The Bigg Boss 20 house begins the day on a lighter note as Yung compliments Uditi on her omelettes. The simple compliment soon turns into teasing when Amrapali notices Yung blushing.
Amrapali Teases Yung About Uditi
Amrapali asks Yung why he is blushing and starts teasing him about Uditi. Love joins Amrapali in pulling Yung’s leg.
Yung, though, quickly explains that he is not blushing because of Uditi. He says that he is actually missing his girlfriend.
The playful conversation gives the housemates a brief break from the tension that has been building between several of them.
The mood changes when Bigg Boss announces the captaincy task.
Bigg Boss Announces the Captaincy Debate Task
Bigg Boss explains that Aasif will take charge of a special news-debate task.
The captaincy contenders will be called in pairs for three different rounds. In every round, the housemates will have to debate on a given topic, with some participants speaking in favour of a particular contestant while others argue against them.
The winners of the respective rounds will become captaincy contenders.
Bigg Boss also gives Aasif a major advantage. If he successfully conducts the entire debate task, he will directly become a captaincy contender himself.
Aasif takes on the role of the debate host and the first round begins.
Round 1: Qazi Becomes the Topic of Debate
For the first debate, Aasif gives the housemates a topic connected to Qazi and the lollipop discussion.
He calls Kanika, Love, Gullu and Mary to participate.
Gullu and Mary are instructed to speak in favour of Qazi, while Kanika and Love have to argue against him.
Aasif asks the contestants to discuss whether Qazi uses respectful words while communicating with the other housemates.

Qazi says that he is not feeling well and therefore is not fighting at his full strength.
The argument also pulls Aman into the conflict.
Qazi accuses Aman of unnecessarily jumping into the fight, leading to another heated verbal exchange between Aman and Qazi.
The house once again finds itself divided amid the chaos.
Round 2: Is Aman a Flipper?
After the first round and the heated confrontation, Aasif moves on to the second captaincy debate.
This time, Uditi and Arishfa are called to one side, while Qazi and Mahhi are brought into the opposing group.
The topic is whether Aman is a flipper.
Aasif asks Uditi and Arishfa to speak in favour of Aman.
Qazi and Mahhi are asked to argue against him.
The contestants put forward their respective points, with each side trying to prove that its interpretation of Aman is correct.
After hearing the arguments, Aasif declares Uditi and Arishfa the winners of the second round.

After the task, Kanika, Yung, Scout, Aasif, Love, Uditi and Arishfa emerge as the captaincy contenders.
Amrapali is unhappy with the way the task was conducted.
She complains to Aasif and questions why she was not given an opportunity to participate in the debate.
The captaincy task therefore ends with several contestants happy about their qualification and others questioning whether everyone received a fair chance.
Uditi and Gullu Clash Over Kitchen Duty
Later, the housemates discuss their duties.
Scout refuses to perform any duty if he feels that other contestants are not doing their share of the work.
The discussion becomes particularly heated around the kitchen.
Uditi and Gullu get into an argument over the kitchen duty.
During the fight, Uditi calls Gullu a thief.
Gullu responds by saying that everyone in the house gets some kind of tag.
He then makes a personal comment about Uditi by bringing up her ex.
The remark immediately affects Uditi.
She becomes emotional after Gullu mentions her past relationship.
Gullu soon realizes that he has crossed a line.
He decides to apologize to Uditi for making the argument personal.
Uditi, though, is not ready to accept his apology and chooses to ignore him.
The fight therefore ends on an emotional note, with Gullu realizing that his words have genuinely hurt Uditi.

This episode delivers exactly what a Bigg Boss captaincy task promises: debates, alliances, accusations and, naturally, a fight that has very little interest in staying within the boundaries of the actual task.
Aasif gets an interesting position as the debate host, and the three rounds give several contestants a chance to put forward their opinions. Kanika, Love, Uditi, Arishfa, Yung and Scout all benefit from the task, while Aasif also earns his place among the captaincy contenders.
The biggest drama, unsurprisingly, comes from Qazi and Scout. Their argument keeps escalating until a simple debate becomes a full-blown confrontation. The allegations about pushing and spitting only add more fuel to an already explosive equation.
The Uditi-Gullu fight is more uncomfortable because Gullu crosses from gameplay into something personal by bringing up Uditi’s ex. His decision to apologize is a good move, but Uditi’s refusal to engage shows that some lines are better left uncrossed in the first place.
The ration precap looks even more explosive. Giving up the entire ration is not exactly the kind of sacrifice that gets you invited to dinner with happy housemates, so Love is clearly walking straight into another storm.
