Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 11th October 2026 Written Update: Myra Wants to Return Home as She Regrets Running Away With Kabir
The latest episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai brings a major emotional shift in Myra and Kabir’s journey. What initially feels like an exciting escape from their families begins to look very different once reality catches up with them. Myra falls ill, misses Abhira and Armaan terribly, and finally admits that she wants to return home. At the same time, Armaan and Abhira face harsh criticism from the Poddars for publicly appealing to Myra.
Myra Falls Sick While Staying Away From Home
The episode begins on a lighter note as Myra and Kabir try to prepare breakfast, only to end up burning the toast. Udai and Purv notice the burnt food and ask whether the two actually like eating burnt toast. Myra and Kabir decide that instead of serving the disaster, they should simply cook again.
Udai and Purv make it clear that they are not interested in the burnt toast. Instead, they ask Myra and Kabir to take a picture with it so they can remember the funny moment later. Purv asks them to smile as he takes the picture.
The mood changes when Kabir realizes that Myra has a high fever.
Kabir immediately becomes concerned and starts taking care of her. Being sick and away from home makes Myra increasingly emotional. She starts thinking about Abhira and Armaan and remembers everything they have done for her.
Myra looks at the locket Abhira and Armaan gave her, and the sight of it brings back a painful memory.

Myra admitting that she was wrong, regretting her cruel words to Armaan and Abhira, and recognizing that running away was immature feels like genuine character movement. Kabir reaches the same conclusion, which makes their decision to return home feel much more believable.
The Armaan-Abhira track is equally strong because they refuse to let society dictate how they handle their daughter’s crisis. Their public appeal may invite criticism, but emotionally, it is completely understandable.
