Yeh Fitoor Tera 28th September 2026 Written Update: Soumya Gets Roop Arrested
The latest episode of Yeh Fitoor Tera brings a major turning point in Soumya’s life as she finally decides to fight back against Roop. While Ridhan reassures Madhu and Anup that he knows about Soumya’s past and still wants to marry her, Roop continues humiliating Soumya and questioning her character. His cruel behaviour finally pushes Soumya to take a bold step as she files a complaint against him for child abuse.
Ridhan Promises to Stand by Soumya
The episode begins with Ridhan reassuring Madhu and Anup that he is completely aware of Soumya’s past and is still ready to stand by her.
He tells Anup that he wants to prove himself as a good life partner for Soumya. Ridhan promises that he will always respect her choices and make decisions according to her wishes rather than forcing his own expectations on her.
His only intention, he says, is to bring happiness into Soumya’s life and ensure that she never feels alone.
Madhu becomes emotional after hearing Ridhan speak so sincerely. She feels blessed that Soumya has found someone who is willing to accept her without judging her past.
At the same time, Uma informs Madhu that she has already spoken to Pandit ji regarding the alliance.
Krish then asks Anup about Soumya’s whereabouts. Anup asks everyone to come inside the house. Yet just as they are about to enter, he suddenly notices a burning smell.
Anup becomes suspicious, sensing that something may have gone wrong.
Jeet Accuses Roop After the Fire
Jeet then tells everyone about the fire incident that took place in the house.
His anger is obvious as he directly accuses Roop of being responsible for what happened.
Roop immediately tries to defend himself. He claims that he cannot see properly and attempts to shift the blame onto Jeet and Soumya instead.
Roop tells Anup that he heard Soumya talking to Jeet and tries to make it sound suspicious, suggesting that the two were taking advantage of the fact that the house was empty.
Jeet is furious when he hears Roop making such allegations against Soumya.
Roop refuses to back down. He tells Jeet that he is not afraid of him and then makes an even more shocking accusation.
He claims that Jeet and Soumya were involved in a romantic moment with candles.
The allegation leaves Jeet enraged.
Soumya confronts Roop and asks him why he continues to lie. She knows exactly what he is trying to do and refuses to silently accept his accusations.
Roop Questions Soumya’s Character
Roop then crosses every limit by making deeply personal accusations against Soumya and questioning her character.
Soumya is visibly hurt by his words.
Anup immediately comes to her defence and tells Roop that Soumya does not lie.
Roop arrogantly tells Anup that he is nothing without him and once again tries to place the entire blame on Soumya.
He then brings up Soumya’s painful past and attempts to use it against her. He tries to make everyone believe that she is repeating the same situation again.
Roop claims that many girls face similar situations but remain silent. He accuses Soumya of speaking up only because of Jeet.
His attack then becomes even more insulting as he turns towards the women of the family and tells them that they will never do anything because they are weak.
Everyone is left stunned by his words.
Roop seems convinced that he can continue humiliating Soumya and still escape the consequences.
He is about to discover just how wrong he is.
Sanjiv Opposes Soumya and Ridhan’s Alliance
Elsewhere, Sanjiv confronts Nita over her decision to fix Ridhan and Soumya’s alliance.
Nita questions why Sanjiv has a problem with her wanting her son to be happy.
Sanjiv asks her to think about why Soumya has been rejected by so many people in the past. He raises doubts about whether there is something about Soumya’s past or circumstances that her family has been hiding.
Nita refuses to allow Sanjiv to poison her mind against the alliance.
She makes it clear that her priority is Ridhan’s happiness and that she does not want unnecessary doubts to come between him and Soumya.
Sanjiv, though, remains determined to stop the marriage.
Roop Humiliates Soumya Again
Roop continues emotionally attacking Soumya in front of the family.
He tells her not to say anything and assures Anup that she will eventually return to behaving normally.
He then tells Soumya that she is fortunate to have someone like Ridhan willing to marry her. According to Roop, without Ridhan, no one would accept her.
His words completely shatter Soumya.
Unable to bear any more humiliation, she quietly walks away.
Jeet is furious after watching Roop repeatedly insult Soumya, but Roop remains confident.
He tells Anup that Soumya will not be able to do anything against him.
Roop clearly believes that he still holds all the power in the house.
Sanjiv Wants Ridhan to End the Alliance
Nita once again warns Sanjiv not to provoke her.
She tells him that if he continues interfering, Ridhan could eventually start hating him just as Jeet does.
Sanjiv argues that they are parents and therefore have a responsibility to protect their son.
He is even willing to become the “bad father” if that is what it takes to stop Ridhan from making what he considers a wrong decision.
Sanjiv asks Nita to stop Ridhan from moving forward with the alliance.
The disagreement between the two families therefore continues to grow.
Soumya Takes a Bold Step Against Roop
Soumya remains deeply hurt by everything Roop has said about her and her father.
Roop, meanwhile, confidently announces that nobody will discuss the incident from twenty years ago anymore.
He believes that the matter will simply disappear and declares that he will once again become the head of the house and receive the same respect he enjoyed earlier.
His confidence lasts only for a few moments.
The police suddenly arrive at the house.
Inspector Nikhil enters with his team and announces that Roop Mathur is being arrested following a complaint filed by Soumya against him for child abuse.
The entire family is left stunned.
Roop never expected Soumya to take such a major step against him.
Soumya Chooses Justice Over Fear
Soumya finally finds the courage to speak openly.
She tells her parents that she is sorry for taking such a major decision without asking for their permission.
At the same time, she refuses to apologise for seeking justice.
Soumya firmly states that Roop deserves punishment for what he did. She asks the police to arrest him and makes it clear that she will not step back now.
The police then instruct Roop to come with them.
Roop desperately tries to save himself.
He calls Soumya mentally unstable and once again attempts to attack her character. He tries to make the family doubt her instead of facing the allegations against him.
Krish becomes furious and wants to physically confront Roop.
Jeet stops him.
Instead of allowing the situation to turn into another physical confrontation, Jeet points out that this is Soumya’s fight. She has chosen to stand up for herself, and he wants her to get justice through her own courage.
This becomes an important moment for Jeet because he does not try to take control of Soumya’s battle. He allows her to make her own choice and face Roop on her own terms.
Finally, Roop is taken away by the police.
For Soumya, this is more than just an arrest. It is the moment when she finally breaks the silence that has surrounded her painful past for years.

This is easily one of Soumya’s most important episodes because she finally stops allowing Roop to control the narrative.
Roop spends the entire episode throwing accusations at her, attacking her past and trying to make everyone doubt her. The twist is that Soumya does not answer his cruelty with another argument. She answers it with action — she has already filed the complaint.
Jeet also gets an important moment here. Instead of turning Roop’s arrest into another personal fight, he stops Krish and lets Soumya own her battle. That makes the moment more meaningful because Soumya is not being “rescued”; she is standing up for herself.
Ridhan’s unwavering support gives the story its softer emotional side, while Sanjiv’s opposition keeps the marriage track complicated. The real question now is whether Ridhan’s family will accept Soumya once they learn the truth behind Roop’s arrest.
Roop wanted everyone to believe that Soumya was powerless. She just gave him the most inconvenient answer possible: a police complaint.
