Tum Dena Saath Mera 2nd October 2026 Written Update: Rakshit Stands Up for Aparajita as Sudha Calls Her Impure

The 2nd October episode of Tum Dena Saath Mera takes the ongoing conflict over Aparajita’s so-called purification puja to an emotional breaking point. What begins with Aparajita questioning the priest’s regressive remarks soon turns into a direct confrontation with Sheela and Sudha. This time, Rakshit refuses to stay silent when his wife’s dignity is attacked.

Aparajita Questions the Meaning of Purity

The episode begins with Aparajita confronting the priest for mocking a woman’s dignity. Sheela immediately questions Aparajita and asks whether she has no shame in speaking to the priest in such a manner.

Aparajita refuses to back down.

She questions the very idea that a woman becomes impure simply because her marriage has broken. According to Aparajita, the real impurity lies with people who fail to respect women. She cannot understand how Sudha and Sheela, despite being women themselves, can think so cruelly about another woman.

Aparajita turns to Sudha and asks her a difficult question. Can Sudha really tell her own daughter to undergo a purification puja under the same circumstances?

The question leaves the atmosphere tense.

Sheela asks Aparajita to stop and argues that every family has its own customs and traditions. She questions what harm could possibly come from Aparajita simply performing the purification puja.

For Aparajita, this is not about a ritual.

It is about her dignity.

She explains that she fought hard to regain her self-respect and has always kept her honour above everything else. She refuses to allow anyone to take that away from her now.

Aparajita makes her position absolutely clear. She is not impure, and she will never accept such a label. She reminds everyone that she is Aparajita, a woman who has never accepted defeat.

Sheela Tells Rakshit That Aparajita Is Being “Purified”

Rakshit arrives and immediately notices that Aparajita is crying. He asks her what happened.

Sheela sarcastically remarks that love has made Rakshit deaf. She taunts him for noticing only Aparajita’s tears while supposedly ignoring everything that happened before he arrived.

Rakshit does not pay attention to the taunt. His concern remains focused on Aparajita.

He asks her what happened and reminds her that they cannot hide anything from each other.

Sheela gives him her version of events. She claims that nobody physically assaulted Aparajita and accuses Aparajita of creating unnecessary drama over the purification puja.

Rakshit is stunned when he hears the reason behind the ritual.

Sheela tells him that Aparajita lived as someone else’s wife for four years. Because of this, she insists that Aparajita cannot be taken before their family deity without being purified first.

Rakshit immediately warns Sheela to stop.

He reminds her that Aparajita is his wife and tells Sheela not to cross her limits.

He then turns toward Sudha and asks whether she genuinely wanted Aparajita to undergo the purification puja.

Sudha admits that she considers it necessary for her son’s well-being.

That answer leaves Rakshit disappointed, but his next words surprise Aparajita.

He tells Aparajita that the purification puja should happen.

Aparajita is shocked.

Rakshit then clarifies what he means.

If Aparajita is supposedly impure, then he is ready to undergo the same ritual himself.

Rakshit Refuses to Let Aparajita Stand Alone

Sheela immediately objects. She insists that only Aparajita is considered impure.

Rakshit challenges that logic.

He points out that he has also had girlfriends during his college days. He has also eaten eggs and chicken. If the family is genuinely concerned about purity, then he should also be subjected to the same purification ritual.

Rakshit asks the priest to perform his purification puja too.

Sheela tells him that men do not have to undergo such rituals and instead asks him to apologize to God.

Rakshit refuses to accept the double standard.

In one of the episode’s most emotional moments, he falls before Aparajita and apologizes to her.

Sheela is stunned and calls Rakshit mad.

Aparajita immediately asks him to get up.

Rakshit, though, has something more to say.

He tells Aparajita that he has two gods in his life. One is his mother, and the other is Aparajita.

He acknowledges that his mother has wronged his wife and apologizes to Aparajita on behalf of both Sudha and Sheela.

For Rakshit, this is no longer about choosing between his mother and his wife. It is about accepting that his wife has been humiliated in front of everyone.

Rakshit Questions Sudha’s Treatment of Aparajita

Rakshit turns toward Sudha and says that he was always proud of being her son.

That makes her behaviour even more painful for him.

He asks how she can call Aparajita an impure woman.

He tells Sudha and Sheela that they should apologize to Aparajita for insulting her.

Arvind also steps in and asks Sudha not to hate Aparajita so much. He questions why she has allowed the situation to reach this point.

Vivaan is equally disturbed. He admits that he never knew Sudha’s mindset was like this and questions why the family needs to go through such an ordeal in the first place.

Mohit also tells Sudha that she has done wrong.

For a moment, it seems as though the family is finally beginning to understand Aparajita’s side.

Sudha, though, refuses to accept responsibility.

Sudha Calls Aparajita a Bad Omen

Instead of apologizing, Sudha turns the blame back on Aparajita.

She sarcastically tells Aparajita that she must be very happy now because she has succeeded in turning everyone against her.

Sudha goes even further and calls Aparajita a lowlife and a bad omen.

She accuses her of destroying the peace of the family and claims that Aparajita had done the same thing in her first family.

The accusation hits Aparajita hard, but she does not quietly accept it.

She asks Sudha a simple but powerful question: would Sudha say all these things to her own daughter?

The question exposes the hypocrisy behind Sudha’s accusations.

Sudha loses her temper and attempts to slap Aparajita.

Aparajita, though, is prepared.

She catches Sudha’s hand before the slap can land.

The episode ends on this powerful confrontation.

Precap: Aparajita Chooses Herself

The upcoming episode takes the conflict even further.

Aparajita tells Rakshit that she knows she is his wife and the daughter-in-law of the family. But before all those relationships, she is Aparajita.

And she has to fight for Aparajita.

Rakshit then makes a major decision.

He decides to leave the house with Aparajita.

Tum Dena Saath Mera 2nd October 2026 Review

This episode finally gives Aparajita the support she has been desperately needing.

The strongest part of the episode is Rakshit refusing to accept the ridiculous double standard being imposed on his wife. His decision to say, essentially, “If she needs purification, then so do I,” turns the family’s logic back on itself.

His apology to Aparajita is also an emotional highlight because he does not merely defend her in anger. He openly acknowledges that his mother has wronged his wife and asks forgiveness on her behalf.

Sudha’s accusations, on the other hand, make the family conflict even uglier. Calling Aparajita a bad omen after everything she has endured shows just how far this feud has gone.

The final moment, where Sudha tries to slap Aparajita and gets stopped, is a satisfying confrontation. And the precap promises an even bigger turning point with Rakshit choosing to leave the house with Aparajita.

The episode delivers emotion, confrontation and a much-needed stand for Aparajita’s self-respect. The purification track may be uncomfortable, but at least the story is making the hypocrisy behind it impossible to ignore.
