Sayonee 7th October 2026 Written Update: Maya Insults Saanvi’s Character as Aditya Stands Up for Her
The 7th October 2026 episode of Sayonee takes Saanvi through another emotional confrontation with Maya. While Saanvi continues trying to win the family over with her genuine care for Sukumani, Maya refuses to accept her presence in the house. This time, Maya goes a step further by questioning Saanvi’s character and insulting her background, leaving her completely heartbroken. Aditya, though, refuses to let Saanvi face the humiliation alone.
Saanvi Misses Indra
The episode begins with Saanvi sitting with Indra’s photograph and crying.
Overwhelmed by grief, she begins sharing her feelings with him as though he is right there beside her. In her imagination, Indra advises her not to hurt anyone and reminds her that she needs to win the family’s hearts through love.
He also reminds her that these people are her family now and asks her not to forget that.
Saanvi becomes emotional while imagining Indra giving her this advice. She hugs him tightly, unable to hold back her tears.
At that moment, Sukumani tells Saanvi that whenever she misses Indra, she should come to her.
Saanvi is startled when Sukumani switches on the light and she realises that she has been standing there.
She honestly admits that she thought she was talking to Indra.
Sukumani understands her pain and reassures her. She tells Saanvi that she can look at her as her Indra if that gives her comfort. She also praises the way Indra raised Saanvi before asking her to come and have dinner.
The moment gives Saanvi some much-needed emotional support.
Mindi Warns Saanvi About Maya
Later, Mindi sits down for dinner with Saanvi.
Their conversation soon turns towards Maya. Mindi makes a few comments about Maya, but Saanvi immediately defends her.
Mindi warns Saanvi that Maya does not spare anyone who answers back to her. She advises Saanvi to be careful around her.
Mindi then says that Kabir Sir is different because he is an honest person who judges situations based on what is right and wrong.
She also comments about Yuvraj, saying that he is not a good person and spends most of his time on his laptop while girls remain busy watching reels.
Saanvi asks Mindi to stop gossiping about everyone.
Mindi explains that she tolerates everything only because she needs to support her child’s education. Otherwise, she would not continue working in the house.
The conversation gives Saanvi another glimpse into how difficult life can be for the people working around Maya.
Saanvi Is Thrilled to Hear She Looks Like Maya
Later, Maya goes through pictures of the models.
Megna notices Saanvi’s photograph and praises her appearance. She points out that Saanvi’s facial features are remarkably similar to Maya’s and even says that Saanvi looks just like her.
Saanvi is surprised when she hears this.
Instead of feeling uncomfortable, she becomes extremely happy.
For Saanvi, being told that she resembles Maya feels special because she desperately wants Maya to accept her. She looks at herself in the mirror and admires her reflection, clearly delighted by the comparison.
It is an innocent moment for Saanvi, who still seems hopeful that Maya may eventually see her differently.
Unfortunately, that hope does not last long.
Aditya Praises Saanvi in Front of Maya
Soon after, Aditya brings Sukumani to the dining table.
Maya immediately asks him why he has brought her there and questions where Saanvi is.
At the same time, Saanvi is busy arranging the dishes.
Sukumani insists that Aditya sit beside her and have breakfast with them.
Aditya deliberately begins praising Saanvi in front of Maya. He tells Sukumani that her skin has started glowing ever since Saanvi began taking care of her.
Sukumani happily agrees.
She praises Saanvi and says that Saanvi takes wonderful care of her. She even points out that nobody has ever spent as much time with her as Saanvi does.
According to Sukumani, Saanvi is genuinely a good girl.
Maya finally admits that Saanvi is doing her job properly.
Aditya immediately catches the significance of the statement and tells Maya that he is glad she has finally acknowledged Saanvi’s efforts.
He adds that Saanvi was the right choice to take care of Sukumani.
But Maya makes it clear that she is not prepared to overlook everything else.
Maya Questions Saanvi’s Character
Maya insists that Saanvi should go back to wherever she came from because she does not belong in their house.
Saanvi overhears the conversation and is visibly hurt.
Aditya notices her standing there and immediately questions Maya.
He asks what Saanvi has done wrong and why Maya is speaking about her in such a manner.
Maya, instead of backing down, attacks Saanvi’s background.
She reminds everyone that Saanvi is an orphan and claims that she has seen many girls like her. According to Maya, such girls try every possible way to secure their position inside a household.
She goes even further by suggesting that Saanvi might manipulate the men in the family to achieve that goal.
Maya specifically brings up Aryan and Yuvraj and questions what would happen if Saanvi tried to lead either of them on.
She says she cannot take such a risk.
The words completely break Saanvi.
Maya is no longer merely objecting to Saanvi working in the house. She is questioning her character based purely on her background.
Unable to listen any further, Saanvi leaves the room.
Aditya Gives Saanvi Much-Needed Support
Saanvi breaks down after hearing Maya’s words.
She is clearly devastated that someone she wants to be accepted by could think so poorly of her.
Aditya follows her and apologizes on Maya’s behalf.
He tells Saanvi not to allow Maya’s words to make her feel small. He reminds her that she knows her own worth and should never judge herself through somebody else’s opinion.
Aditya says that he knows Saanvi’s true character.
He also reminds her that everyone except Maya can see the kind of person she really is.
Saanvi does not need to prove herself to anyone, according to him.
Aditya assures her that he believes in her and will continue supporting her.
His words give Saanvi some emotional strength at a time when she desperately needs it.
Saanvi Still Thinks About Sukumani
Despite everything that has happened, Saanvi does not allow her anger to affect Sukumani.
She later calls a medical shop to order medicine.
Aditya notices this and praises her for thinking about Sukumani even after everything she has just gone through.
Saanvi simply says that Sukumani has done nothing wrong, so there is no reason for her to take her anger out on her.
She explains that she considers Sukumani her own Naani.
Saanvi then thanks Aditya for standing beside her.
Her response once again shows the difference between how Maya sees her and who she actually is. Rather than retaliating after being insulted, Saanvi continues doing what she believes is right.
Maya Refuses to Help Mindi
Later, Mindi approaches Maya with a request.
She asks Maya for an advance on her salary because she needs money.
Maya refuses to help her.
Kabir overhears the conversation and advises Maya to help Mindi, but Maya refuses to listen to him.
Soon, Saanvi notices that Mindi is crying.
She asks Mindi what has happened, and Mindi finally shares her problem with her.
Saanvi listens to her situation, setting up another conflict with Maya.
Considering Saanvi’s nature, it becomes clear that she is unlikely to simply stand by while Mindi struggles.

In the upcoming episode, Maya questions Mindi about how she got the money.
Saanvi steps forward and admits that she gave Mindi money from her own savings.
Maya is furious because Saanvi has broken her rules.

Saanvi pleads with Maya to take Mindi back and makes a shocking offer. She says that she is ready to quit her own job if that is what it takes to save Mindi’s position.
