Sayonee 4th October 2026 Written Update: Maya Humiliates Saanvi as Simi Gets a Grand Welcome
The episode begins with Maya questioning Saanvi about her family background. Saanvi honestly tells her that she is an orphan. Instead of showing any sympathy, Maya uses the information to humiliate her.
Maya asks Saanvi whether she ever wondered why her mother abandoned her in an orphanage. Saanvi refuses to accept that her mother simply left her without a reason.
Maya tells her that perhaps her mother was not within her limits, but Saanvi should make sure that she does not cross her own limits while staying in Maya’s house.
The harsh words deeply hurt Saanvi.
Maya says she likes people who can accept the truth and warns Saanvi not to repeat the mistakes her mother supposedly made.
Saanvi quietly asks Maya for permission to leave.
Saanvi Breaks Down Before Naani
Saanvi cannot forget Maya’s words. She recalls the humiliating conversation and breaks down in tears.
Naani notices her emotional state and asks whether she met Maya.
Saanvi holds Naani’s hand and cries as she explains what happened. She tells Naani that Maya sees her as a symbol of whatever mistake her parents made.
Saanvi also says Maya believes she might repeat the same mistakes.
Naani is furious when she hears this. She reminds Maya that Indra did not raise Saanvi to behave in such a manner and questions how Maya could humiliate a girl simply because of her circumstances.
Maturi takes advantage of the situation and further provokes Maya against Saanvi.
She complains that Saanvi has turned her mother against her.
Maya refuses to accept that she has done anything wrong. She firmly insists that everything she told Saanvi was the truth.
Maya then directly questions Saanvi about her parents.
She tells Saanvi that if she can provide even one piece of information about her parents, Maya will stop commenting on her background.
Saanvi is left thinking about Indra’s promise and the lie she was told about her past.
Maya once again points out that Saanvi is an orphan and argues that she has every right to question her birth. She asks a painful question: if Saanvi’s parents did nothing wrong, why did they abandon her in an orphanage?
Naani cannot tolerate Maya’s attitude anymore.
She tells Maya that she is speaking as though she has never made a mistake in her own life.
Maya responds by asking Saanvi to pack her belongings and leave.
Naani immediately refuses to leave with Maya.
Simi Returns Home
Just as the tension reaches its peak, Simi arrives to meet Naani.
Maya happily tries to hug her, but Simi ignores her and goes straight to Naani instead. She embraces Naani and asks why she was not informed about Raj’s death.
Simi wonders whether Naani now considers her an outsider.
Naani denies it and shares her grief with Simi.
Soni asks Naani to return home with her, and Naani eventually agrees.
Simi then greets everyone and shakes hands with Saanvi. Maya clearly dislikes seeing the two interact.
Maya quickly shifts the attention to Simi and announces that she has arranged a puja to welcome her daughter back home.
The difference in Maya’s behaviour toward the two girls is impossible to miss.
Maya Criticises Saanvi’s Dress
Saanvi changes her clothes and comes outside.
Maya immediately finds another reason to criticize her. She comments on Saanvi’s tight dress.
Naani strongly objects to Maya’s attitude. She tells Maya that she is looking at Saanvi in the wrong way and points out that the dress actually suits her.
Naani lovingly tells Saanvi that she is like gold, and everything looks good on her.
She then advises Maya to change her way of thinking instead of finding faults with Saanvi.
Later, Maya brings Simi back home.
Kabir warmly welcomes Simi and gives Maya all the credit for making such beautiful arrangements for her return. Simi thanks her mother, while Maya openly expresses how much she loves her daughter.
Saanvi quietly watches the mother-daughter bond.
She admires the affection between Maya and Simi, even though she herself has just been made to feel unwanted.
Saanvi Gets a Special Blessing
Maya performs the aarti for Simi as the family welcomes her home.
In an unexpected moment, the flowers fall on Saanvi.
Saanvi takes this as a positive sign and places her right foot forward as she enters the house.
She looks around and admires the family’s bond. She is happy to see everyone celebrating together and is especially glad to see Naani surrounded by people who love her.
Yuvraj guides Saanvi toward Naani’s room.
Naani asks Saanvi to help her get up, and Saanvi immediately assists her.
Maya notices Aryan trying to get close to Saanvi and sends him away.
Naani then asks Saanvi to ask Simi for a new dress.
Maya is clearly unhappy with the suggestion.
She finally warns Saanvi to remain inside Naani’s room while the puja takes place.
Saanvi quietly agrees.
The episode ends with Saanvi once again choosing silence despite being repeatedly targeted by Maya.

This episode makes Maya’s double standards painfully obvious. She can welcome Simi with a grand puja, affection and pride, but the moment she looks at Saanvi, she finds another reason to question her upbringing, her clothes and even her birth.
The most emotional part is Saanvi’s reaction. She does not fight back or create a scene. She simply breaks down in front of Naani, and that makes Maya’s words feel even crueler.
Naani, thankfully, refuses to let Saanvi stand alone. Her defence of Saanvi brings some much-needed warmth to an otherwise uncomfortable episode.
The flowers falling on Saanvi during Simi’s welcome also feel significant. Maya may not want Saanvi to feel like she belongs, but the episode keeps giving her little reminders that she cannot simply be erased from this family.
And Maya’s obsession with Saanvi’s dress is already reaching exhausting levels. The precap promises that she is about to take that criticism several steps further.
