Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 9th September 2026 Written Update: Tanya’s Second Marriage Shocks the Poddars as Myra’s Crush on Kabir Deepens
The episode begins with Kabir wondering what he will say if Myra calls him. Myra then asks him for DP’s number, but Kabir says he does not know it and asks her to let him sleep.
Myra refuses to give up.
She asks Kabir to wait and requests him to click her pictures for DP. Kabir eventually agrees to give her some time.
Myra becomes nervous while speaking to him and starts fumbling over her words. She then thinks of taking a holiday so that she can impress Kabir.
Her growing crush is becoming harder for her to hide.
Krish Faces Pressure Over Tanya
Meanwhile, Manisha tells Abhira that Kajal has been unusually quiet since returning from the restaurant.
Abhira asks Krish to speak to his mother.
Krish tries to help by suggesting that Kajal accompany him to Dubai to stay with Aryan and Disha.
At the same time, Manisha questions Manoj about why he brought her ring so late. Manoj explains that the jewellers were busy preparing a ring for Samar Damani’s engagement.
He then reveals that Samar is planning a second marriage.
Kajal immediately points out that everyone seems to be moving forward with their lives while Krish remains stuck.
Abhira Learns About Tanya and Samar
Abhira connects the clues and realizes that Tanya and Samar are planning to marry.
Armaan also spots Tanya and Samar and tries to inform Abhira.
Abhira directly confronts Tanya and asks whether she is going to marry Samar.
Tanya is about to answer, but Bhairavi and Nandani interrupt the conversation.
They question Tanya about the real reason behind Samar’s decision to marry her.

To his surprise, Myra agrees immediately.
Kabir notices the unusual change in her behaviour and asks why she is suddenly agreeing without arguing.
Myra cleverly explains that since he clicked her pictures, she is simply returning the favour.
Kabir asks her to get ready because he will pick her up after office.
Myra then reveals that she has an entrance exam.
Kabir suggests a college for her — the same college where Abhira studied.
Myra becomes excited by his suggestion.
For her, the college recommendation means much more than just career advice.
Precap: Myra Misses Her Entrance Exam
The precap brings trouble for Myra.
Armaan tells Abhira not to worry about her. He reminds her that Myra is growing up, becoming responsible and learning to make her own decisions.
Meanwhile, Myra meets Kabir.

Episode Review
This episode moves Tanya’s remarriage track into more serious territory. What initially appears to be a simple decision to move on becomes complicated when Tanya learns that Samar’s motives are connected to Barkha’s custody and that the Damanis want her to cut ties with the Poddars.
Abhira and Armaan’s warning about Samar’s anger issues adds another layer of concern, although Tanya remains emotionally convinced that Samar understands her pain.
Krish’s sudden decision to marry is also revealing. Abhira immediately recognizes that his reaction is driven by Tanya rather than a genuine desire to settle down.
The lighter but increasingly interesting track belongs to Myra and Kabir. Myra is clearly developing feelings for him, and her eagerness to spend time with him is becoming obvious.
The precap could turn this crush into a real problem, though. Missing an entrance exam because she went to meet Kabir would give Armaan and Abhira a very different reason to worry about her choices.
