Anupama 6th October 2026 Written Update: Gautam Plans to Separate Mahi and RV as Anupama Sets New House Rules
Today’s episode of Anupama begins on a light-hearted note as Kinjal tells Anupama that she is still glowing because of Anuj’s love.
Anupama smiles and says that Anuj has painted her with his love, so she will continue glowing forever. Kinjal teases her about her romantic mood.
Kinjal then shares some good news. She is expecting an experienced professor to join her coaching institute. Anupama congratulates her and wishes her success.
She also advises Kinjal not to put too much pressure on herself. Anupama reminds her about the importance of teamwork and tells her that she does not need to handle every responsibility alone.
Pakhi Wants Ishani to Meet RV
The mood changes when Ishani and Pakhi get into an argument.
Anupama and Kinjal soon learn that Pakhi wants Ishani to meet RV. Pakhi is determined to make the meeting happen and keeps forcing Ishani to listen to her.
Ishani refuses.
Anupama asks Pakhi to focus on her work instead, but Pakhi tells her not to lecture her because she is not in the mood.
Pakhi explains that she is worried about Ishani repeating the mistakes she made in the past. She does not want her daughter to make the same choices.
Pakhi says Ishani wants to marry Banku, but she believes Banku is not the right person for her.
Anupama tries to make Pakhi understand that she cannot force Ishani to make a decision according to her wishes.
Pakhi remains unconvinced.
Anupama can only hope that RV does not become the reason for another storm in the family.
Prem and Rahi Praise RV’s Business Strategy
Meanwhile, Prem and Rahi thank RV after their business sees significant growth.
They praise RV’s strategy and acknowledge the role he has played in improving their business.
Prem then asks RV about his full name.
RV gives a rather playful response, saying that his full name as well as his half name is simply RV.
Mahi interrupts their conversation.
RV then asks Prem and Rahi whether they would mind if he invited Mahi to the café.
Prem reminds him that RV is also a partner and can invite whoever he wants.
Mahi joins RV and discusses business matters with him.
RV then reveals that he wants to celebrate his sister’s birthday and is looking for a temple where he can take her.
Mahi decides to accompany him for the celebration.
RV says that he wants to celebrate the birthday alone, but the conversation leaves Prem and Rahi thinking about the possibility of Mahi and RV becoming a pair.
Rahi, though, has another concern.
She worries that Gautam could create trouble between them.
Gautam Decides to Separate Mahi and RV
Their concern soon proves justified.
Gautam complains to Vasundhara about Mahi and RV. He claims that Mahi is deliberately trying to make him jealous by flirting with RV.
Vasundhara refuses to entertain his complaints.
She tells Gautam to forget Mahi because she is no longer his wife.
Gautam reminds her that their divorce is still in process.
Vasundhara firmly puts him in his place. She reminds Gautam of his status and tells him that he should not forget that he means nothing to her.
She also warns him to stop misbehaving with Rahi.
Vasundhara makes it clear that if Gautam continues troubling Rahi, she will call Anupama, who will deal with him and throw him out of the house.
Gautam is furious.
He feels that Vasundhara is finally showing her true colours and decides that he will not spare her.
He then makes another plan.
Gautam decides to separate Mahi and RV before they become too close.
Anupama Worries About Her New House
Later, Anupama visits the construction site and starts dreaming about her new house.
The moment is filled with hope as she imagines the home she is trying to build.
But the manager quickly brings her back to reality.
He reminds Anupama that she has to pay the EMI on time. If she fails to make the payment, the bank could place her in the defaulter list.
Anupama remains confident.
She says that Ansh will never allow them to reach such a situation and assures the manager that the EMI will be paid on time.
Her determination shows that she is not prepared to let financial difficulties stop her from building the future she has imagined.
Anupama Sets New Rules at Home
Back at home, Pakhi and Paritosh order far too many things.
When the bills arrive, Anupama refuses to pay them.
Prerna also points out that they cannot afford to cover all the expenses.
Ansh immediately offers to pay the bills himself.
Anupama stops him.
She makes it clear that he cannot keep taking responsibility for everyone.
Anupama announces a new rule for the household.
From now on, everyone will contribute towards the household expenses.
That includes Pakhi and Paritosh.
Anupama firmly tells them that if they refuse to contribute, she will stop providing them with food and will also charge them for the expenses they create.
Her decision leaves no room for arguments.
Anupama has spent enough time carrying everyone else’s responsibilities, and she is now determined to make every adult in the family understand the value of financial responsibility.
The episode ends with Anupama standing firm on her decision while Gautam secretly prepares to create trouble in Mahi and RV’s growing equation.

Anupama’s new household rule is easily one of the strongest moments. She finally stops Ansh from paying everyone’s bills and makes Pakhi and Paritosh understand that being adults also means contributing to the home. Anupama handing out financial reality checks? About time.
Mahi and RV’s growing comfort is also becoming noticeable, and Gautam immediately sensing a threat makes his next move predictable but potentially troublesome.
The real excitement, though, is saved for the precap. Anupama discovering Saavi’s picture and realizing RV is Digvijay’s son could turn the entire RV track upside down.
