Bigg Boss 20 25th September 2026 Written Update: Gullu Becomes Captain Again as Qazi and Yung Clash
Day 19 Begins With Rejection Tags
The 19th day inside the Bigg Boss 20 house begins with the contestants handing out rejection tags, and the exercise quickly turns personal.
Amrapali receives a rejection tag from Arishfa, who calls her insolent. Qazi also rejects Amrapali, blaming her for creating an issue during the popcorn task. Mary, on the other hand, manages to escape the rejection tags completely.
Aasif tells Mary that nobody will even ask her name now. Mahhi takes the comment as a taunt and gets into an argument with Aasif.
Arishfa rejects Scout, calling him extremely dominating. Gullu also rejects Scout, questioning his leadership abilities and saying that he does not possess the qualities required to lead the house.
Bigg Boss then asks the inmates to identify the contestant who has received the highest number of rejection tags. Aasif admits that he has received the most.
Bigg Boss announces that Aasif is no longer a contender for captaincy. He then asks Amrapali, Mary, Rhiti, Love, Scout and Yung to stay back.
Before the captaincy process moves forward, Gullu confronts Aasif over his comments about Gullu’s beard and moustache.
Three Names Must Move Ahead
Bigg Boss tells the six contestants that only three can continue in the captaincy contendership race. The contestants therefore have to decide among themselves who deserves to move ahead.
Amrapali makes it clear that she wants to become captain. Yung says he has only one life left and believes he deserves another opportunity to prove himself.
Rhiti also puts forward her claim. She says this is an opportunity for her to prove that she has leadership qualities and deserves a chance to lead the house.
After the discussion, Rhiti, Mary and Love emerge as the three contestants who will continue in the captaincy contendership race.
Qazi immediately makes his feelings clear, saying that if Rhiti remains in the task, he will break the rules.
Amrapali Advises Aasif to Sort Out His Differences
Amrapali advises Aasif to speak to the eight contestants who rejected him and try to resolve the differences.
Aasif refuses. He tells her that he is not inside the Bigg Boss house to impress the other contestants. His focus, according to him, is on impressing the audience.
Aasif also tells Yung that Amrapali cannot be trusted after their previous conversation.
Kanika and Gullu discuss Aasif’s state of mind. Gullu says Aasif is hurt and is looking at things with only half an eye open. He then asks Kanika to wink whenever Aasif looks towards him.
Amrapali also discusses Arishfa with her group and calls her self-obsessed. Aasif adds his own sarcastic observation, saying that although Arishfa may be famous on social media, he has never even seen her before.
Kanika, Gullu and the Growing House Equations
The housemates continue discussing possible connections and alliances.
Kanika tries to link Uditi and Gullu, suggesting that there could be an angle between the two. Mahhi tells Aman that Kanika is trying to create an angle between Gullu and Uditi. Aman feels Uditi is extremely careful when it comes to such matters.
Gullu and Kanika then discuss Isha’s eviction. Gullu confidently says that Isha will surely be evicted, especially since she is nominated alongside Yung.
He asks Kanika whether she will ever realise that he would have given Isha his one vote. Kanika simply smiles at the remark.
Mahhi Questions Qazi
Mahhi confronts Qazi and tells him that he sometimes overreacts. Qazi defends his behaviour during the earlier task and stands by his actions.
Amrapali asks Rhiti whom she expects to support her during the captaincy task. Rhiti honestly says that she does not think anyone will support her.
Rhiti then asks Amrapali about her group. Amrapali tells her that her side is supporting Mary.
Qazi also announces that he will support Mary and challenges Rhiti’s group to see how many people will stand behind her.
Amrapali advises Rhiti to speak to the other contestants and try to gather support. Rhiti discusses the matter with Gullu but is disappointed when she realises that her own team is not backing her.
Gullu explains that they are supporting Mary because Mary listens to them.
Captaincy Task Turns Into a Major Fight
Bigg Boss explains the captaincy task and asks the contestants to form pairs. Aasif is assigned the responsibility of operating the task, while Gullu is also given the opportunity to protect his position as a captaincy contender.
The first round goes in Mary’s favour as she wins.
Rhiti loses the second round and is eliminated from the captaincy contendership race.
