother and praises her for always protecting and caring for her. She says that Jeet also gave her the courage to finally fight back. She then begs Anup not to hate Madhu because she does not deserve his anger. Soumya also requests him to make sure Jeet does not remain in jail.
Anup walks away heartbroken.
Roop continues calling after him and demands that he listen to his side of the story. But Anup finally refuses to recognize him as his brother anymore. He tells Roop that he has destroyed Soumya’s life and declares that he is breaking all ties with him forever.
Roop reacts angrily and orders Anup to leave the house, still maintaining that he has done nothing wrong.
Later, Anup finds a doll lying on the road. The simple sight leaves him emotional as he thinks about his own daughter and realizes how badly he failed to protect her. He breaks down and calls himself a failed father.
A little girl then arrives looking for her doll. Anup picks it up and returns it to her. When he sees the girl’s father standing beside her, he becomes emotional once again. He tells the man to always protect his daughter because daughters are precious.
Meanwhile, Ridhan meets Dadi and tells her that they should have known the truth much earlier. He also says that Jeet is innocent. Dadi asks him to keep faith in Mata Rani.
At the jail, Jeet is trying to sleep when he suddenly finds Anup standing before him. Jeet learns that Soumya has finally spoken the truth. Anup then informs the police that he has withdrawn the complaint against Jeet.
Jeet speaks about the struggles of being an Indian father. He explains that fathers often love their children deeply but fail to express their emotions properly. He advises Anup to go to Soumya and share her pain instead of remaining trapped in his own guilt. He warns him that if he keeps his emotions buried, he may realize the truth too late.
Anup returns home, while Soumya finally feels as though a huge burden has been lifted from her shoulders. She says that she can breathe freely again and thanks Jeet and Ridhan for giving her hope and courage. At the same time, she worries about her father and wonders how much pain he must be experiencing after learning everything.
Meanwhile, Krish begins throwing Roop’s clothes out of the house. Roop threatens him and warns that if Krish forces him out, he will end up begging on the streets.
Anup questions why Roop is still in the house.
Just then, Jeet enters, leaving everyone stunned. Soumya is particularly shocked and emotional to see him.
Anup once again orders Roop to leave. But Roop refuses to back down. He gives Anup an evil smile and reminds him that the house is legally in his name, meaning nobody can simply force him out.
Even after being exposed, Roop remains determined to stay in the house. His refusal sets up another intense confrontation between him and the family.

Review
This episode finally gives Soumya the moment she has been building towards: she speaks, and this time, Anup listens. The emotional confrontation between father and daughter is easily the strongest part, particularly when Anup realizes how badly he failed to protect her.
The Roop track, however, clearly isn’t finished yet. He has lost the family’s trust but still has one weapon — the house being in his name. So even after the truth explodes, the man is stubbornly refusing to pack his bags. Classic serial villain logic: morally evicted, legally still holding the keys.
