This episode does a good job of moving Saanvi’s search for her mother from an emotional longing into an actual mystery with evidence.

The locket clue is the biggest development. Matha Ji does not simply make a random guess anymore. The connection between Raj, Maya, the locket and the 25-year-old timeline gives her a genuine reason to suspect that Maya is Saanvi’s mother.

The Aditya-Saanvi scene is also quietly emotional. Saanvi is desperately searching for someone from her past while Aditya unknowingly gives her advice about holding on to a loved one. There is a bittersweet irony in the scene because Saanvi is getting closer to the truth without knowing it.

The fashion show track gives Saanvi another chance to show her personality. Aryan’s behaviour is deliberately arrogant, and Saanvi refusing to stay silent when her friend is treated badly makes her decision understandable. Aditya supporting her also creates another layer to his equation with Maya.
