Udne Ki Aasha 31st August 2026 Written Update: Sayali Replaces Roshni in Laksh’s Shoot, Laksh Secretly Follows Her
The upcoming episode brings another major turn in the Deshmukh family drama as Sayali unexpectedly gets the opportunity that Roshni desperately wanted. Roshni’s attempt to play Laksh’s mother fails badly because of her exaggerated performance, while Sayali wins everyone over with her natural affection for Laksh. Meanwhile, Sayali and Pankhudi prepare to leave the Deshmukh house, but Laksh has a secret plan of his own.
Roshni Fails to Impress the Director
The episode begins with Roshni struggling to perform the role of Laksh’s mother. She tries hard to bring the required emotions into the scenes, but her performance becomes unnecessarily dramatic. Instead of looking natural, Roshni repeatedly overdoes her expressions and emotions.
The director soon loses patience with her performance. He feels that Roshni is unable to bring the warmth and natural connection needed for the character. His frustration reaches a point where he decides to cancel the project altogether.
Just then, Sachin arrives at the shooting location with Sayali. They realize that they are late and immediately apologize to the director.
However, their arrival changes the entire atmosphere.
The director notices Sayali and becomes interested in her. He feels that Sayali could be much more convincing as Laksh’s mother. Without wasting much time, he decides to give her the opportunity that Roshni was unable to handle.
Roshni is left stunned.
Her jealousy becomes obvious as she watches Sayali effortlessly take her place. What makes the situation even worse for Roshni is the natural chemistry between Sayali, Sachin and Laksh. The director immediately realizes that Sayali does not need to fake maternal emotions because her affection for Laksh comes naturally.
Sayali Wins Everyone’s Hearts
The director asks Sayali to imagine Laksh as her own son while performing the scene. Sayali follows his instructions and delivers the scene with genuine warmth.
At one point, the director even asks her to kiss Laksh as part of the sequence. Sayali does not hesitate and performs the scene with affection.
Her performance touches everyone present at the shoot.
Unlike Roshni, who was trying too hard to act like Laksh’s mother, Sayali manages to make the relationship look completely natural. The director appreciates her performance, while Sachin is also happy to see Sayali doing so well.
Roshni, meanwhile, can only watch helplessly as Sayali receives the appreciation she wanted for herself.
Her insecurity grows stronger as she realizes that Sayali has once again managed to win everyone’s trust without even trying.
Laksh Shows His Love for Arya and Pankhudi
Amid the shooting drama, Laksh continues to show his affectionate side. He decides to give gifts to Arya and Pankhudi, making it clear that he has become emotionally attached to them.

Everyone believes that Sachin and Sayali will soon leave the Deshmukh house. But Sachin has no immediate intention of moving out. He has some important work to complete and wants to stay back for the time being.

Renuka Gets Irritated With Sachin
Back at home, Renuka learns that Sachin is staying because he has some important work to finish. She immediately becomes irritated and starts questioning why he is still there.
Renuka appears ready to turn the matter into another confrontation, but Paresh steps in and asks her not to trouble Sachin unnecessarily.

Tejas Becomes Kanika’s Teacher
Meanwhile, another interesting track unfolds at Devika’s house.
Tejas arrives there to personally teach Kanika. Initially, Kanika’s childish behaviour frustrates him. She does not take her studies seriously, forcing Tejas to become strict with her.
He scolds Kanika and makes her understand that she needs to concentrate on her lessons.
Surprisingly, his strict approach works.
Kanika slowly becomes attentive and starts focusing on her studies. Devika is relieved to see the sudden change in her daughter.
Even Panditji is surprised to see how much Kanika has changed after getting Tejas as her teacher.
Later, Kanika and Devika serve Tejas a delicious meal. Seeing Tejas and Kanika together, Devika begins imagining a completely different possibility.
She starts wondering whether Tejas and Kanika could make a good couple.
Of course, Devika’s romantic imagination does not get much time to develop, but the scene adds a lighter moment to the otherwise tense episode.
Sayali and Pankhudi Finally Leave the Deshmukh House
Eventually, the time comes for Sayali and Pankhudi to leave the Deshmukh house.
Their departure becomes emotional.
Paresh and Renuka bid farewell to Sayali and Pankhudi, while Laksh finds it particularly difficult to hide his emotions. He has become deeply attached to Sayali and does not want to see her leave.
Sayali also prepares herself to move forward, believing that she is finally leaving the Deshmukh house behind.
But there is a surprise waiting.
Everyone assumes that Sayali and Pankhudi are heading towards Ganapati Phule and that Laksh will remain behind.
However, Laksh has other plans.
Laksh Secretly Follows Sayali
The episode ends with an intriguing twist as Laksh secretly decides to follow Sayali and Pankhudi.
Instead of saying goodbye and remaining at home, he hides himself in the back seat of their car.
Neither Sayali nor Pankhudi realizes that Laksh has quietly joined them.
