Tum Dena Saath Mera 18th September 2026 Written Update: Aparajita Faces Sudha’s Hatred, While Rakshit Supports Her
The episode of Tum Dena Saath Mera begins with Aparajita preparing poori sabji for her family as part of her first rasoi ritual. She happily informs Mohit that she has cooked the food, and he praises her cooking. He then asks her to pack some food for him, and Aparajita agrees.
Later, Rakshit calls Aparajita to ask how her first rasoi went. He wants to know whether everyone liked the food, and Aparajita lies that the family members enjoyed her cooking. Rakshit then asks her whether she has eaten dinner. Aparajita casually says that she forgot to eat.
Rakshit immediately asks her to have her dinner. When Aparajita checks the kitchen, she discovers that all the vessels are empty. The servant informs her that everyone has already eaten the food and praises her cooking. Aparajita is left without anything to eat, but she does not want Rakshit to worry.
When Rakshit calls her again, Aparajita pretends that she is serving food onto her plate. However, Rakshit quickly catches her lie. He tells her that she is a terrible liar and that he already knows there is nothing left for her to eat.
Aparajita feels embarrassed, but Rakshit does not make her feel worse. Instead, he orders a pizza for her. She thanks him when the food arrives and admits that she was extremely hungry. She then asks Rakshit what he will eat.
Rakshit smiles and shows her his tiffin box. Aparajita immediately recognises it and tells him that she had given the tiffin to Mohit. Rakshit reveals that it is actually his tiffin box. He explains that he could not possibly miss his wife’s first rasoi food.
The conversation turns sweet as the couple continues talking. Rakshit’s concern makes Aparajita feel cared for, especially after she has been ignored by the rest of the household. However, their moment does not go unnoticed.
Sudha observes Rakshit giving Aparajita so much attention. Sheela takes advantage of the situation and begins provoking Sudha. She complains that Rakshit is prioritising Aparajita instead of thinking about his mother. Sheela further suggests that Aparajita must have planned everything carefully to win Rakshit’s affection.
Sudha becomes furious after hearing Sheela’s words and walks away in anger. Meanwhile, Aparajita notices that Rakshit has fallen asleep during their conversation. She gently disconnects the call, allowing him to rest.
Sheela Insults Ramgopal During Pag Phera Invitation
Later, Ramgopal visits Arvind’s house to invite his daughters for the traditional pag phera ceremony. Sheela opens the door and pretends to welcome him warmly. However, her behaviour soon reveals that she has no genuine respect for him.
Sheela asks Ramgopal why he has come. He explains that he wants to take his daughters home for pag phera. Sheela sarcastically tells him that he can consider their house his own, just as his daughters do.
When Ramgopal is about to sit on the sofa, Sheela stops him. She lies that the servant has not cleaned the sofa and advises him to remain standing. Her deliberate humiliation leaves Aparajita deeply upset.
Aradhya greets her father, but she does not object to the way Sheela treats him. Aparajita, however, cannot tolerate the disrespect. She immediately cleans the sofa herself and asks Ramgopal to sit comfortably.
Aparajita then tells her father that her in-laws are worried about his safety. Sheela uses the opportunity to make another insulting remark. She asks where Ramgopal’s son is and sarcastically wonders whether he has eloped again. She even claims that eloping is a habit in his family.
Aparajita refuses to let the insult pass. She calmly responds that Rashmika is a good girl, which is why her brother eloped with her to marry her. Her answer leaves Sheela with little room to continue the argument.
Sudha then intervenes and tells Ramgopal that Sheela often speaks without thinking. She asks him not to take the words seriously and apologises on Sheela’s behalf. Arvind also apologises, and Ramgopal chooses to forgive them.
Afterwards, Ramgopal seeks Sudha’s permission to take his daughters home for pag phera. Sudha makes her position very clear. She says that she considers only Aradhya to be her daughter-in-law and does not care about Aparajita.
The statement deeply hurts Aparajita, but she remains composed. She reminds Ramgopal that Sudha was the one who selected her for Rakshit in the first place. According to Aparajita, Sudha will eventually remember that decision and understand her value.
The scene highlights the growing tension between Aparajita and Sudha. While Aparajita continues trying to maintain respect within the family, Sudha appears determined to keep her at a distance.
Aradhya’s Show-Off Turns Into Public Embarrassment
Later, Aradhya becomes disappointed when she sees that Ramgopal has arranged an auto for their journey home. She had clearly expected a more comfortable and impressive return. Aparajita tries to convince her to travel in the car, but the situation takes a different turn once they reach their colony.
As soon as Aradhya arrives, she begins showing off in front of the neighbours. She proudly talks about the expensive car and behaves as though she has returned with a grand display of wealth.
Rashmika asks Aparajita whether the car is the same one Rakshit gifted her during the muh dikhai ceremony. Aparajita confirms that it is. Aradhya continues enjoying the attention, but the neighbours soon begin making fun of her behaviour.
The situation becomes even more embarrassing when Aradhya accidentally steps on cow dung. The neighbours laugh at her, and the teasing quickly intensifies. Aparajita notices that Aradhya is becoming uncomfortable and sends her inside to prevent the situation from getting worse.
However, Aradhya does not forget the incident. Once inside the house, she complains to her parents about the lack of facilities. She acts as though she cannot possibly adjust to the surroundings and suggests that living there is beneath her expectations.
Malti mocks Aradhya for changing so dramatically overnight. She points out that Aradhya seems to have developed new expectations immediately after entering her in-laws’ home. The family members continue teasing her about her attitude.
Aparajita attempts to support Aradhya, but Aradhya is not ready to listen. Instead, she complains that Aparajita did not take a stand for her when the neighbours were mocking her.
Aradhya accuses her of pretending to be generous and selfless only when it suits her. She tells Aparajita that she does not need her to act like a mahan person now. Her words hurt Aparajita, who had only tried to protect her from further humiliation.
The argument escalates, and Aradhya closes the door in Aparajita’s face.
Aparajita is left standing outside, visibly hurt by Aradhya’s behaviour. Despite trying to help her, she receives nothing but anger and accusations in return.
Rakshit’s Surprise Brings a Moment of Comfort
The episode ends with Aparajita facing continued hostility from Sudha and emotional distance from Aradhya. She has been trying to fulfil her responsibilities as a wife and daughter-in-law, but the family’s treatment makes her struggle even more difficult.
The precap shows Sudha informing Aparajita that her car has gone to the repair shop. She tells her that there is no extra space for Aparajita in their car and questions how she will return home.
Aparajita hears a sound nearby, and Rakshit suddenly arrives to surprise her. Seeing him, she becomes emotional and hugs him tightly.
Review
This episode effectively shows the contrast between Aparajita’s lonely struggle inside her new family and Rakshit’s genuine concern for her. The first rasoi sequence is particularly touching because Aparajita cooks for everyone but ends up with nothing to eat herself. Thankfully, Rakshit notices her lie before she can hide her hunger completely.
Sheela’s treatment of Ramgopal is unnecessarily insulting, while Aradhya’s sudden change in attitude creates another emotional conflict. Her disappointment is understandable to an extent, but her decision to blame Aparajita for the neighbours’ teasing feels unfair.
The upcoming surprise from Rakshit should offer Aparajita some much-needed emotional support. After all the family drama, she deserves at least one person who notices when she is hurting.