The third ball comes in Love’s name. Qazi takes the ball, while Yung does not snatch it from him. Aman and Scout support Love, followed by Isha, Amrapali and Mahhi.
The situation gets more heated when Kanika catches Gullu’s ball and Arishfa attempts to get hold of it.
Amrapali tells Mahhi that the fight between Kanika and Arishfa is pointless because the ball will eventually be passed around anyway. She questions why the two are wasting so much energy fighting over it.
The task soon becomes much more aggressive when Qazi and Yung clash over Gullu’s ball.
Qazi fights with Yung for possession of the ball, and the disagreement quickly turns into an intense confrontation. The other housemates get involved as the atmosphere inside the house becomes increasingly heated.
Kanika tells Rhiti that Qazi does not contribute much during the task. Rhiti reminds her that she has already said she does not consider Qazi a good person.
Amrapali also loses her patience and calls Qazi a poor and moronic person.
Uditi questions Qazi about his behaviour during the task and asks whether his actions were inappropriate. She also questions why he was going shirtless during the task.
Isha becomes emotional while discussing the confrontation. She claims that when she was trying to correct Qazi, he was pouncing on her.
Kanika, Arishfa, Amrapali, Gullu and Scout come forward to comfort Isha.
Gullu Becomes Captain Again
After all the chaos and physical intensity of the captaincy task, Gullu once again emerges as the captain of the week.
Qazi later apologises to Yung for hurting him during their confrontation. Yung refuses to accept his apology, and the two once again get into a verbal argument.
Clearly, the captaincy task may be over, but the Qazi-Yung conflict is nowhere near finished.
The Housemates Get Personal During the Promotional Task
The contestants later participate in a promotional task where Gullu assigns fragrances to the housemates based on their personalities and behaviour inside the house.
Warmth goes to Yung DSA, with Gullu saying it represents someone who is cold and selfish.
Comforting goes to Qazi Touqeer, representing someone who needs to become more supportive instead of being harsh.
Togetherness goes to Aasif Khan, whom Gullu accuses of dividing the house.
Welcoming goes to Uditi Singh, representing someone who is difficult to approach.
Insecurity is assigned to Amrapali Dubey and Yung, reflecting what Gullu believes comes through in their game and interactions.
Rhiti Opens Up About Her Childhood
Amid all the arguments, the episode takes an emotional turn when Rhiti opens up to Amrapali.
Rhiti tells her that she feels she can connect with only Amrapali in the house. She then shares a painful part of her childhood, revealing how much she craved Manoj Tiwari’s love while growing up.
Amrapali listens to her and comforts her.
Their conversation provides a softer moment in an episode otherwise dominated by rejection, competition and conflict.
Uditi Warns Mahhi About Gullu
Uditi tells Mahhi that if she ever feels uncomfortable around Gullu, she will speak up and point it out.
Uditi later tells Arishfa that Mahhi does not like her and says she has sensed this on several occasions.
With alliances shifting and contestants openly discussing one another, the house continues to become more divided.
Bigg Boss 20 Precap: Salman Khan Questions Rhiti’s Conduct
The upcoming episode promises another intense confrontation.
Salman Khan says that Rhiti is extremely jealous and insecure of Qazi. Rhiti responds that she simply does not like Qazi.
Salman then questions Rhiti’s team and asks whether they would have encouraged the same behaviour if the person being targeted had been their own sister.
The question leaves the entire group facing a serious reality check.
Review
This episode has everything Bigg Boss thrives on: rejection tags turning personal, captaincy ambitions creating fresh cracks and one task becoming an excuse for several unresolved grudges to explode.
Gullu’s return as captain keeps his position strong, while the Qazi-Yung clash becomes the biggest flashpoint of the episode. Qazi apologising and Yung refusing to accept it only proves that their equation needs more than one apology to settle.
Rhiti’s emotional conversation with Amrapali is the episode’s most human moment. Her childhood revelation gives some context to why she feels so strongly about finding genuine support inside the house.
The bigger question now is about the criticism coming Rhiti’s way. The precap suggests Salman is ready to put her actions under a much sharper spotlight, and that could change the way her entire team views the ongoing Qazi conflict.
