Sayonee 9th October 2026 Written Update: Saanvi’s Happiness Turns Into Heartbreak as Maya Insults Her
The episode begins with Maya agreeing to teach Saanvi how to use the wheelchair. She tells Saanvi that she will teach her this time and wonders why she did not simply search for the instructions online. Despite Maya’s slightly irritated tone, Saanvi is overjoyed that her mother is willing to personally teach her.
Maya takes Saanvi’s hand and patiently shows her how to operate the wheelchair. For Saanvi, the moment is far more meaningful than Maya realizes. She has always dreamed of having her mother hold her hand and teach her how to walk, just like a mother teaches her child. Now, even though the circumstances are completely different, Saanvi feels as though that childhood wish is finally coming true.
She watches Maya closely and wants to learn everything from her.
Maya soon notices that Saanvi is not concentrating properly and scolds her for getting distracted. Instead of feeling hurt, Saanvi simply smiles. She happily sits in the wheelchair and begins trying it out herself.
Maya questions what she is doing, and Saanvi innocently explains that she is only testing the wheelchair. Maya tells her to leave, but Saanvi continues looking at her with pure happiness. She is so emotionally overwhelmed by this small moment with her mother that even Maya’s irritation cannot spoil it.
When Maya realizes that Saanvi is staring at her, Saanvi quickly runs away.
Malini Notices Ritu Struggling to Adjust
Later, Malini returns home after shopping. Ritu immediately asks where she should keep the shopping bags. Before she can do anything, Malini’s husband takes the bags from her hands.
Ritu then offers to prepare tea, but Malini refuses, explaining that she does not drink tea at that time of the day. She asks her husband whether he had asked Ritu to make tea, but he says he did not.
Malini then tells Ritu to sit down.
Ritu obediently sits on the floor instead of the sofa. Malini immediately scolds her for doing so. She tells Ritu that she is not treating her unfairly and that Ritu needs to stop thinking of herself as a servant. Malini wants her to understand that she is part of the family and should behave accordingly.
Her husband tries to explain Ritu’s situation, telling her not to take Malini’s words too seriously. He points out that Malini simply does not know how to express her affection properly, even though she genuinely cares for Ritu.
That comment irritates Malini. She questions why he is commenting on her behaviour, leading to another argument between the couple.
Later, Ritu asks Malini if she can borrow her phone to call a friend. Malini agrees and hands it to her.
Ritu immediately calls Saanvi.
Saanvi Finally Feels Her Mother’s Love
The moment Saanvi hears Ritu’s voice, she excitedly shares what has happened. She tells Ritu that Maya is teaching her things just like she would teach a little child.
For Saanvi, this is an emotional dream.
She has spent so much time longing for her mother’s affection that even Maya’s scolding now feels precious to her. Saanvi tells Ritu that she can finally feel her mother’s love. She has decided that she will not complain about the taunts or the scolding because being close to Maya is more important to her.
In her eyes, even Maya’s harsh words have become something comforting.
Saanvi’s happiness touches Ritu. She is genuinely pleased that Saanvi is getting the love she has always wanted.
Ritu then opens up about her own situation. She tells Saanvi that she, too, has found a caring family and is beginning to experience the warmth of being loved and looked after.
Saanvi is delighted for her.
The conversation becomes a beautiful moment between the two friends, both realizing that they have finally found something they were desperately searching for — a sense of belonging.
Later that evening, Ritu falls asleep while sitting up. Malini notices her and gently wakes her.
Malini asks why Ritu is not sleeping in her bedroom.
Ritu explains that she is still not accustomed to such a comfortable lifestyle. She has spent years working at the orphanage and being constantly busy, so she needs some time to adjust to her new surroundings.
Malini softens.
She tells Ritu that this is her home now and she should do whatever makes her comfortable. It is a small gesture, but it shows that beneath Malini’s strict exterior, she does care about Ritu.
Saanvi Finds Another Reason to Stay Close to Maya
Later, Saanvi is working in the kitchen when she notices Maya entering.
Saanvi immediately comes up with an excuse to spend more time with her.
She pretends that she does not know how to operate the sterilizer machine and asks Maya to teach her.
Maya starts explaining the machine to her, while Saanvi secretly admires her mother.
For Saanvi, these ordinary moments are extraordinary. Every opportunity to learn something from Maya feels like a piece of the mother-daughter relationship she always wanted.
She is happy simply being around her.
Unfortunately, that happiness does not last.
Maya’s Words Shatter Saanvi
Later, Maya notices Simi crying alone.
She asks Simi whether she is missing Raj. Simi silently nods.
Maya advises her not to remain trapped in the past. She reminds Simi that Raj always wanted her to achieve something meaningful in life and encourages her to move forward.
Maya tells Simi that she needs to become bold and independent.
She even promises to take Simi to the company’s next major meeting so that she can learn how to stand on her own feet and handle things independently.
Saanvi happens to overhear their conversation.
At first, she simply listens.
But Maya’s next words completely destroy her.
Maya tells Simi that she should not become like Saanvi. She humiliates Saanvi by describing her as an overly emotional person who keeps using her painful past to gain everyone’s sympathy.
Saanvi hears every word.
The happiness she had been carrying all day disappears instantly.
Just hours earlier, she had been celebrating the smallest signs of affection from Maya. She had convinced herself that Maya’s scolding was actually another form of love. She had even told Ritu that she was willing to tolerate everything just to remain close to her mother.
Now she is forced to hear exactly what Maya thinks of her.
Saanvi is heartbroken.
She quietly walks away without confronting Maya.
Aditya Stands Up for Saanvi
Aditya soon notices Saanvi crying and asks her what happened.
Saanvi refuses to tell him the truth. She simply says that nothing is wrong.
Aditya is not convinced.
He realizes that something must have happened and eventually confronts Maya. He asks her directly whether she said something that upset Saanvi.
Maya immediately becomes defensive.
She snaps at Aditya and tells him not to interfere in matters that do not concern him. She says he has no right to question her and should mind his own business.
Aditya refuses to back down.
He reminds Maya that he brought Saanvi there, and because of that, he considers it his responsibility to make sure that she feels comfortable and safe.
His words make it clear that he will not simply stand by while Saanvi is hurt.
Maya does not respond.
She simply glares at him.
The episode ends on this tense note, with Saanvi once again carrying the pain of Maya’s words while Aditya begins to realize that there is much more going on beneath her silence.
Sayonee Precap: Saanvi Visits Velvet Company
In the precap, Saanvi visits Velvet company and feels extremely happy as she looks around the place.
Aditya invites her into his cabin.
At the same time, Maya appreciates Simi for successfully cracking a new deal. She asks Megna to bring the gift box from her cabin.
Megna checks for it, only to reveal that the gift box is missing.
Review
This episode does something interesting with Saanvi and Maya’s relationship. Saanvi is so desperate for her mother’s affection that she turns even Maya’s irritation into something precious. The wheelchair lesson and the sterilizer scene are particularly emotional because Saanvi is not really interested in learning those things — she simply wants reasons to stay close to her mother.
And that makes Maya’s later insult hurt even more.
Saanvi genuinely believes she is finally getting the mother-daughter bond she has dreamed about, only to overhear Maya reducing her pain to a tool for gaining sympathy. That is a brutal emotional reversal.
Aditya stepping in is also a welcome development. Saanvi may be trying to hide her tears, but someone finally notices them.
The missing gift box in the precap adds a small mystery to the next episode. Given the timing, it certainly does not feel like an innocent disappearance.
