Sairaab 18th September 2026 Written Update: Nayanika Plans Her Own Clinic, While Family Conflicts Intensify Over Gablu’s Future

The episode of Sairaab begins with Nayanika discussing her professional plans with Ujjaini. She reveals that Ishaan wants her to open her own clinic, and she has decided to gain experience by working at another hospital before starting her private practice. Ujjaini appreciates the idea and encourages her to move forward.

Ishaan then tells Nayanika that he will arrange everything and set up her clinic within a month. However, Nayanika refuses to accept his financial support. She does not want him to spend his money on her professional ambitions.

Ishaan reminds her that they are married now and tells her not to separate their finances. He says, “Don’t separate our money, as I’m your husband now.” His words reflect his desire to support Nayanika not just emotionally but also as her partner.

Ujjaini and Shisho also encourage Nayanika to begin her private practice with Ishaan’s assistance. They explain that there is nothing wrong with accepting help from someone who genuinely wants to see her succeed. Nayanika remains hesitant, but their support makes her consider the possibility.

Meanwhile, tensions rise within the family when Indrani announces that she wants to cut all ties with Nayanika. Jaya immediately opposes the decision and warns that Indrani’s actions could create a serious divide in the family.

Indrani refuses to compromise on her principles. She confronts Jaya and accuses her of supporting Nayanika for selfish reasons. Indrani says that Jaya is only taking Nayanika’s side because she wants to rebuild her relationship with her daughter, who married against the family’s wishes.

She tells Jaya, “You’re supporting Nayanika because you want to get back with your daughter, who got married against our wishes. That’s why you’re supporting Nayanika.”

Jaya does not remain silent. She firmly responds that no one can stop her from reconciling with her daughter. She adds that, if necessary, she will even approach Radha Kaku to discuss dividing the family property.

Her statement shocks Indrani, who questions why Jaya is bringing the property into the discussion. The disagreement quickly turns into a larger argument about family relationships, loyalty, and long-standing resentment.

Jaya and Indrani Clash Over Their Daughters

Indrani later questions Jaya about her harsh words. Jaya responds that Indrani pushed her into speaking that way. She makes it clear that she would not have brought up the issue if Indrani had not provoked her.

At this point, Indrani’s husband intervenes. He reminds the family that his brother also has an equal right to their property. He further explains that they have only one daughter, who is currently living abroad. If they wish to reconnect with Rumi, they should have the freedom to do so.

Jaya explains that Rumi had already tried to reconcile with them, but they refused to meet her or her children. She questions how they can suddenly ask Rumi to return when they have made no effort to repair the relationship.

Her husband tells her that they need to take the first step if they genuinely want to rebuild their bond with their daughter. Jaya’s words reveal how much pain the family’s earlier rejection has caused.

Indrani then questions whether Jaya’s love for her daughter and grandchildren is really so strong. Jaya’s husband responds by drawing a comparison with Indrani’s relationship with Neil. He points out that Indrani loves Neil and has never spoken against him, while they also have the right to love and support their own child.

He says, “You love Neil, and you have never said anything against him. We love our child too.”

Indrani becomes frustrated and declares that she will no longer involve herself in their personal matters. Jaya delivers a sharp reply, saying that Indrani has already interfered enough and that it would be better if she stopped getting involved from now on.

The confrontation exposes the deep divisions within the family. What begins as an argument over Nayanika soon expands into questions about daughters, parental affection, property, and the family’s double standards.

Nayanika Decides to Prepare Breakfast for Everyone

Amid the ongoing tension, Nayanika announces that she will prepare breakfast for the family. Ujjaini and Ishaan ask her to allow the workers to handle the cooking instead.

Nayanika refuses to let the responsibility become a burden for just one person. She suggests that they involve everyone and work together. She says, “I will put them to work, and let’s all do it together.”

Her suggestion brings a lighter moment to the household. Ujjaini and Ishaan agree, and the family prepares to organise breakfast together.

Nayanika’s approach reflects her desire to build a sense of togetherness despite the conflicts surrounding her. However, the tensions in the house remain unresolved, particularly because Indrani continues to oppose her presence and influence.

Gablu Wants to Follow His Passion for Music

The next major conflict begins when Gablu tells his mother that he wants to stay at Ishaan and Nayanika’s house. He refuses to leave with his parents, making it clear that he wants to spend more time with Ishaan and pursue his interest in music.

Ishaan supports Gablu’s decision. He explains that Gablu wants to join his band and that the young man has genuine talent. Ishaan asks Gablu’s parents to allow him to explore his passion instead of forcing him to abandon it.

However, Radha strongly objects. She says that their family is educated and does not approve of Gablu joining a band. Her comments carry a clear sense of disapproval towards Ishaan’s lifestyle and career choices.

Nayanika immediately steps in. She asks Radha to stop insulting Ishaan in his own house. Nayanika refuses to allow Radha to disrespect her husband, especially while he is trying to help Gablu.

Gablu then requests Nayanika not to take his mother’s words seriously. He admits that he does not understand why Radha feels insecure about Nayanika. His statement further increases the tension between mother and son.

Gablu finally speaks openly about his own aspirations. He tells his mother that he wants the freedom to choose his career. He reminds her that he is now a major and is capable of making decisions about his future.

He explains that he intends to continue his studies while pursuing his passion for music. He also points out that Nayanika and Ishaan are supporting him, and he asks Radha to stop insulting them.

Gablu’s words show that he is not asking to abandon his education completely. Instead, he wants to balance his studies with his musical ambitions. However, Radha remains concerned about the path he is choosing.

Radha Questions Gablu’s Future

Ujjaini notices the tension and asks Radha Mami what has happened. Radha explains that Gablu wants to stay at Ishaan and Nayanika’s house and join their band.

She then questions what kind of future Gablu can expect if he gives up his studies. Radha compares his situation with that of Ishaan and Nayanika, pointing out that they were able to complete their medical education and become doctors.

Radha argues that Gablu does not have the same professional direction and worries that music could jeopardise his future. Her concerns are rooted in her belief that education and a stable career should take priority.

However, Gablu wants his family to understand that his passion does not automatically mean he intends to throw away his education. He believes that he should be allowed to make his own choices, especially now that he is an adult.

The episode ends with the disagreement still unresolved. Gablu wants the family’s support, while Radha remains worried about his future. At the same time, Nayanika continues to face Indrani’s opposition despite receiving encouragement from Ishaan and the others.

Precap

In the precap, Neil tells Nayanika that he is happy for her. Nayanika then receives Indrani’s acceptance, hinting that Indrani may finally be ready to acknowledge her.

Review

This episode balances Nayanika’s professional ambitions with the family’s unresolved emotional conflicts. Her decision to work at a hospital before opening her own clinic gives her career track a practical direction, while Ishaan’s willingness to support her highlights the strength of their relationship.

The argument between Indrani and Jaya brings old family wounds back into the spotlight. Their conflict is no longer simply about Nayanika—it is also about rejected daughters, grandchildren, and the unequal expectations placed on different members of the family.

Gablu’s storyline adds another relatable layer. His wish to pursue music while continuing his studies is reasonable, but Radha’s fear about his future reflects the common clash between parental expectations and a young adult’s ambitions. The upcoming acceptance from Indrani could bring a meaningful shift, although the family’s tensions are far from over.
