Vasudha serves the tea and snacks to them.
Lajwanti says Phool has prepared the snacks. The guests like it and praise Phool. Lajwanti asks Vasudha to go and bring Phool. Vasudha goes to Phool and says the guy is handsome and good-hearted. She asks Phool to come with her. Lajwanti tells the guests that they will give the haveli and all the property to Phool. The guy likes Phool. Someone knocks on the door. He asks the man to repay the loan. Phool’s dad worries. The guests get to know about the loan. Lajwanti tries to cover up in front of the guests.
Phool’s dad beats the loan recovery man and asks him to leave. The man runs to the guests and exposes the poor financial status of Phool’s parents. The groom and his parents get upset. They refuse to accept Phool. They leave. Vasudha looks on, worried. Phool cries. Lajwanti curses Chandrika in anger. She argues with her husband. She says they have no money. She asks Vasudha to leave, since she can’t give any salary to her. She calls Vasudha unlucky.
Vasudha 2nd September 2026 Written Update Review: Phool’s Broken Marriage Alliance Brings Vasudha Closer to Chandrika’s Past
The episode takes the Mundwa mystery in a more emotional direction by connecting Chandrika’s past to Phool’s family struggles. Vasudha, living there as Gauri, slowly earns Lajwanti’s trust and gets an opportunity to observe the family from within. This makes her investigation much more interesting because she is no longer simply looking for clues — she is witnessing the consequences of whatever happened between Chandrika and this family.
The strongest part is Vasudha’s interaction with Phool. She immediately notices that Phool has faced repeated disappointments in finding a suitable alliance. Her encouraging nature brings some warmth to an otherwise tense storyline, while her questions about Lajwanti’s constant anger toward Chandrika help reveal an important clue. Phool’s understanding of her family’s past is limited, but her words confirm that they once lived a comfortable life before a mysterious woman allegedly took everything away.
The marriage sequence works particularly well because it exposes the family’s financial troubles without Vasudha having to investigate them directly. Lajwanti desperately tries to maintain the family’s dignity in front of the prospective groom’s family, even claiming that the haveli and property will go to Phool. But the arrival of the loan recovery agent destroys that carefully constructed image.
Phool’s father’s reaction makes the situation even worse. His anger exposes the family’s desperation, and the groom’s family immediately backs out. It is heartbreaking for Phool, especially because she had started believing that this alliance might finally work. Lajwanti’s immediate decision to blame Chandrika once again shows how deeply resentment has consumed her.
Vasudha being called “unlucky” and asked to leave is a painful development, but it also raises an interesting question: will she actually leave, or will something happen that gives her another reason to remain connected to this family? She has already discovered that the family’s financial downfall is tied to their hatred for Chandrika, but she still doesn’t know what Chandrika supposedly did to them.
Sarika’s lighter track provides a welcome contrast. Her excitement over Chandrika’s new phone and gold ring is amusing, especially when she casually asks what great thing she actually did to deserve them. After the previous episode’s tension, this gives the family storyline a little breathing space.
