Yaadein 25th September 2026 Written Update: Shristi Decides to Leave Dev After Dhruv’s Fight
The 25th September 2026 episode of Yaadein begins with the villagers coming together for Ganesh Chaturthi, but the festive atmosphere soon turns tense after Dhruv attacks a village boy who holds Jia’s hand. What starts as a protective reaction becomes the reason for another major clash between Dev and Shristi.
Dev admits that Dhruv’s use of violence was wrong, while Shristi feels that Dev has humiliated and emotionally hurt their son in front of everyone. The disagreement eventually pushes Shristi to decide that she will leave for Mumbai with Dhruv. Before she can leave, though, Dhruv mysteriously disappears.
Jia and Mallar Pray to Lord Ganesha
The episode begins with Mallar performing Aarti for Lord Ganesha.
Jia stands before Bappa and prays for Shristi and Dev to come together. She hopes that the two will resolve their differences and reunite.
Mallar has a wish of his own.
He prays that Jia will eventually like him.
The villagers also pray to Lord Ganesha, each hoping that their wishes will be fulfilled.
After the Aarti, Mallar offers Prashad to Jia and gives her four laddoos.
Dev notices this and asks Mallar for four laddoos as well.
Mallar reminds him that the laddoos are Prashad and makes a comment about Dev before giving him only half a laddoo.
Jia takes half a laddoo and eats it.
The festive mood, though, does not last for long.
Dhruv Attacks the Village Boy
Jia goes towards the dustbin to throw away her plate.
A village boy approaches her and holds her hand.
Jia immediately asks him to let go.
The boy refuses and tells Jia that he has not held her hand simply to let it go.
Dhruv notices what is happening.
He immediately steps in and orders the boy to leave his sister’s hand.
The situation escalates quickly.
Dhruv picks up a rock and hits the boy on the head.
The boy cries out in pain.
Everyone rushes towards them.
Dev immediately steps in and helps stop the bleeding.
The injured boy tells Dev and everyone else that Dhruv attacked him with a rock.
Dev turns towards Dhruv and asks whether the accusation is true.
Before Dhruv can explain, Jia tells Dev that the boy had held her hand.
Hearing this, Dev comments on the boy’s behavior.
Mallar also lashes out at the boy.
The boy insists that he has not done anything wrong.
The situation soon becomes a larger village issue.
Masaan Baba Confronts Dev
Masaan Baba approaches Dev and starts arguing with him.
He criticizes Dev and accuses him of creating problems in the village ever since his arrival.
Masaan Baba then turns his attention towards Dhruv’s upbringing.
He tells Dev that Dhruv has not been given the proper upbringing because he chose to attack the boy with a rock simply for holding Jia’s hand.
Shristi immediately defends Dhruv.
She insists that Dhruv has not done anything wrong.
Masaan Baba clarifies that the discussion is not about deciding who is right or wrong. His concern is that violence has taken place.
Dev then takes a more measured position.
He openly admits that what Dhruv did was wrong.
At the same time, he makes sure the injured boy and his father have the necessary medicine for the wound.
The boy eventually leaves with his father.
The incident is over on the surface, but the disagreement between Dev and Shristi has only begun.
Dev Explains Why Dhruv Was Wrong
After returning home, Shristi confronts Dev.
She is upset that Dev admitted in front of everyone that Dhruv was wrong.
Dev explains his reasoning.
He tells her that he loves Dhruv and does not want the boy to grow up believing that violence should be his first response whenever something goes wrong.
Dev asks Dhruv never to choose violence as the first option if he faces a similar situation again.
Shristi is not convinced.
She sends Jia and Dhruv away so that she can speak to Dev privately.
Shristi Accuses Dev of Hurting Dhruv
Shristi tells Dev that he has broken Dhruv’s confidence by publicly saying that he was wrong.
She believes Dev should have supported Dhruv rather than criticizing him in front of everyone.
The argument becomes deeply personal.
Shristi accuses Dev of behaving this way because he does not consider Dhruv his real son.
She tells Dev that Dhruv is her son.
Dev immediately insists that he loves Dhruv.
He explains that his concern is precisely because he loves the boy. He does not want Dhruv to follow in Pralay Singh’s footsteps and grow up choosing violence whenever he becomes angry.
His explanation, though, only makes Shristi more upset.
Dev and Shristi’s Argument Turns Personal
Shristi tells Dev that when he becomes angry, he does not know what he is saying.
She feels that his words have revealed his true feelings.
According to Shristi, Dev has indirectly admitted that he does not see Dhruv as his own child.
Dev tries to explain himself and correct the misunderstanding.
Shristi refuses to listen.
She becomes so hurt that she decides to leave.
Shristi tells Dev that she will take Dhruv and leave for Mumbai the next day.
Dev becomes frustrated by the argument and eventually agrees to her decision.
His reaction leaves Shristi even more determined.
Shristi Decides to Leave for Mumbai
Shristi begins packing her bags.
She later comforts an emotional Dhruv and tells him that they will leave for Mumbai the following day.
Dhruv is clearly affected by everything that has happened.
Jia then reminds Shristi about the promise she had made to her.
Shristi had promised Jia that she would stay with her until her birthday.
Jia reminds her of the oath and asks her to keep it.
Shristi, though, is unable to accept the thought of seeing Dhruv hurt because of that promise.
She asks Jia to take back her oath.
Jia eventually agrees.
She takes back the promise, allowing Shristi to make her decision without feeling bound by what she had promised.
Jia Asks Dev to Stop Shristi
Later, Jia approaches Dev.
She asks him to convince Shristi to stay.
Jia clearly does not want the family to break apart again.
Dev, though, reminds her that Shristi is not someone who changes her decision once she has made up her mind.
He understands that she has decided to leave and believes it will be difficult to stop her now.
The situation appears settled.
Shristi will leave for Mumbai with Dhruv.
But the next morning brings an unexpected problem.
Dhruv Goes Missing
The next morning, Shristi looks for Dhruv.
She expects to find him, but he is nowhere around.
Shristi becomes confused and worried.
She searches for him but cannot locate him.
The episode ends on this disturbing development.
After the emotional argument between Dev and Shristi, Dhruv’s sudden disappearance creates an entirely new crisis for the family.
Yaadein 25th September 2026 Episode Review
This episode has a strong emotional core because the original conflict is actually quite simple: Dhruv reacts violently while protecting Jia, and Dev wants him to understand that violence cannot become his automatic response.
Dev admitting that Dhruv was wrong is not necessarily a rejection of him. In fact, Dev specifically explains that he loves Dhruv and does not want him to repeat Pralay Singh’s pattern of responding to anger through violence. That makes his position understandable.
Shristi, though, hears something completely different.
For her, Dev’s public criticism feels like a rejection of Dhruv, and the argument quickly turns into her deepest insecurity — whether Dev truly considers Dhruv his son. Once that thought enters her mind, Dev’s explanations are unable to reach her.
The strongest emotional moment comes when Shristi asks Jia to take back her oath. Jia had wanted her to stay until her birthday, but Shristi is so hurt by what happened to Dhruv that she cannot continue simply to keep a promise.
The final twist works well because Shristi has already decided to leave, and now Dhruv is suddenly missing. The next episode can therefore move the story from a family argument into a search.
The precap makes Masaan Baba the obvious person under suspicion, especially after his confrontation with Dev. Whether that suspicion proves correct remains the big question.
