Yeh Fitoor Tera 23rd September 2026 Written Update: Jeet’s Birthday Hope Shattered as Soumya Learns His Pain
The episode begins with Jeet continuing the fun question game with the girls. Reva comes up with a tricky question, and Jeet soon realizes that Soumya has indirectly admitted to stalking someone on social media.
Naturally, Jeet becomes curious and asks who Soumya has been stalking.
Pakhi immediately jumps to a conclusion and assumes that Soumya must be stalking Ridhan. The guess leaves everyone amused, while Soumya is left in an awkward situation.
Reva then asks another question about one-sided love. Everyone gives their answers, but Soumya remains silent. Pakhi quickly uses her silence against her and declares that Soumya has lost the game.
As punishment, Pakhi challenges Soumya to dance with Ridhan.
Soumya Dances With Jeet
Krish has a different idea. He wants Soumya to dance with Jeet instead.
As the music starts, Ridhan tries to express his feelings for Soumya through his dance. He hopes that she will understand the emotions he is unable to say openly.
Soumya, though, completely misses the hidden message.
Reva also tries to create a moment between Soumya and Ridhan, but Soumya remains unaware of what Ridhan is trying to convey.
At the same time, Krish dances with Pakhi, and everyone enjoys the lively celebration.
Nitu secretly clicks a picture featuring Soumya, Ridhan and Jeet. She then removes Jeet from the picture, clearly indicating that she has another plan in mind.
Ridhan soon notices that Soumya is not entirely comfortable. He asks her to sit down and take a break. Reva also encourages her to rest.
Just then, Jeet steps forward and decides to dance with Soumya himself.
Soumya instantly becomes comfortable.
She enjoys dancing with Jeet and is particularly happy to see him smiling and having fun. For those few moments, she forgets everything else around her.
Jeet is also impressed by Soumya’s confidence and appreciates her spirit. Krish, Pakhi and her sister enjoy watching them, making the birthday celebration even more cheerful.
Soumya Wants Sanjiv to Wish Jeet
Later, Jeet returns home with Ridhan and Soumya.
Ridhan tells Soumya that she has successfully accomplished what she set out to do. Soumya, though, still wants to make Jeet’s birthday more special.
She expresses a wish that Sanjiv should also wish Jeet.
Elsewhere, Sanjiv questions Ridhan about where they have been. Ridhan sits down with him, seemingly preparing to tell him something.
At the same time, Krish asks Soumya why Jeet has still not cut his birthday cake.
Roop overhears their conversation and finally realizes that it is Jeet’s birthday.
Soumya then notices Jeet exercising alone on the terrace.
She decides to wish him secretly through a fake account so that Jeet will not know the message came from her.
Jeet receives the birthday wish.
Although he does not know who sent it, he somehow senses Soumya’s presence behind the message.
Then another message arrives.
This one appears to be from Sanjiv.
Jeet opens it and finds an apology and birthday wishes from his father.
The message immediately touches an emotional chord.
Deep down, Jeet still craves his father’s love and acceptance. Even though he has tried to convince himself that he can live without it, the simple birthday wish makes him believe that perhaps Sanjiv still cares about him.
Sanjiv Shatters Jeet’s Hope
Jeet immediately goes downstairs to meet Sanjiv.
He asks his father if he can wish him directly, face-to-face.
Sanjiv notices the message on Jeet’s phone and is stunned.
He firmly tells Jeet that he did not send the message.
Sanjiv makes it clear that he would never send such a message and tells Jeet to stop living under false expectations.
The revelation completely breaks Jeet.
For a brief moment, he had allowed himself to believe that his father might finally be ready to show him some affection. That tiny hope disappears almost instantly.
Soumya watches the painful exchange and feels terrible for Jeet.
She realizes that her attempt to make his birthday special has accidentally reopened a wound that had never really healed.
Jeet Confronts Soumya
Soumya soon learns from Ridhan that he was actually the one who sent the birthday message using Sanjiv’s phone.
She becomes upset when she realizes what has happened.
Soumya tells Ridhan that she saw Jeet completely broken after discovering the truth.
Just then, Jeet arrives on the terrace and confronts Soumya.
He understands that she was involved and questions her for interfering in such a personal matter.
Jeet tells Soumya that he was perfectly fine before she came into the picture.
He had already accepted that he would celebrate his birthday alone. He had buried his expectations and prepared himself for the reality that Sanjiv might never give him the affection he wanted.
Soumya’s actions changed that.
For a brief moment, she made Jeet believe that his father might still care about him.
And when that hope disappeared, the pain became even worse.
Jeet tells Soumya that she brought back a hope he had already buried, only to take it away again. He feels that she has not only disappointed him but has deeply hurt him.
He asks her to stay away from his personal matters from now on.
Soumya is left speechless.
She never intended to hurt Jeet. Her only intention was to make him happy on his birthday, but she now realizes that her attempt had the opposite effect.
She breaks down in tears and regrets what she has done.
Soumya Realizes Jeet Is Hurting Too
Later, Soumya tells Ridhan that Jeet is hurt because of her.
She points out that Jeet did not even scold her harshly, which somehow makes her feel even more guilty.
Soumya admits that she always believed Jeet was incredibly strong. Now she realizes that there is a broken side of him that he keeps hidden from everyone.
She says that Jeet can understand her pain and notice the things she tries to hide, but hardly anyone notices the pain he carries inside himself.
Ridhan understands what Soumya is trying to express.
He also knows that Jeet would never deliberately hurt Soumya.
The situation has affected everyone differently, but Soumya is now beginning to see Jeet in a completely different light.
Roop Makes Another Move
Elsewhere, Roop arrives at Anup’s clinic as he prepares to make another move.
The episode then shifts back to Jeet, who sits beside a bonfire, lost in his thoughts.
He is still struggling to process everything that has happened.
Ridhan approaches him and interrupts his solitude.
Jeet immediately asks him to leave him alone.
Ridhan, though, refuses to simply walk away. He questions Jeet about making Soumya cry and tells him that he cannot bear seeing tears in her eyes.
Jeet becomes angry.
He reminds Ridhan that he is not his brother and makes it clear that he does not want Ridhan interfering in his relationship with Soumya or questioning his actions.
The emotional tension between the two men rises further.
Jeet is still carrying the pain of his father’s rejection, while Ridhan is increasingly protective of Soumya.
The episode ends with Jeet battling his emotions and Soumya regretting that her attempt to make his birthday memorable ended up hurting him instead.

This episode starts on a playful note but takes a surprisingly emotional turn once Jeet’s birthday becomes the centre of the story. The dance sequence gives Soumya and Jeet some genuinely light moments, but the birthday message completely changes the mood.
Jeet’s reaction to Sanjiv’s fake birthday wish is the emotional heart of the episode. He does not need a grand gesture from his father; even a simple message is enough to make him hope that their relationship might finally change. Watching that hope disappear so quickly explains why he reacts so strongly toward Soumya.
Soumya’s realization is equally important. Until now, she has seen Jeet as someone who can handle anything. This episode finally shows her that beneath his confidence is someone carrying a deep emotional wound. Her regret feels genuine because she never wanted to exploit that weakness.
Ridhan’s involvement adds another layer to the tension. He is clearly protective of Soumya, but Jeet is in no mood to have anyone interfere after everything he has just experienced.
The birthday celebration started with dancing and laughter and ended with Jeet sitting alone by a bonfire. That emotional whiplash is very much in keeping with the show’s current track.
The precap suggests that Jeet will finally cut his birthday cake, but Anup angrily yelling at Soumya means the celebration is unlikely to remain peaceful for long.
