Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 2nd October 2026 Written Update: Myra Runs Away as Kabir Refuses to Break Up With Her
The 2nd October episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai takes the Myra-Kabir conflict to another level as Krish continues to manipulate Myra against Armaan and Abhira. With her parents deciding to send her to New Zealand, Myra feels that they are controlling her life rather than understanding her. Kabir, on the other hand, refuses to give up on their relationship.
Krish Manipulates Myra Against Armaan and Abhira
The episode begins with Krish questioning Myra about Kabir. He asks whether Kabir reached the hospital on time after the accident. Krish deliberately brings up the incident to provoke Myra and gets her talking about what happened.
Myra reveals that Armaan ignored Kabir when he was injured on the road and only took her to the hospital because he wanted to impress her. Krish then asks whether there was more drama at the hospital.
Myra tells him that Nandani spoke to her separately and did not create any scene. Krish takes the Damanis’ side and tells Myra that Armaan only loves Abhira. He makes her believe that Abhira and Armaan are simply trying to control her rather than respecting her choices.
Myra becomes more convinced that her parents do not understand her. Krish is pleased to see his manipulation working.
Poddars Discuss Myra’s Future
Abhira and Armaan discuss their plan with the Poddars. Vidya strongly disapproves of their decision and questions Kaveri for supporting them.
Kaveri makes it clear that Abhira and Armaan do not need anyone’s permission to make a decision concerning their daughter. Sanjay supports the couple as well, pointing out that making such decisions is never easy.
Kajal also stands by Abhira and Armaan. Madhav takes a more cautious view and says that Myra’s future cannot be decided simply because of what is happening with Kabir. Manish points out that Myra is currently thinking only about Kabir and is unable to see the larger picture.
The family continues discussing the difficult decision, with everyone having their own concerns about what should happen next.
Krish then tells Myra that Abhira and Armaan have already taken a decision for her. Myra is stunned and asks how her parents can decide something so important without even discussing it with her.
Abhira Feels She Has Failed as a Mother
Armaan and Abhira discuss their plan to send Myra to New Zealand. They believe that getting her away from the current situation may help her step back from the relationship and think more clearly.

Myra struggles with the decision but gets ready to leave with Armaan. Armaan asks her not to create any drama and simply cooperate with them.
For Myra, though, this decision feels like another attempt to take control of her life.
Kajal Hurts Tanya With Her Changed Behaviour
Tanya decides that she wants to meet Myra. She tries to approach her, but Kajal stops her.
Kajal speaks rudely to Tanya and does not allow her to meet Myra. Tanya is left hurt and confused by Kajal’s sudden change in behaviour.
She cannot understand why Kajal, who was previously supportive, is now treating her differently.
The family tensions are clearly spreading beyond just Myra and Kabir, with relationships inside the house also getting affected by the ongoing crisis.
Kabir Refuses to Break Up With Myra
Nandani later meets Kabir at the hospital. Kabir looks for his mobile phone, and Raghav brings him a new one.
Raghav then tries to convince Kabir to break up with Myra. Given everything that has happened, the family believes ending the relationship may be the easiest way to bring the situation under control.
Kabir refuses.
He makes it clear that he does not want to break up with Myra.
His decision shocks Samar, Raghav and Nandani. Despite the pressure from everyone around him, Kabir remains determined to stay with Myra.
The episode ends with both sides refusing to give up. Abhira and Armaan are determined to protect Myra by sending her away, while Myra and Kabir are equally determined to stay together.
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Precap
The precap takes the drama several steps further.
Armaan asks Myra to stay close to him. A group of dancing people suddenly interrupts them, creating the perfect opportunity for Myra to escape. She slips away, leaving Armaan’s hand.
Later, Abhira finds a letter written by Myra. In it, Myra tells her parents not to look for her and not to call the police because she has willingly run away.
The shock does not end there. Kabir also goes missing from the hospital.
Review
This episode does a good job of showing how quickly Myra’s resistance turns into a full-blown rebellion. Krish’s manipulation makes the situation worse, while Abhira and Armaan’s New Zealand decision gives Myra another reason to believe that nobody is listening to her.
The strongest part is Kabir refusing to break up despite pressure from the family. The real fireworks, though, are saved for the precap: Myra runs away and Kabir disappears too. At this point, the Poddars are going to have a very serious problem on their hands.
