Bigg Boss 20 7th September 2026 Written Update: Mahi Vijj Sparks Tensions as Qazi Becomes the First Task Dictator
Bigg Boss 20 7th September 2026 Written Update: The first full day inside the Bigg Boss 20 house proves that the contestants are already struggling to adjust to one another. Mahi Vijj’s commanding personality becomes a talking point, while Aman Gandhi makes it clear that he will help people when they request it but refuses to be ordered around. Arishfa Khan gets into arguments over being treated like a child, Qazi Touqeer clashes with both Arishfa and Yung DSA, and the first captaincy task gives the house its first taste of serious competition.
Mahi’s Commanding Style Gets Noticed
The morning begins with Arishfa asking Aman to stay by her side.
Aman agrees to help her but makes one thing clear: he will help when someone requests him, not when someone orders him.
Mahi soon tests that boundary.
She asks Aman to pick up her bag.
Aman tells her that she should request him.
Mahi is offended by his response but eventually says she will request him.
She later confronts Aman about the issue.
Aman explains that for him, it is simply about basic manners. If somebody requests him politely, he is happy to help, but he does not like being given orders.
The disagreement establishes one of the first personality clashes inside the house.
Meanwhile, Mary Kom jokingly tells the inmates that she had wanted a daughter but ended up having three sons.
Apparently, Bigg Boss has already given her a few more children to manage.
Aman and Love Clash Over a Water Bottle
Aman and Love Gill also have a brief disagreement over a water bottle.
Love tells Aman to make a request instead of giving instructions.
Later, Love discusses the matter with Arishfa Khan and says she is already getting an off vibe from Aman.
Aman, meanwhile, makes it clear that he does not tolerate people like Love.
The house has barely settled in, and the first-day irritation is already spreading.
The Kitchen Becomes the First Battlefield
Qazi asks Mary Kom whether she will prepare breakfast.
Mary immediately makes her position clear.
She is not a servant, and everyone is capable of cooking for themselves.
Qazi then asks her not to use too many eggs because there are only a limited number available.
Mary simply ignores him.
The cooking discussion continues when Mahi asks Love whether she can prepare tea.
Mahi tells her that she is a girl, implying that she should know how to make tea.
Isha Rikhi immediately questions the comment.
She asks Mahi, essentially, what that makes her.
The inmates discuss preparing Poha, while Mahi volunteers to cook.
She asks the others to handle the chopping.
Love sarcastically points out that if Mahi is cooking, someone can also give her the water, tea and sugar she needs.
Mahi tells Love not to try being over-smart.
The kitchen has officially become a negotiation table.
Aman Gandhi’s Personal Life Becomes a Topic
Later, Kanika Mann and Gullu discuss Aman Gandhi’s personal life.
Gullu mentions that Aman’s wife left him.
Kanika adds that Aman also has a child.
Gullu tries to reassure Aman and tells him to relax because everything will eventually be fine.
Aman realizes they were discussing him and asks them directly about it.
The conversation reminds everyone that the house is not just about personalities and games — contestants’ real lives are inevitably going to become part of the discussion.
Mahi and Arishfa Clash Over the Kitchen
Mahi tells Kanika that she made Arishfa stand in front of the gas while preparing tea.
Arishfa is unhappy with the way Mahi is behaving.
She tells Aman and Asif Khan that Mahi is being far too dictatorial.
Isha agrees.
She says Mahi has been trying to dictate things to everyone from the very beginning.
Isha even jokes that it is fortunate Mahi has not started asking them to clean her innerwear.
The comment sums up the house mood rather perfectly: the contestants have known each other for barely a day, and personal boundaries are already being tested.
Mary Kom Gives Gullu and Scout a Boxing Lesson
The atmosphere gets lighter when Mary Kom teaches Gullu and Scout boxing.
Scout impresses Mary with his skills.
Amrapali Dubey watches the scene and says she never imagined she would get to see Mary Kom exercising right in front of her.
Having an Olympic boxing legend in the house clearly has its advantages.
Mahi and Yung Start Predicting Love Angles
Yung DSA and Mahi begin speculating about possible romantic pairings inside the house.
They predict that Kanika and Gullu could develop a love angle.
Mahi initially denies the possibility.
Yung tells her to wait because the love story could have more potential.
Mahi later tells Kanika that they are busy making jodis.
Kanika turns the question around and asks Mahi whether she wants to make a jodi.
She asks Yung the same thing.
Yung refuses.
Kanika points out that Mahi is single too.
Mahi then declares that Rohed Khan is boyfriend material and praises him.
The matchmaking department has apparently opened before the nomination department.
Rhiti Tiwari Wants an Identity of Her Own
Rhiti Tiwari opens up about her biggest personal ambition.
She says people often recognize her primarily as Manoj Tiwari’s daughter.
While she respects her father, she wants to build an identity of her own in the global music industry.
She wants to step out of her father’s shadow and establish herself as an independent artist.
According to Rhiti, this is one of the reasons she chose to enter Bigg Boss.
Isha Wants to Be Known for Herself
Mahi later says that there are three divorcees in the house — herself, Isha and Mary.
She asks Isha why she decided to enter Bigg Boss.
Isha says she wants to build her own identity because many people do not really know her.
Mahi points out that Isha has been trending on Instagram for the past two months.
But Isha explains that she does not want her identity to be defined by being someone’s girlfriend or wife.
She wants people to recognize her for who she is.
