Anupama 8th September 2026 Written Update: Anupama’s Decision Stuns Paritosh
The episode takes a dramatic turn as Anupama’s dream of building her own house creates a major clash within the Shah family. Hasmuk secretly decides to mortgage the Shah house to help Anupama, but Leela strongly objects to the decision.
While Anupama refuses to compromise Leela’s security for her dream, Pakhi and Paritosh use the situation to manipulate Leela. Meanwhile, Vasundhara tries to separate Rahi from Anupama, and a shocking revelation about Mantu’s business leaves Anupama suspicious of Paritosh.
Leela Opposes Hasmuk’s Decision
The episode begins with Anupama questioning Hasmuk about what he has done.
Before Hasmuk can properly explain himself, Leela demands an answer. She angrily asks whether he expects her to live under a tent outside the house at this age.
Leela fears for her future. She questions Hasmuk about mortgaging the Shah house without informing her. She reminds him that the house belongs to both of them, so he cannot make such a major decision alone.
Pakhi and Paritosh immediately support Leela.
Hasmuk asks Leela to calm down and explains that he is not actually selling the house. He only wants to mortgage it so that he can help Anupama fulfil her dream.
Leela remains unconvinced.
She reminds Hasmuk that he had already given away the café and she had stayed quiet about it. But she refuses to accept the idea of putting their house at risk for Anupama.
Leela questions why Anupama is in such a hurry to build her house. If Anupama wants to fulfil her dream, Leela asks, why should she have to leave behind the house that she already has?
She also worries about what will happen if Anupama cannot repay the loan.
Anupama Refuses to Take the Shah House’s Help
Kinjal points out that Anupama herself was unaware of Hasmuk’s decision.
But Leela remains angry and asks Anupama how her dream can become bigger than Leela’s own security.
Paritosh tells Kinjal to stop taking Anupama’s side, while Rahi openly supports Anupama.
Leela then accuses Anupama of following a pattern. According to her, Anupama starts a new journey, dreams of something new and then expects everyone around her to suffer for that dream.
The argument becomes emotional.
Leela announces that if Hasmuk mortgages the Shah house, she will stop eating and drinking.

Pakhi and Paritosh Manipulate Leela
Leela remains furious and asks Pakhi and Paritosh to stop talking because she is too overwhelmed to think clearly.
But the two use the opportunity to influence her.
Paritosh reminds Leela that Hasmuk had already tried to mortgage the house. Pakhi and Paritosh then suggest that Leela should think about securing the property for the future.
They encourage her to get the house registered either in her own name or in their names.
Their suggestion clearly has a selfish motive, but Leela is too upset to see the larger picture.
Banku Encourages Anupama
Meanwhile, Banku meets Anupama and tells her that his studies are going well.
Anupama feels happy for him, but Banku reminds her that she should also be happy for herself.
Anupama says she is not sad. She is simply thinking about how she will arrange the money required for her dream.
Just then, the manager calls Anupama and asks her to arrange the money quickly.
Anupama assures him that she will manage it.
Banku wishes her good luck.
Anupama now knows that she has to find her own way to fund the house without depending on the Shah family.
Rahi and Prem Plan to Grow Anuj’s Café
On another side, Rahi and Prem discuss how they can make Anuj’s café successful.
Rahi suggests collaborating with a major brand so that the café can attract more customers and generate better profits.
Prem agrees with her idea.
Rahi asks Prem to focus on the menu and leave the remaining business arrangements to her.
However, Gautam notices Rahi’s involvement and immediately uses it to provoke Vasundhara.
He tells Vasundhara that Rahi is taking control of the café and showing her authority there.
Vasundhara becomes furious.
She demands to speak to Rahi and wants to stop her from going to the café.
The conflict between Vasundhara and Rahi is therefore far from over.
Mantu Gives Anupama a Shocking Clue
Later, Mantu arrives to meet Anupama.
Seeing him reminds Anupama of the goodies that Paritosh had previously brought home, claiming that they were made by Mantu.
Anupama welcomes Mantu and asks whether he has come to meet Paritosh.
Mantu explains that he visits the café.
Anupama congratulates him on starting a new goodies business and casually asks him about the snacks, particularly the excessive amount of chilli in them.
Mantu is confused.
He reveals that he actually does sari business with his father and does not know how to prepare snacks. In fact, he jokes that he does not even know how to make tea.
Anupama is stunned.
Her mind immediately goes back to the goodies that Paritosh had attributed to Mantu.
If Mantu did not make them, then who did?
And why did Paritosh lie about their source?
The revelation suddenly puts Paritosh under a cloud of suspicion.

Anupama says she will deal with Gautam later.
She then decides to take Paritosh to the police station.
Paritosh is left shocked by Anupama’s decision.
Episode Review
This episode delivers a strong emotional conflict around Anupama’s house dream. The best part is that Anupama does not allow her dream to become a burden on Leela. Instead of defending Hasmuk’s decision, she tears up the papers and chooses to build her future independently.
The Mantu revelation adds a completely different shade to the episode. What initially appears to be a harmless business detail suddenly exposes a possible lie involving Paritosh.
The precap promises an even more explosive confrontation, with Anupama ready to take Paritosh to the police station. The question is no longer just what Paritosh has done, but how far he is willing to go for money.
