The next morning, Sneha takes care of Madhu’s diet. She asks her to have juice and dry fruits. She says she has to go to the Panchayat and will be busy.

She asks Madhu to take medicines on time. Madhu smiles. Shekhar comes and meets them. Purvi comes home and hides to see what is happening. Durgavati tells Shekhar that she was thinking about Madhu. She wonders what she will decide about Sahana. Sneha tells Madhu that everything will be okay now.

She asks Madhu to tell Shekhar the truth about her pregnancy. Durgavati asks Shekhar to apologize to Madhu and promise that he won’t keep a relationship with his mother, Vimla. Shekhar agrees to apologize to Madhu. He tells that it’s not an insult to bow down in love, but he can’t break his ties with Vimla. He says he is sure that Vimla isn’t wishing ill on Madhu. Durgavati gets upset. He defends Vimla. He says he can’t leave his mother. He leaves.

Madhu cries and goes to her room. Purvi stops Shekhar. She tells that she feels sad for him. Madhu doesn’t take a stand for Durgavati; she should have told him the big secret. He asks what secret. She says she is sorry. He asks her to tell him everything. She asks him to ask Madhu about it. She goes smiling. Sneha asks Durgavati to think about Madhu.

She cries and says Durgavati will do the same thing in the Panchayat as well and force her decision in Sahana’s matter. Durgavati asks her to shut up. Sneha tells that elders stop seeing the reality of life. She says Durgavati is being stubborn, and she won’t let her ruin Sahana’s life. Durgavati scolds her. Shekhar hears the announcement of the Panchayat. Ganga and Sahana also hear the same announcement.

Ganga asks Sahana to think well and take the decision. She says that if the divorce happens, then Sahana’s life won’t be easy; whatever Murli is doing is because he regrets his mistake and wants to save his marriage. She asks Sahana to give Murli another chance. Everyone gathers in the Panchayat. Manohar hears the people talking about Sahana’s divorce. Ganga and Sahana come there. They see Manohar. He smiles and blesses Sahana.

He tells that he came to stand by her. She asks what she should do. He asks her to do what her heart wants. She is the crown of her family, not a burden. He regrets that he was late in fulfilling his responsibility, but he is glad that she got values from Ganga. Sahana hugs him and cries. Murli and Brij come there.

Durgavati comes there with her family. Everyone greets her. Amarnath tells them that the Panchayat is called for Sahana and Murli’s matter, and Durgavati will take the final decision. Durgavati says she has kept the Panchayat on Murli’s request. She asks him what injustice happened to him and what he wants. Murli steps forward and says he did injustice to Sahana; he came in Kaushalya and Kusum’s word, who were following Indu’s plan.

He says Sahana ate the poisonous laddoo on the Teej eve, and he didn’t stay back to see if she was alive or dead; she kept a fast for him, and he accused her character. He cries and says Kaushalya brainwashed him and said Sahana is a bad-character woman; he trusted Kaushalya and did injustice to Sahana, but when he got to know the truth, he got the culprits arrested.

Durgavati scolds him. He says he wants to repent for his actions. She asks if he wants to apologize to Sahana. He gets on his knees and apologizes to Sahana. Durgavati says it’s a big thing if a man apologizes to his wife in front of the Panchayat, and he should be given a chance. Sahana looks on.

Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan Episode Review: Murli’s Public Apology Puts Sahana’s Future in the Balance

This episode finally gives the Sahana-Murli track the emotional confrontation it has been building towards, and the strongest part is that Murli is made to confront the consequences of his own choices in public. His admission that he trusted Kaushalya and Kusum over Sahana, despite everything she did for him, makes his regret feel more substantial than his earlier attempts to win her back.

His public apology is particularly effective because he does not try to shift the blame completely onto others. He admits that he accused Sahana of having bad character, abandoned her after she consumed the poisonous laddoo, and failed to even stay back to know whether she survived. Those are not small mistakes, and the episode rightly allows Sahana’s suffering to remain at the centre of the discussion.

Durgavati’s reaction is interesting too. She acknowledges the significance of a husband apologizing publicly before the panchayat and immediately sees it as a reason to consider giving Murli another opportunity. That creates the real conflict: does genuine repentance deserve another chance when the damage to a marriage has been this severe?

Sahana’s conversation with Manohar adds another emotional layer. His decision to stand beside her without telling her what to choose is perhaps the healthiest support she receives. Telling Sahana that she is the family’s crown rather than a burden reinforces the idea that her worth should not depend on whether she remains married.

The parallel Shekhar-Madhu track also creates useful tension. Shekhar’s refusal to sever ties with Vimla, despite agreeing to apologize to Madhu, shows that his conflict is far from resolved. Purvi discovering the pregnancy secret at precisely this vulnerable moment is a particularly dangerous development, because she now has information that could completely change several family relationships.

Sneha’s confrontation with Durgavati is another highlight. Her fear that elders can become so stubborn that they stop seeing the reality of a younger woman’s suffering fits naturally into the larger theme of the episode: who gets to decide a woman’s future?

Overall, the episode successfully raises the emotional stakes before Sahana’s final decision. Murli has finally said everything he needed to say—but whether an apology can repair broken trust is now entirely in Sahana’s hands.

Rating: 4.8/5

Murli has finally admitted his sins in public. Now comes the harder part: can Sahana forgive what he cannot undo?
