Sairaab 21st September 2026 Written Update: Nayanika Wins the Best Lyricist Award as Angana Finally Confronts Her Guilt

The latest episode of Sairaab brings a heartwarming celebration for Nayanika, who receives major recognition for her talent. As the family celebrates her achievement, Angana finally opens up about her past mistakes and shares an emotional moment with Nayanika and Rohan.

Ishaan Plans a Surprise for Nayanika

The episode begins with Ishaan preparing breakfast when he receives a call from Krish. Krish teases him for waking up so early, especially since he got married just a day ago.

Ishaan reveals that he is making breakfast and invites Krish and the others to join them. Krish then shares exciting news: Tripathi has informed him that Nayanika has won the Sound of India Best Lyricist Award 2026.

Ishaan is delighted but agrees to keep the news a secret. Krish suggests organising a grand celebration for Nayanika, and Ishaan happily supports the idea.

Soon, Ujjaini, Gabloo, Shishoo and Ishaan’s parents enter the hall. They notice Ishaan’s excitement and ask him what has happened. Ishaan tells everyone to get ready because he has planned a surprise.

When Nayanika arrives, Ishaan says that he has prepared breakfast for the family. He asks everyone to eat and get ready to go out. Nayanika questions him about their destination, but Ishaan refuses to reveal anything and simply smiles.

Nayanika Receives a Beautiful Surprise

The family soon notices a poster announcing Nayanika’s achievement. Ishaan carefully covers Nayanika’s eyes and takes her to the celebration venue.

When he finally reveals the surprise, Nayanika learns that she has won the prestigious Sound of India Best Lyricist Award. She becomes emotional and hugs Ishaan, thanking him for making the moment so special.

Shishoo tells Ujjaini that they know very little about their parents. He admits that he never realised how talented his mother was. Ujjaini agrees and sincerely apologises to Nayanika.

She confesses that she failed to recognise her mother’s talent and even stood in the way of her dreams. Nayanika responds lovingly, saying that Ujjaini is more special to her than her dreams.

The family then asks Nayanika to cut the cake. She celebrates the achievement alongside the Sairab team and Ishaan, while everyone enjoys the surprise party.

The Family Plans a Grand Celebration

Nayanika asks Ishaan whether he has booked a table at a restaurant. Krish confirms that a reservation has been made, but Ishaan reveals that he has booked the entire restaurant so that Nayanika can celebrate privately.

Nayanika disagrees with the idea. She explains that she is a doctor and enjoys interacting with people, so she does not need the entire restaurant reserved for her.

Ishaan insists that the evening is his gift to her. His parents, though, announce that they also want to host a celebration. The family’s excitement makes Nayanika’s achievement even more meaningful.

Krish then reveals that the news is spreading quickly and that media outlets want to interview Nayanika. Ujjaini asks him to arrange interviews so that people can learn about her mother’s strength and talent instead of judging or insulting her.

Krish receives a call from a major news channel. Since Ujjaini and Shishoo are leaving that day, Nayanika requests that the interview be scheduled for the following day. Krish communicates her decision to the reporter, and the interview is arranged.

Rohan Decides to Stay with Nayanika

Later, Rohan arrives with Angana and informs Nayanika that he has brought his luggage. He plans to stay with Nayanika while continuing his studies.

Nayanika asks Angana whether she is comfortable with Rohan’s decision. Angana responds that Rohan has already made up his mind and does not need her permission.

Ishaan then shares Nayanika’s award news with them. Angana initially reacts rudely, but the conversation soon takes a more emotional turn.

Angana admits that she wronged Nayanika and caused her pain. She wonders why Nayanika never confronted her about everything she had done. Angana begins speaking about her past and reveals the guilt she has been carrying.

Angana Opens Up About Her Guilt

Nayanika asks Angana to leave the past behind and focus on the happiness surrounding them. Angana acknowledges that Nayanika is a good person and believes that is why she is receiving so much happiness and recognition in her life.

However, Angana says that her own guilt continues to grow. She explains that she is leaving Rohan with Nayanika because she feels that she once took Nayanika’s husband away from her. She believes that perhaps she was punished when she was separated from her own son.

Angana apologises to Nayanika and admits that she could never become the person Nayanika was for Neil. She feels that she has lost and that Nayanika has won.

Her confession exposes the emotional burden she has been carrying for a long time. Instead of responding with anger, Nayanika listens calmly.

Rohan Helps His Mother Find Peace

Rohan tells Angana that she has not lost. According to him, she has actually achieved something important by accepting her mistakes. He tells her that he is proud of her.

His words touch Angana, and the two reconcile. They share an emotional hug, bringing a sense of healing to their relationship.

Nayanika then reassures Angana that Rohan is moving to Mumbai for his studies and that she considers him like her own son. She promises to look after him and tells Angana not to worry.

Ujjaini, Gabloo and the other cousins also assure Angana that they will soon shift there. Angana feels comforted by the family’s warmth and the affection they show towards Rohan.

Before leaving, Angana informs everyone that it is time for her flight to Kolkata. She asks Rohan to take care of himself, says goodbye to the family and leaves.

The episode ends on an emotional note, with Nayanika receiving recognition for her talent and Angana taking a step towards accepting her past.
