Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan 2nd October Episode Review: Murli Begs Sahana as Sneha’s Biggest Secret Faces Exposure

The episode works particularly well because two emotional battles run parallel—Murli desperately trying to repair his broken relationship with Sahana, while Sneha faces the terrifying possibility that her pregnancy lie could finally be exposed.

Murli’s redemption track gets its strongest emotional moment yet. His decision to get Sahana’s tormentors arrested is meaningful because he is finally taking action instead of merely apologizing. His breakdown, regret over questioning Sahana’s character, and determination to regain her trust show that he has understood the damage he caused. Yet the episode wisely doesn’t make Sahana forgive him instantly. Her refusal to return with him makes the consequences of his betrayal feel real.

The diya sequence adds another emotional layer. Murli promising not to break Sahana’s trust again is heartfelt, while Sahana silently hearing his pain and shutting the door shows her internal conflict. She clearly understands his regret, but understanding him doesn’t erase what happened. Ganga’s decision to give Sahana time also keeps this track grounded.

The stronger suspense, though, comes from Sneha’s fake pregnancy. Purvi and Sarla pushing for an ultrasound is exactly the kind of pressure that can destroy Sneha and Madhu’s carefully maintained lie. Sneha’s relief when the first doctor leaves is short-lived because the family immediately decides to take her for another test.

The most interesting part is Siddhu’s innocence about the ultrasound. His excitement at the thought of hearing his baby’s heartbeat makes the situation even more painful because he genuinely believes Sneha is pregnant. His happiness is completely dependent on a truth that doesn’t exist.

Durgavati staying with Sneha during the scan raises the stakes further. With Purvi deliberately trying to ensure that Durgavati discovers the truth, Sneha and Madhu have almost nowhere left to hide.

Overall, the episode balances Murli’s emotional redemption with Sneha’s mounting fear effectively. Murli’s story moves towards rebuilding trust, while Sneha’s story moves dangerously close to its biggest crisis.

Rating: 4.7/5

Murli is finally fighting to win Sahana back—but Sneha may soon have to fight to keep her entire world from collapsing.