That sentiment echoes Rhiti’s earlier statement about wanting to step out of her father’s shadow.
Bigg Boss Announces the First Twist
Later, Bigg Boss asks the contestants whether they slept well.
Mary Kom’s snoring becomes an immediate topic of discussion.
Bigg Boss then asks who would like to exchange their bed.
A few contestants raise their hands.
Instead of deciding immediately, Bigg Boss asks them to discuss the matter among themselves.
But the bigger twist is yet to come.
Bigg Boss reveals that Kanika has received the opportunity to snatch something from the contestant she dislikes.
Kanika chooses Qazi because she feels he does not listen and constantly pushes his own point of view.
As punishment, Qazi loses his chance to become the first captain of the house.
Qazi’s first-day experience is already getting complicated.
Mahi and Scout Clash Over Helping Her
Mahi asks Scout whether he can change her battery as well.
Scout questions why he should help her.
Mahi explains that she is preparing tea for everyone too.
She then tells Scout to leave and says she will change the battery herself.
The recurring theme of the day becomes clear: Mahi wants cooperation, while several contestants want her to stop giving instructions.
Uditi and Scout Get Into an Argument
Uditi Singh complains that someone has been splashing water onto the toilet seat.
Aman agrees with her complaint.
Scout makes fun of the situation.
Uditi does not appreciate it.
She tells Scout not to make fun of her when she is raising a genuine issue.
Scout argues back.
Meanwhile, Gullu and Kanika discuss Aman and joke about him being attracted to girls who smile at him.
They say he cracks dull jokes and still ends up doing everyone’s work.
Scout later tells Aman that people think he is quiet.
Aman gives them a warning.
He says he does not necessarily have control over his tongue and can tear a person apart if pushed too far.
The warning is loud enough for everyone to understand.
Arishfa and Qazi’s Argument Gets Bigger
Arishfa asks Qazi whether he deliberately sang a song after she left to target her.
Qazi denies it.
Arishfa tells him not to treat her like a child.
She says she respects him but does not appreciate being addressed as if she is immature.
Qazi explains that seeing Arishfa reminds him of his childhood.
Arishfa fires back.
She points out that Yung is even younger, so why does Qazi not remember his childhood whenever he looks at him?
She then asks Mahi not to order her around either.
She insists that she is not a child.
The disagreement continues.
Qazi accuses Yung of fueling the conflict between them.
Arishfa later tells Yung that Qazi has accused him of gaslighting her.
Yung confronts Qazi for bringing his name into the matter.
The argument becomes heated.
Both men warn each other not to use abusive language or drag their fathers into the fight.
Arishfa realizes that the disagreement has grown because of her and decides to intervene.
Mahi and Amrapali Discuss Arishfa
Mahi later tells Amrapali that Arishfa is young and gets offended when people call her a child.
Amrapali has a different perspective.
She points out that Yung is also young, but he does not behave like a child.
Therefore, nobody calls him one.
According to Amrapali, Arishfa’s own behaviour is encouraging people to see her that way.
That observation is likely to come back to haunt her.
Bigg Boss Introduces the First Captaincy Task
Bigg Boss later plays a birthday song for the contestants, but there is a twist attached to the celebration.
He talks about the significance of a landmark birthday and calls the contestants for their first task.
Yung is asked to wish Bigg Boss in his own style.
He delivers his wish impressively.
Bigg Boss then announces the captaincy task.
Qazi is appointed as the dictator of the task.
The rules are simple but unforgiving.
The contestants must wear pieces of a cake and work to reform the cake. The contestant who reaches the designated spot late will be eliminated from that round.
The final three contestants remaining will become contenders for captaincy.
Qazi Makes the First Eliminations
The first round begins.
Isha, Amrapali and Aman are eliminated.
The second round follows, and Qazi gets the power to decide who moves forward.
He eliminates Mahi, Rhiti and Love.
Mahi argues that someone had moved ahead during the task and claims that the decision was unfair.
Qazi refuses to change his decision.
Yung also questions the call, leading to an argument between him and Qazi.
The task ends with the first major taste of competitive tension inside the house.
And Qazi has already learned that being the person with power is a lot less peaceful than having an opinion from the sidelines.
Precap: Arishfa Faces Another Confrontation
The upcoming episode promises another heated clash.
Arishfa gets into an argument with Mahi and Amrapali.
She becomes upset after learning that the two women have been calling her a kid behind her back.
Arishfa feels insulted and confronts them directly.
With Mahi already being accused of dictating the house and Arishfa already frustrated about being treated like a child, this confrontation could turn into one of the first major fights of the season.
Episode Review
The first full day delivers exactly what Bigg Boss needs at this stage — personality clashes before the nominations and major strategy battles even begin.
Mahi quickly emerges as one of the most commanding personalities in the house. Her insistence on how things should be done is already irritating several contestants, while her comments about cooking and her interactions with Aman and Arishfa create multiple friction points.
Aman is also proving interesting because he is not necessarily refusing to help — he simply refuses to be ordered around. That distinction could become important as the house settles into its hierarchy.
The Qazi-Arishfa-Yung conflict is another storyline to watch. Qazi’s habit of giving his perspective, Arishfa’s sensitivity about being called a kid, and Yung’s willingness to challenge Qazi make this triangle particularly combustible.
The first captaincy task finally gives these personalities a reason to compete rather than merely argue.
Overall Rating: 4.5/5
