Kyunki Rishton Ke Bhi Roop Badalte Hai 26th September 2026 Written Update: Madhavi Confronts Angad as Karthik Falls for Vrinda

The latest episode of Kyunki Rishton Ke Bhi Roop Badalte Hai brings several relationship tracks together as Karthik’s growing feelings for Vrinda become increasingly obvious, Madhavi takes a step towards independence, and Dev quietly continues working on his plans against Angad. At the same time, Timsi tries to create opportunities for Karthik and Vrinda to spend time together, while Hemant receives an emotional reminder of Pooja.

Karthik’s Mother Realises He Has Fallen for Vrinda

The episode begins with Karthik waking up from a dream when his mother enters the room. She immediately notices that he seems lost in his thoughts. His behaviour makes her realise that something has changed in him.

Karthik’s mother understands that he has genuinely fallen in love with Vrinda. She can see the difference in her son and recognises that Vrinda’s presence has brought a noticeable change in his life.

Elsewhere, Angad notices Vrinda preparing fritters in the kitchen. He immediately goes over to help her, but Vrinda refuses his assistance. She tells him that she can manage everything herself.

Vrinda then walks away, leaving Angad watching her. The moment quietly reflects the distance that still exists between them despite Angad’s attempts to reconnect with the family.

Madhavi Wants to Become Independent

Elsewhere, Madhavi and Timsi remain worried about their plan, with Timsi fearing that things could go wrong. Madhavi decides that she needs to speak to Mumma.

When Vrinda arrives, Madhavi tells her that she wants to take up a part-time job. Vrinda is surprised and asks why she has suddenly made this decision.

Madhavi explains that she wants to use her time constructively and become independent. She also wants to do something that makes Vrinda proud of her.

Vrinda is touched by Madhavi’s thinking and tells her that she is already proud of her. She even offers Madhavi the option of joining their company.

Madhavi, though, makes it clear that she does not want to simply benefit from the family business. She wants to build something independently and experience working on her own.

Timsi also requests Vrinda to give Madhavi permission to work outside the family business. After considering everything, Vrinda agrees.

She does place one condition before Madhavi. She wants to know all the details about the company where Madhavi will be working. Vrinda wants to make sure that Madhavi is safe and knows exactly where she is going.

For Madhavi, the permission is important because her job has a personal purpose beyond simply becoming independent.

Madhavi Plans to Return Angad’s Money

Madhavi feels relieved after getting Vrinda’s approval. She now secretly plans to use the money she earns to return the money Angad gave them.

Her determination comes from everything she has experienced after Angad’s absence. She does not want to suddenly depend on the father who was not there when she needed him.

That becomes clear when Angad learns about Madhavi’s decision to work.

Angad tells her not to take up the job and reminds her that her father has returned. Instead of making Madhavi feel reassured, his words only reopen old wounds.

Madhavi Finally Confronts Angad

Madhavi loses her patience and questions Angad about where he was during all those years when she actually needed her father.

She reminds him that he cannot simply return after being absent for so long and start making decisions about her life.

Madhavi even asks Angad whether he knows which subject she has chosen in college. Her point is simple: his absence has affected every part of her life, including the things he now wants to control.

She tells him that he must never forget that he was the one who left them.

Timsi tries to calm Madhavi, but the hurt accumulated over the years is too strong for her to simply suppress.

Madhavi further tells Timsi that she never properly celebrated her birthdays without her father. After everything that has happened, she says she is no longer bothered about him in the way she once was.

Her decision to work is therefore about more than money. Madhavi wants to stand on her own feet and prove that she does not need to depend on Angad.

She also remains determined to return his money herself.

This confrontation becomes one of the episode’s strongest emotional moments because Angad may be trying to rebuild his relationship with his family, but Madhavi is not ready to erase years of hurt simply because he has come back.

Timsi Creates a Chance for Karthik and Vrinda

After Madhavi’s emotional confrontation, Timsi tries to help her calm down.

Just then, Karthik arrives home after receiving their message. Madhavi confirms that she was the one who texted him.

Karthik learns that Madhavi wants to go shopping and has asked him to drop them.

Before things can proceed normally, Timsi suddenly falls down. Madhavi immediately becomes concerned and tells her that she should see a doctor.

Timsi quickly assures her that she is absolutely fine. She then asks Karthik to bring her bag.

