Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 29th September 2026 Written Update: Myra Questions Arman’s Love as Kabir Confronts Him
Today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai focuses on the aftermath of Arman slapping Myra, with the Poddar family divided over whether strict parenting is justified. While Kaveri defends Arman’s decision to discipline Myra, Abhira admits that he was wrong to raise his hand against her. Myra, on the other hand, continues to believe that Arman only cares about Abhira.
The episode also brings a separate confrontation between Raghav and Kabir, while the Poddars come together for Ganpati Visarjan.
Kaveri and Vidya Clash Over Parenting
The episode begins with Kaveri insisting that Arman and Abhira need to be strict with Myra. Arman is already filled with regret over slapping Myra, but Kaveri believes that sometimes children need to be scolded or they may become spoiled.
She gives her own example, reminding everyone that she has always been strict with her children.
Vidya immediately points out that everyone has also witnessed the consequences of Kaveri’s strict parenting.
Kajal tries to stop the argument and asks Vidya to let the matter go. Vidya, though, tells Kajal that she still fears Kaveri.
She then points out that Madhav has only recently become comfortable around Kaveri again after a long period of tension. Vidya also brings up Manoj’s career, saying that he initially practised law because of the pressure he faced from Kaveri. According to Vidya, Manoj only found success after joining the family business.
The discussion soon turns into a heated argument between Vidya and Kaveri about parenting.
Kaveri maintains that Myra is simply being stubborn. Vidya sees the situation differently and argues that Myra is only asking to get married because she is still a child who does not understand the consequences of her decision.
Kaveri firmly says that children do not get married.
The discussion continues as Abhira asks Manisha to take Kiara’s call. Manisha refuses to lie to Kiara about the Ganpati Visarjan.
Kajal then reminds Abhira that there was a time when she herself had opposed Charu.
Manisha recalls how she had once thrown Kiara out and says that nobody really knows what works better with a child—strictness or love.
Abhira finally makes her position clear. She admits that Arman was wrong to slap Myra.
Myra Questions Arman’s Love
Abhira later goes to speak to Myra privately.
She tries to explain that Arman genuinely loves her. Abhira reminds Myra of the many sacrifices Arman has made for her and asks her to understand that his actions come from concern.
Myra, though, is not convinced.
She asks Abhira why parents always count the sacrifices they make for their children.
For Myra, love should not come with a list of everything a parent has done.
She goes on to call Arman a hypocrite.
Abhira once again tries to reassure her that Arman loves her. Myra then reveals the way she has interpreted the entire incident.
She believes Arman slapped her because she upset Abhira.
According to Myra, Arman does not actually care about her feelings. She feels that he only loves Abhira.
Abhira tries to explain that this is not true and that Arman was hurt because Myra announced her relationship in front of everyone, making the family feel insulted.
Myra refuses to accept that explanation.
She argues that parents often claim their love is unconditional, but in reality, their love is one-sided. According to her, parents continue loving their children only as long as the children follow their terms and conditions.
Her words leave Abhira with little to say.
Raghav Refuses to Pay Kabir
The episode then shifts to Raghav and Kabir.
Raghav asks Kabir to leave his office. Kabir refuses to simply walk away and tells Raghav that he should first pay him for the work he has done.
Raghav questions whether Kabir needs money.
Kabir reminds him that he has worked for the company and contributed to its marketing and PR efforts. He even shows Raghav the relevant document as proof of his work.
Raghav, though, claims that Kabir has prepared the wrong document.
Kabir immediately says that he will fix it.
Raghav then gives him another condition. He tells Kabir that he can fix the document, but he must also apologise to the family.
Kabir receives a message from Krish at that moment.
The situation is interrupted as the Poddar family begins gathering for Ganpati Visarjan.
Myra Learns About Arman’s Guilt
The Poddars come together for the Ganpati Visarjan rituals.
Myra also joins the family for the veneration.
During the celebrations, she learns that Arman has hurt himself because he feels guilty about slapping her.
Arman is apparently refusing to go to the doctor despite his injury.
The revelation affects Myra. After spending the episode believing that Arman does not care about her and only loves Abhira, she now learns that he is suffering because of what happened.
Myra continues waiting for Kabir, though.
Her feelings remain complicated, especially after everything that has happened between her, Arman and Abhira.
The episode ends with this emotional tension hanging over the Poddar family.
Precap: Myra Defends Arman
The precap brings an unexpected turn.
Arman asks Abhira whether she has seen Myra.
At the same time, Kabir confronts Arman about slapping Myra. The confrontation appears ready to intensify as Kabir questions Arman’s actions.
But Myra surprises everyone.
Instead of accusing Arman or supporting Kabir, she defends Arman.
Her unexpected support leaves everyone stunned.
Kabir is particularly shocked to see Myra taking Arman’s side after everything that has happened.
The big question now is whether Myra has finally understood Arman’s guilt and love, or whether there is another reason behind her sudden decision to defend him.
Review
The Myra-Arman track is becoming more emotionally complicated because Myra is no longer simply angry—she is trying to understand what her parents’ love actually means. Her question about parents counting their sacrifices is especially telling because it shows how differently a child can interpret the same actions.
Abhira does the right thing by admitting that Arman was wrong to slap Myra, even while defending the fact that he loves her. That balance gives the conflict more weight than simply turning it into a strict-parent-versus-rebellious-child argument.
And Myra defending Arman in the precap is the real surprise. After repeatedly insisting that Arman only loves Abhira, she suddenly stands up for him when Kabir confronts him. That little reversal could change the entire equation.
