Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 4th September 2026 Written Update: Abhira Performs With Burning Eyes, While Myra’s Secret Comes Closer To Being Exposed
The latest episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai brings a dramatic turn during the Janmashtami celebrations as Abhira refuses to give up despite being in severe pain. While Armaan remains concerned about Kaveri and angry with Kabir, the competition takes an unexpected turn. Meanwhile, Krish and Tanya’s awkward reunion hints at unfinished emotions, and Abhira gets closer to discovering what Myra is hiding.
Abhira And Armaan Qualify For The Competition
The episode begins with Armaan questioning Kaveri about her sudden fainting. He also wants to know why Abhira had to arrive at the venue on a bicycle.
The host soon announces that Armaan and Abhira have qualified for the competition. Rakesh and Pratibha also make it through, along with Raghav and Nandani.
Raghav and Nandani are thrilled with their selection. Kaveri, meanwhile, decides not to reveal anything about Kabir because she does not want unnecessary chaos. She makes it clear that she has come for the religious celebrations and not for another family drama.
But peace never seems to last long around the Poddars.
Bhairavi Sees A Bad Omen
Bhairavi suddenly decides to check on God, but her slipper breaks. She becomes worried and takes it as a sign that something bad is about to happen.
Raghav tries to calm her down, but Bhairavi remains convinced that a storm is approaching.
At the same time, Kaveri prays that Abhira and Armaan win the competition so that she can perform the aarti. Bhairavi, however, continues to feel that someone is interfering with her prayers and decides she should leave.
Krish And Tanya Have An Awkward Reunion
Elsewhere, Krish and Tanya unexpectedly bump into each other.
Tanya asks Krish how he is doing. Krish tells her that he is happy and spends his free time meeting friends, travelling and partying. Tanya is relieved to hear that he has moved on and wishes him happiness.
Kajal, however, senses an opportunity. She asks Krish why he does not try to bring Tanya back into his life.
Krish makes his position clear. According to him, Tanya was the one who walked away from their relationship. Therefore, if she wants to return, she should be the one to take the first step.
Armaan Learns About Kabir
Armaan again questions Abhira about Kaveri’s fainting episode. Abhira finally tells him that Kabir was involved.
Armaan becomes angry with Kabir, but Abhira reminds him that Kabir also helped Kaveri when she needed assistance.
Soon, the host announces the second round of the competition.
Nandani suddenly loses the pin of her sari. Abhira immediately helps her fix it. But another mishap follows when a waiter loses his balance and dry colour powder spreads over Abhira and Nandani.
Both women are affected by the powder, and Armaan and Raghav rush to help them.

Armaan demands rose water to ease Abhira’s discomfort. Myra immediately decides to search for it inside the house.
Meanwhile, Bhairavi is looking for her medicine when she comes across a newspaper. She becomes emotional while remembering Rasbora and regrets that she could not save her.
Kabir notices that Bhairavi is hiding something and questions her. Bhairavi quickly comes up with an excuse.
Back at the competition venue, Abhira and Nandani are in considerable pain as their eyes continue burning. Armaan becomes increasingly worried and demands rose water.
The situation soon turns into another family argument.
Sanjay blames Samar for bringing the eye-irritating colour. Samar argues that he did not know the colour would cause such a reaction.
Sanjay points out that such accidents never happened during earlier celebrations. Samar reminds him that accidents can happen unexpectedly.
Madhav finally asks Sanjay to stop arguing. Samar then takes a sarcastic dig at the Poddars, saying they fight first and later pretend to be peaceful.
Myra Makes A Crucial Choice
Myra finally finds the rose water and sees Nandani suffering.
She decides to help Nandani first. However, when she asks for the bottle again, it slips from Raghav’s hand.
Abhira continues crying because of the pain.
The host decides that the competition should be cancelled because of the situation. But Abhira refuses to back out.
Despite her burning eyes, she declares that she will still perform.