Once Karthik leaves, Timsi quietly reveals the truth to Madhavi. She is not actually unwell. She deliberately created the situation because she wants Karthik and Vrinda to get some time together.

Timsi is clearly playing matchmaker behind the scenes. She believes that giving Karthik and Vrinda some private time may help them understand what they truly feel for each other.

Karthik’s mother already senses that he has fallen for Vrinda, and Timsi now appears determined to push the relationship forward.

Dev Continues His Plan Against Angad

At the same time, Dev asks Ritik to repair a guitar for Aarav.

While Ritik works on the guitar, Dev starts discussing Angad. He praises Angad and says that he has become a rockstar. Dev also praises Ritik’s talent and suggests that the brothers should think beyond the family business and showcase what they can actually do.

Dev tells Ritik that Angad may never leave his business empire, so Ritik could consider collaborating with him in another field.

Ritik agrees that Dev has a point, though he says he cannot think about it at the moment.

Dev tells him to consider the idea later.

Yet Dev’s intentions remain clear. He wants Angad and Ritik to move away from the business and, ultimately, away from his own life.

His suggestions may sound harmless on the surface, but there is clearly a larger plan behind them.

Saloni Helps Munni Get Ready

Munni is getting ready when Saloni notices that she seems worried.

When Saloni asks what is troubling her, Munni says that she feels her hair does not have enough volume.

Saloni immediately comes up with a solution and brings L’Oréal Paris Collagen Lifter for her. She explains that the product can help make Munni’s hair appear thicker.

Munni likes the fragrance, and Saloni encourages her to continue getting ready as the preparations at home move forward.

The lighter moment provides a small break from the emotional family drama unfolding around Madhavi and Angad.

Hemant Receives an Emotional Surprise

At the office, Hemant is extremely hungry. He drinks some water and decides to order food.

Just then, an office boy arrives carrying a tiffin. Hemant assumes that his family has sent something for him.

When he opens the box, he finds his favourite dhokla.

Hemant happily takes his first bite, but the familiar taste immediately changes his mood. The dhokla reminds him of Pooja, and he begins missing her.

The food brings back memories that Hemant cannot simply push aside.

Then he notices a note kept with the tiffin.

Hemant reads it and discovers that Noina has sent the dhokla for him.

The gesture leaves him with mixed emotions. The taste of his favourite food has brought Pooja back into his thoughts, while Noina’s effort shows that she is thinking about him and knows what he likes.

It becomes a quiet but emotional moment for Hemant.

Episode Ends With Relationships Getting More Complicated

The episode brings several storylines together without giving any of them a complete resolution.

Madhavi is determined to become financially independent and wants to return Angad’s money instead of depending on him. Angad, on the other hand, is still trying to find his place in the family after being absent for years.

Karthik’s feelings for Vrinda are becoming impossible for his mother to ignore, while Timsi is secretly doing everything she can to bring the two closer.

Dev continues planting ideas in Ritik’s mind about moving beyond the family business, with his own agenda clearly hidden underneath his suggestions.

Hemant’s moment with the dhokla adds another emotional layer as memories of Pooja continue to affect him.

Precap

In the precap, Dev gives Vrinda some wrong suggestions. His words influence her decision, and Vrinda refuses to accept the gift brought by Angad.

Review

This episode works best when it lets the characters’ emotions speak for themselves. Madhavi’s confrontation with Angad is easily the strongest track because her anger does not come out of nowhere. She reminds him that returning home does not automatically erase the years when he was absent, and her decision to work becomes a statement of independence rather than just a career choice.

Karthik and Vrinda’s growing equation gets a lighter romantic push thanks to Timsi, who has apparently appointed herself the unofficial cupid of the family. Her fake fall is a little dramatic, but at least her intentions are entertaining.

Dev’s track is more quietly dangerous. His suggestions to Ritik sound supportive, yet his larger intention is to separate Angad and Ritik from the business and from his own life. That manipulation could create bigger trouble ahead.

Hemant’s dhokla moment is simple but effective, especially because one familiar taste brings back an entire emotional connection with Pooja.

Overall, the episode balances family tension, romance, manipulation and emotional baggage well. Madhavi’s independence track has the strongest impact, while Dev’s plotting promises another round of trouble.
