The Khalid-doctor confrontation also moves Nazima’s storyline forward. The report remains a crucial piece of evidence, and the confusion over who ordered the doctor to preserve it adds another mystery.
Tahir’s role is particularly unexpected. His decision to lock Seher and Mahid together is obviously motivated by his desire to repair their relationship, but putting two already-angry people in a locked room is certainly one way to create more drama.
And it works.
Seher’s comparison between Mahid and Haider hits a nerve, while Mahid’s reaction shows that her words affect him more than he wants to admit.
The bigger issue now is what happens when the family learns that Seher and Mahid were alone together behind a locked door.
