Vasudha 7th September 2026 Written Update: Madhu’s Death Deepens Chandrika’s Mundwa Mystery. Lajwanti tells Vasudha that Chandrika’s manager cheated Bhairav. Bhairav cries and says he won’t give his temple land at any cost. Vasudha asks Lajwanti if she is telling the truth.
Lajwanti says yes, Bhairav was determined to meet Chandrika and get the land back. She tells that Bhairav waited outside the factory till evening; he wanted to meet Chandrika and tell about the fraud. Vasudha asks if Chandrika met him. The flashback shows Bhairav asking Chandrika to return the land. Sanjay tells Chandrika that Bhairav is mentally unstable. Chandrika leaves. Lajwanti tells Vasudha that Chandrika didn’t listen to him; Bhairav returned home and didn’t tell the family about it; the baraat came home; Madhu came to the mandap for the wedding.
The flashback shows Madhu getting married. The groom’s dad stops the wedding. He tells Bhairav that he got the news. Bhairav has sold the land and got a huge amount, but he didn’t give anything to the groom. He demands 5 lakhs. Bhairav tells that they were cheated and didn’t get any money for the land. The groom’s dad refuses. The groom and his family leave. The guests also leave. Madhu cries. She goes to her room. She ends her life.
The family runs to her. They lose Madhu forever. Lajwanti tells that Bhairav went to the Chauhan factory and sat in protest, hoping that Chandrika would do justice and return the land to him. She says nobody felt pity for Bhairav; Bhairav stood there for many days, and Chandrika didn’t pay any heed. She says one day, the Kuldevta tree was cut down on Chandrika’s orders.
The flashback shows Bhairav breaking down upon seeing the tree cut down. He feels helpless. He says Chandrika has ruined him. He gets a kerosene bottle. He ends his life by igniting the fire. He curses Chandrika and wants her to pay for the injustice. Bhairav’s wife, Tejan, curses Chandrika. Lajwanti says they brought Tejan home, but she got numb; she locked herself in a room. Birju cries and says he will kill Chandrika when she comes to Mundwa. The flashback ends. Birju says they will try to ruin Chandrika. Vasudha cries.
Phool feels sorry for them. Vasudha says she is sad about what happened, but she feels Chandrika didn’t do anything wrong; someone else used her name and betrayed Bhairav. Guru ji comes there and blesses her. He tells that he knows her dilemma. Chandrika tells Dev that she is worried about Vasudha. Dev asks her not to think too much. She leaves. He worries about Vasudha. Vasudha tells Guru ji that she has many questions and doesn’t know what to do. He tells that it’s her fate and she must solve this mystery. He asks her if she can do it. She tells that she will fight fate for the family’s sake. She asks him to guide her. Dev calls Vasudha. Vasudha’s phone is in the kitchen. Lajwanti goes to pick up the call. She gets Chandrika and Vasudha’s photograph. She is shocked.

This episode delivers the most emotionally devastating chapter of the Mundwa mystery so far. The Bhairav Singh flashback finally reveals the scale of the tragedy that shaped Birju and Lajwanti’s hatred, and the story becomes much more than a simple conflict between two families.
The most effective aspect is Bhairav’s helplessness. He genuinely believes that Chandrika will listen to him and correct the injustice, only to be dismissed after Sanjay manipulates the situation. His repeated attempts to reclaim the land make his eventual breakdown feel tragically earned rather than sudden. The revelation that Sanjay claims he acted on Chandrika’s instructions also keeps an important question alive: did Chandrika actually order the fraud, or did Sanjay misuse her name?
Madhu’s tragedy adds another painful layer. Her wedding collapsing after the groom’s family learns about the supposed land sale shows how the deception destroys the family socially as well as financially. Her death becomes the moment that permanently changes Bhairav’s family and explains why their anger toward the Chauhans runs so deep.
Bhairav’s protest outside the Chauhan factory is equally powerful. He waits for Chandrika to deliver justice, but when even that hope disappears and the Kuldevta tree is cut down, his despair reaches its breaking point. His final curse establishes the emotional foundation for the revenge that continues in the present.
Yet the episode smartly avoids making Vasudha immediately turn against Chandrika. Her belief that someone else used Chandrika’s name is what makes the mystery compelling. She acknowledges the family’s suffering but refuses to accept that Chandrika deliberately caused it. This gives Vasudha a difficult moral position: she wants justice for Birju’s family while also believing in Chandrika’s innocence.
Guru Ji’s conversation with Vasudha works well as an emotional anchor. Rather than giving her an easy answer, he reminds her that she has been brought into this situation to solve the mystery herself. Vasudha choosing to fight fate for the sake of the family shows how deeply she has committed herself to this mission.
The episode also keeps Chandrika’s anxiety running in parallel. Her repeated fear of bad omens reflects how strongly the Mundwa past continues to haunt her, even though she still refuses to tell Dev everything. The spilled milk and the earlier puja incident reinforce the feeling that the truth is closing in.
And then comes the excellent cliffhanger: Lajwanti answers Dev’s call, finds the photograph of Chandrika and Vasudha, and is left shocked.
This is potentially explosive. Lajwanti has been treating Gauri as someone sympathetic to her family, completely unaware that she is actually Vasudha — Chandrika’s daughter-in-law. Now her discovery could completely change the dynamics inside the house.
The episode succeeds because it gives the revenge track genuine emotional weight while preserving the central mystery. Bhairav’s family clearly suffered terribly, but Vasudha still believes the complete truth has not yet been revealed.
