Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 8th October 2026 Written Update: Abhira and Armaan Search for Myra as Kabir Gets an Internship
The episode begins with Myra asking Kabir what happened to him. Kabir reveals that someone threw garbage on him. Myra is concerned and asks him to take a bath and freshen up.
Kabir decides to talk to Myra about what is happening in their lives. Udai and Purv understand that they need some privacy and step away, giving Myra and Kabir some time alone.
Kabir shares some good news with Myra. He tells her that he has managed to get an unpaid internship. Although it is not a paid opportunity, Kabir is happy that he has found a way to begin working and gain experience.
Myra also opens up about her own disappointment. She tells Kabir that she missed her entrance examination.
Instead of making her feel worse, Kabir consoles her. The two realise that both of them are going through difficult phases at the same time.
Myra and Kabir talk about their decision to marry and the condition attached to it. Myra reminds him that they cannot get married without first completing 30 days together.
Kabir surprisingly feels positive about the arrangement. He says that it is actually good because both of them will remain busy with their work and will get time to understand each other better.

Abhira Faces Pressure at Home
Back at the Poddar house, Abhira is under tremendous stress.
Sanjay tells her that the entire city now knows about Myra and Kabir. The situation has become a topic of discussion everywhere.
Manisha adds that even at the temple, they had to hear taunts because of what happened.
Krish also brings up Abhira’s recent confrontation at the toll plaza office and says that she created a scene there.
Abhira does not want to discuss Myra. She is already struggling emotionally and does not want the family to keep questioning her about the situation.
Instead, she decides to go and meet Armaan.
Armaan soon comes downstairs and immediately asks Abhira whether she has found Myra.
Abhira hides the truth from him.
She tells Armaan that Myra is in Jodhpur.
Armaan immediately decides that he will bring Myra back.
Abhira stops him from getting too stressed and asks him to take some rest. She does not reveal that she still does not know where Myra actually is.
Nandani Demands Kabir’s Return

Samar loses his temper and grabs Vasu by the collar.
Nandani intervenes and asks Vasu to go back. She then turns to Raghav and makes her position clear.
She tells him that he must bring Kabir back.
Nandani is so upset that she even threatens to leave the house if Kabir does not return.
The family is already breaking down emotionally over Kabir’s absence.
Just then, Vasu receives a call from Kabir.
He asks Kabir whether there is any possibility of him returning home.
Vasu tells him that Raghav and Nandani are constantly fighting and crying because they miss him.

Armaan Suspects Abhira Is Hiding Something
Armaan soon begins questioning Abhira.

Myra and Kabir Enjoy Their New Life
Kabir and Myra decide to have ice cream together.

Myra asks him whether he is genuinely happy with her.

This episode slows the pace a little and focuses more on the emotional consequences of Myra and Kabir’s decision. Their scenes work because neither of them is pretending that everything is perfect. Kabir has an unpaid internship, Myra has missed her entrance exam, and both have left behind families who are deeply upset with their choices. Yet they are trying to make their relationship work.
Myra watching Abhira’s video is one of the better emotional moments. It shows that running away has not erased the bond between them. She can enjoy her time with Kabir and still miss the woman who has stood by her.
Armaan, on the other hand, is getting increasingly suspicious of Abhira. Her attempt to protect him by hiding the truth is understandable, but secrets rarely stay quiet for long in the Poddar house.
The precap finally promises some emotional closure. Myra apologising and receiving forgiveness from Armaan and Abhira could bring the family back together, but the bigger question is whether everyone will genuinely accept Kabir and Myra’s decision.
