Vasudha 8th October 2026 Review: Prabhat Walks Again As Phool Confesses Her Love For Dev During Samar’s Engagement

The latest episode of Vasudha delivers several major developments, and the engagement sequence finally brings Phool’s feelings for Dev into the open. At the same time, Prabhat’s remarkable recovery gives Chandrika and Vasudha a much-needed ray of hope, while Samar’s revenge plan faces its biggest threat yet.

Phool’s emotional struggle is at the heart of the episode. She openly tells Vasudha that she loves Dev and cannot understand why Vasudha is allowing her engagement with Samar to happen. Vasudha, forced to hide the truth about her own marriage, tells Phool that Samar is a good man and will keep her happy. It is a heartbreaking response because Vasudha knows Phool is making a decision based on a misunderstanding, yet she cannot reveal why she is deliberately pushing her away from Dev.

The situation becomes even more painful when Phool asks whether she should simply forget Dev. Vasudha tells her to go ahead with the engagement, leaving Phool devastated. The show effectively captures the emotional conflict here: Vasudha isn’t rejecting Phool’s feelings because she doesn’t care about her, but because she is trying to protect a much bigger family secret.

The episode then gives viewers a fantastic turning point with Prabhat’s recovery.

Vasudha notices Prabhat moving his hand and encourages him to get up and take the glass of water himself. Against expectations, Prabhat actually gets out of bed and walks. Chandrika arrives just in time to witness the incredible moment.

Her happiness feels completely earned after everything she has endured. Prabhat drinking water himself becomes a symbolic moment of hope for the entire family. Taking him to the temple and praying to Matarani adds an emotional layer to his recovery.

Tejan’s reaction is equally significant. Chandrika asks for her blessings and tells her that she only wants Prabhat to be safe. She even promises that nothing wrong will happen to Phool. Tejan’s blessing for Prabhat suggests that the bitter wall between the two families may finally be beginning to crack.

Prabhat’s return also creates a major suspense track because he remembers Birju’s involvement.

Birju becomes increasingly nervous when Prabhat does not immediately expose him. His decision to approach Prabhat and apologise shows how frightened he is of losing everything. Prabhat’s question about why Birju has not forgiven Chandrika yet is particularly powerful because it turns Birju’s own grievance back on him.

Then comes the episode’s biggest emotional explosion.

Phool finally refuses to stay silent. When Tejan comes to get her for the engagement, Phool cries and tells her that she loves Dev and wants to marry him.

Tejan is stunned, but instead of considering Phool’s feelings, she tells her to marry Samar because he is the man written in her fate. This is frustrating but consistent with the family’s current mindset. Phool is being treated as though her own choice has very little importance.

Her pain continues as she comes downstairs and sees Dev just as the ring ceremony is about to begin.

The engagement proceeds despite her heartbreak, and Phool and Samar exchange rings. Samar gets exactly the moment he wanted, but the atmosphere is far from celebratory. Phool is visibly unhappy, Dev and Vasudha know the truth, and Samar remains surrounded by people who do not understand his real intentions.

The most exciting part comes when Prabhat finally confronts Birju.

Prabhat sees him outside and says he is going to call the police. Birju immediately begs for forgiveness and asks him to consider Phool’s engagement before taking any action. This scene gives Prabhat an enormous amount of power and could finally bring justice for what happened to him.

At the same time, Samar receives a call from his fake parents and stops Phool before she can move forward. That interruption creates a perfectly timed cliffhanger.

Overall, this is a strong episode because several long-running tracks finally collide: Phool’s love for Dev, Samar’s engagement, Prabhat’s recovery and Birju’s guilt. The biggest emotional victory belongs to Prabhat, while the biggest tragedy is Phool being pushed into an engagement despite openly declaring that she loves someone else.

The episode also smartly keeps Samar’s danger alive. He may have secured the engagement, but Prabhat’s recovery has changed the game completely. If Prabhat decides to speak, Birju’s entire story could collapse—and that could have consequences for Samar’s carefully constructed revenge plan as well.

The one frustration is that Phool’s agency continues to be sidelined. She has finally said exactly what she wants, yet the adults around her continue making decisions for her. That makes the upcoming confrontation even more necessary.
