Yeh Fitoor Tera 4th September 2026 Written Update: Soumya Faces a New Marriage Proposal as Jeet and Ridhan Complicate Her Feelings
The 4th September 2026 episode of Yeh Fitoor Tera brings Soumya closer to an unexpected turning point in her life. While she is trying to focus on her dreams and move beyond the painful chapters of her past, her family suddenly receives a marriage proposal for her. At the same time, her growing equation with Jeet and Ridhan makes the situation even more complicated.
Soumya Opens Up About Her Dream Partner
The episode begins with Soumya telling Jeet that she wants a life partner who is like her father. She admires Anup and hopes that the person she marries will understand, support and respect her in the same way.
Jeet, however, refuses to take the emotional conversation seriously and ends up making fun of her father instead. Soumya gets irritated by his behavior and asks him to go to sleep. She has an early morning ahead because the family is preparing for the Janmashtami celebration.
The next morning, Soumya gets completely involved in the festivities. She begins creating a beautiful Rangoli and becomes so absorbed in her artwork that she barely notices a group of boys disturbing her.

Nilu then takes Ridhan along and reminds him that Soumya should understand that her son is no ordinary person. Ridhan, meanwhile, is already thinking about the condition his father has placed before him.
Sanjiv Gives Ridhan Permission With a Condition
Sanjiv questions Ridhan about his decision to start a girls’ hockey team in college. Ridhan explains why he wants to give the girls an opportunity to pursue the sport.
Sanjiv eventually agrees to allow the team, but he knows that Soumya has played a major role in influencing Ridhan.
He therefore places a condition before Ridhan.
Sanjiv tells him that he has to go out with Reva.
Ridhan is left in a difficult position. On one side, he wants to support Soumya and her hockey ambitions. On the other, he now has to deal with his father’s expectations.

Soumya Gets a Marriage Proposal
The bigger shock arrives when Madhu calls Soumya with some important news.
She tells her that a marriage proposal has come from a good family. Anup is extremely happy about it, and Madhu explains that the prospective groom works in a bank.
The boy and his family are also coming to meet Soumya.
Soumya says that she is happy because her father is happy, but the news clearly gives her plenty to think about.

Jeet Accidentally Ruins Soumya’s New Dupatta
While the family prepares for the guests, the episode adds some much-needed comedy through Jeet.
Anup starts making arrangements for the visitors while Uma and Madhu prepare snacks. Krish meets Soumya and teasingly asks what will happen to her boyfriend now that she is meeting another boy for marriage.

Soumya’s discussion about wanting a partner like her father gives an important insight into what she expects from love, while Ridhan’s support shows that he genuinely wants to see her succeed rather than remain trapped in her past.
The Jeet-Soumya Rangoli sequence is easily one of the sweeter moments of the episode. Their playful chemistry continues to stand out, especially when Soumya secretly records Jeet helping her.
The sudden marriage proposal, however, changes the mood completely. The precap makes the situation even more interesting because Sarthik appears to be accepted by both families, yet Soumya herself refuses to go ahead.
