The 30th September 2026 episode of Tum Dena Saath Mera begins on a lighter note as Rakshit and Aparajita wake up after their chaotic night and discover that they have been travelling inside a tomato truck. Their hilarious escape soon gives way to a much more serious family conflict when Sudha decides that Aparajita needs to undergo a purification ritual. Aparajita refuses to silently accept the humiliation, and Rakshit finally seems ready to take a major stand for her.
Rakshit and Aparajita Wake Up in a Truck
The episode begins with Rakshit and Aparajita waking up after their exhausting and eventful night.
Rakshit thanks Aparajita for everything that happened the previous night. The two then get down from the truck they had been hiding in.
The truck driver is shocked to see them and immediately questions what they were doing inside his vehicle.
Rakshit honestly admits that they had been hiding in the truck and asks where they currently are.
The driver, who is drunk, tells them that they are on the Ujjain bypass highway. He is far more concerned about his tomatoes than their strange situation.
The truck driver angrily complains that Rakshit and Aparajita have ruined his tomatoes. He even asks whether they were wrestling inside the truck.
Rakshit quickly comes up with an excuse and tells him that they were simply unconscious.
The explanation does not satisfy the driver.
He demands compensation for the damaged tomatoes and says they cost ₹50 per kilogram.
Aparajita immediately challenges his calculation. She points out that tomatoes are available for around ₹30 per kilogram in the market.
The driver refuses to compromise and insists that he wants at least ₹40 per kilogram.
Rakshit watches the two argue over the price and decides that there is no point wasting more time.
He gives the truck driver ₹10,000 and leaves with Aparajita.
Their bizarre journey continues, but at least they are finally out of the truck.
Sudha Finally Calls Aparajita Rakshit’s Wife
The story then shifts back to the family.
Police Commissioner Akash meets Arvind and warns him to keep Rakshit under control. He reminds Arvind that Rakshit ran away with a girl while he was in police custody.
Sudha immediately clarifies the situation.
She tells Akash that the girl is Rakshit’s wife.
Rakshit and Aparajita happen to enter the house at exactly this moment and hear Sudha’s statement.
Aparajita is pleasantly surprised.
For the first time, Sudha has openly referred to her as Rakshit’s wife.
Akash is shocked by the revelation and asks when Rakshit got married. He also questions Arvind about why he was not invited to the wedding.
Arvind explains that everything happened in a hurry and promises to invite Akash to the reception.
Rakshit then politely asks Akash how he is doing.
Akash responds by showing them a newspaper.
The newspaper has a photograph of Rakshit and Aparajita together.
Akash warns Rakshit to be careful before leaving.
Once he is gone, Arvind laughs at the strange situation.

Meanwhile, Malti sees Rakshit and Aparajita’s photograph in the newspaper.

She believes that everything is finally fine between Rakshit and Aparajita and is happy to see them together.
A neighbour arrives and makes a nasty remark, suggesting that Malti must be ashamed because of everything that has happened.
Malti refuses to accept the insult.
She confidently says that she is happy because Aparajita is with her husband.
For Malti, Rakshit and Aparajita being together is not something to hide.
Her response makes it clear that she has no intention of allowing society’s opinions to dictate how she feels about Aparajita.
Rakshit Remembers Their Wedding Night
On the other side, Rakshit and Aparajita talk about everything that happened.
Rakshit tells her that he will never forget their wedding night.
Their conversation carries a lighter, romantic feeling after the chaos they have gone through together.
The happiness, though, is short-lived.
Back at home, Sheela tells Sudha that they should throw Aparajita out of the house.
Sudha says that throwing her out is not possible.
Instead, she comes up with another plan.
She suggests that Aparajita should undergo a purification puja.
Sheela immediately points out that Rakshit will never agree to such a thing.
Sudha has already thought of that.
She says that they will hide the real reason for the ritual from everyone.
Their plan is to make Aparajita participate without allowing Rakshit to understand what they are actually trying to imply about her.
Sudha Forces Aparajita Into a Purification Puja
Aparajita arrives, unaware of the conversation that has taken place behind her back.
Sudha tells her not to go to the office that day and instead asks her to remain at home.
She gives her a reason: Aparajita is the elder daughter-in-law of the family, and she needs to perform a puja.
Aparajita listens.
Sheela then starts explaining the difficult rules that have to be followed during the ritual.
The biggest condition is that Aparajita cannot eat or drink anything from the morning until 6 p.m.
Sheela also reminds her that Rakshit will not agree if he learns about the ritual.
Sudha insists that the puja is necessary.
Sheela suggests that they hide it from Rakshit.
Aparajita agrees to participate, seemingly unaware of the real intention behind the ritual.
The situation is deeply uncomfortable because the ritual is being presented as a family tradition while the people arranging it are actually using it to question Aparajita’s purity.

The episode starts with the kind of chaotic comedy Tum Dena Saath Mera has been serving lately — Rakshit and Aparajita waking up inside a tomato truck and then negotiating tomato prices with a drunk driver is ridiculous in the most entertaining way.
The mood changes sharply once Sudha and Sheela begin planning the purification ritual.
The real problem here is not the puja itself. It is the insulting idea behind it. Aparajita is being asked to prove her purity because the family has already judged her, and the fact that they plan to hide the real reason from Rakshit makes the entire situation even more manipulative.
Malti defending Aparajita is a refreshing moment because she refuses to play along with society’s shame game.
The precap is easily the strongest part. Aparajita finally refuses to quietly accept the insult, and Rakshit draws a clear boundary: if his wife is not respected, he does not consider the house his home.
That could finally push the couple toward independence — and give this family drama a much-needed shake-up.
