The episode begins on a lighter note as the family discovers that a rat has somehow entered the house. The sudden discovery creates panic, with everyone trying to figure out where it is hiding.
Sachin, naturally, decides to take charge. Armed with a stick, he bravely sets out to find the rat while another family member nervously follows him.
In the darkness, Sachin spots someone hiding behind a door and assumes that the rat has finally been cornered. He swings the stick, only to realize that he has attacked a person instead.
The misunderstanding leaves everyone shocked and soon turns into a hilarious blame game. Instead of catching the rat, the family ends up blaming one another for the chaos.
The Family Struggles With Dinner
After the commotion settles down, another problem comes up.
Everyone is hungry.
The children ask for bread, butter, jam and milk, while the elders complain that there is nothing proper to eat. The discussion soon turns toward the family’s plan to eat light food and sleep early.
But hunger has its own plans.
The family eventually agrees that there is little point in going to bed hungry and decides to prepare something to eat.
The light-hearted family moments give everyone a temporary break from the tensions surrounding them.
Morning Brings More Chaos
The next morning, the consequences of the previous night’s late schedule become obvious.
The children and adults struggle to wake up on time because nobody has managed to get enough sleep. Getting the children ready for school becomes another challenge.
The family also has to decide what should be packed in everyone’s tiffin.
With each person having different food preferences, choosing one dish becomes surprisingly difficult. Eventually, they settle on upma so that everyone can eat the same thing.
Roshni and the others help prepare the breakfast, giving the family another busy morning filled with the usual household chaos.
But beneath all this normalcy, Roshni is clearly worried.
Sayali Decides to Leave
Roshni becomes tense when she learns that Sayali is planning to leave the house for an important task.
Sayali tries to clear the air about their earlier misunderstanding. She tells Roshni that she never intended to hurt her and does not want there to be any bitterness between them.
Despite that, Sayali remains firm about leaving.
She has somewhere important to go, and nothing seems capable of changing her mind.

Roshni Panics Over Philomena
Sayali is actually heading to meet Philomena.
The moment Roshni realizes this, she contacts Philomena.
Roshni desperately asks her not to reveal anything to Sayali.
Philomena reminds Roshni that their deal is still incomplete. She makes it clear that she cannot continue hiding the truth forever.
Roshni becomes increasingly desperate.
She begs Philomena to leave before Sayali reaches her.
Philomena is now caught between keeping her promise to Roshni and finally revealing the truth that Sayali has been searching for.

Sayali Refuses to Leave Without Answers
Sayali finally reaches Philomena’s house.
She repeatedly knocks on the door, but there is no response.
Sayali quickly realizes that Philomena may be deliberately avoiding her.
But she refuses to give up.
Instead of walking away, Sayali decides to wait outside.
She calls out to Philomena and tells her that she knows she is inside.
Sayali also assures her that if she is afraid of revealing the truth, she will protect her.
Her determination is clear.
Sayali tells Philomena that she will not leave until she gets answers to her questions.
The episode ends with Sayali waiting outside Philomena’s house, determined to uncover the secret that Roshni has been trying so desperately to hide.
Udne Ki Aasha 4th October 2026 Episode Review
This episode cleverly moves from typical family comedy to a much more serious mystery.
The opening rat drama gives the episode its lighter side, especially with Sachin confidently going after the rat and accidentally attacking a person instead. The food and morning chaos also bring back the familiar family flavour of the show.
But the real story begins once Sayali decides to meet Philomena.
Roshni’s panic is the biggest giveaway. Her desperate attempt to stop Philomena from speaking only makes the mystery around their deal more suspicious. Sayali, thankfully, is not backing down.
The best part is that Sayali does not simply knock once and leave. She knows Philomena is hiding something, and she is prepared to wait until she gets the truth.
Now Philomena has nowhere to run. Roshni can keep asking her to stay silent, but Sayali is literally sitting outside her door waiting for answers.
