Anupama 12th October 2026 Written Update: RV Confronts Digvijay as Anupama Tries to Bring Peace

The Anupama episode brings a major confrontation between Digvijay and Ranvijay as old wounds resurface. While Banku finally contacts Anupama and assures her that he will return, Pakhi remains determined to separate him from Ishani and bring RV closer to her daughter. Amid all the tension, Anupama once again tries to play peacemaker, but the conflict between Digvijay and RV reaches a physical level.

Kinjal Questions Pakhi’s Approach

The episode begins with Kinjal questioning Pakhi about what kind of mother she is.

Pakhi defends herself, saying that daughters like Ishani, who threaten to end their lives, need a mother like her.

The two begin arguing, forcing Anupama to intervene and ask them to stay quiet.

Anupama then turns towards Ishani and tells her not to speak nonsense like Pakhi.

She explains that if Ishani continues threatening to end her life, everyone will start believing that Pakhi is right and Ishani is wrong.

Anupama makes it clear that taking such an extreme step is not the answer to a family disagreement.

She reassures Ishani that Banku will return.

Anupama then turns her attention back to Pakhi. She tells her that she needs to change her behaviour because even Hasmuk and Leela are beginning to lose patience with her.

Anupama warns Pakhi that the day their patience finally runs out, she could be left completely alone.

She asks Pakhi to be careful before she pushes everyone away.

Banku Finally Calls Anupama

Just when everyone is worried about Banku, he calls Anupama.

Banku explains that he needed some space and therefore left the house in a hurry.

Anupama understands his need for space and tells him that everyone needs some time away at certain points in life.

Banku assures her that he will return.

Anupama, though relieved to hear from him, also scolds him for leaving without telling anyone.

She tells him that Pakhi and Paritosh are like insects that will keep biting, and instead of running away from them, he should have simply shaken them off.

Her blunt advice makes it clear that Anupama wants Banku to stop allowing other people’s behaviour to dictate his decisions.

Banku feels guilty about leaving Anupama alone while she already has so much work to handle.

Anupama immediately tells him not to worry and asks him to come back.

She also asks him to call Digvijay and Ishani and let them know that he is safe.

While Banku’s return brings some relief, Pakhi has no intention of giving up.

She thinks that before Banku comes back, she needs to bring RV and Ishani closer.

Anupama and Digvijay Share a Light Moment

Meanwhile, Prem thinks about hurting Rahi, while Rahi and Prem continue to feel awkward around each other.

Elsewhere, Anupama experiences pain and finds herself thinking about the café and everything she has been dealing with recently.

She decides to keep working and starts painting the café wall.

Digvijay asks her to come down.

Anupama says that Banku would normally have handled the painting, but he is currently missing.

Digvijay again asks her to come down, telling her that he will finish the work.

Anupama says she would have taken Digvijay’s help earlier, but he had gone to sleep early.

She also thanks him for talking to Ishani and trying to make her understand the situation.

Digvijay says that he simply tried to make Ishani understand.

As Anupama starts coming down, some paint accidentally falls on Digvijay.

Instead of getting angry, the two end up laughing.

The small moment shows the comfortable bond they share, but it does not go unnoticed by everyone.

RV Questions Digvijay’s Bond With Anupama

Ranvijay confronts Digvijay and Anupama about their relationship.

He questions Digvijay about his bond with Anupama and asks whether he has replaced his mother with her.

The confrontation quickly becomes personal.

Ranvijay accuses Digvijay of having a poor upbringing and questions his values.

Digvijay refuses to accept the accusation and reminds him that he and his mother left him after Saavi’s death.

Ranvijay counters that Digvijay is trying to portray their upbringing as bullying.

Digvijay says that they were the ones who left him.

The argument becomes increasingly bitter as Ranvijay questions Digvijay’s character.

Anupama steps in and corrects Ranvijay.

She lectures him about what upbringing actually means and makes it clear that disrespecting someone does not become acceptable simply because there is a painful history behind it.

Ranvijay, consumed by anger, declares that he will destroy Digvijay.

Digvijay refuses to back down.

He tells Ranvijay that he wants to see what he can actually do.

The confrontation then turns physical.

Ranvijay grabs Digvijay by the collar.

Digvijay immediately grabs Ranvijay by the collar in return.

Prem Takes Digvijay’s Side

The situation becomes even more complicated when Prem blames Digvijay for the confrontation.

Rahi disagrees and says that Ranvijay is wrong.

Prem argues that Anupama should not simply listen to Digvijay. He insists that she should also listen to RV’s side of the story.

He stops Rahi from saying anything further.

Anupama, refusing to let the argument spiral further, tells Digvijay to go inside.

She then turns towards Ranvijay.

Anupama asks him to think about what his mother would feel if she learned about the way he behaved with Digvijay.

She tells Ranvijay to have some shame.

Digvijay, before leaving, gives Prem a warning.

He says that if RV can grab his own father by the collar in front of everyone, then he is capable of selling his dream in a second.

RV and Digvijay eventually go inside, but the tension between them remains unresolved.

Hasmuk Defends Anupama and Digvijay

Later, Paritosh tells Leela about the confrontation between Digvijay, RV and Anupama.

They discuss Anupama and Digvijay’s bond.

Hasmuk immediately takes the side of Anupama and Digvijay’s friendship.

Paritosh argues that Anupama may be able to handle RV, but the bigger problem is the Mathela brothers.

He believes Anupama is making a mistake by creating enmity with them.

Hasmuk questions what Leela and Paritosh can actually do apart from commenting on Anupama’s decisions.

He tells them that Anupama is capable of handling her own matters.

The discussion highlights the growing concern around Anupama’s increasing number of enemies.

Digvijay Apologises to Anupama

Later, Digvijay apologises to Anupama for RV’s behaviour.

Anupama reassures him that he should not worry.

She reminds him that she has already seen Rahi change, and therefore she believes that RV can also become a better person.

Anupama refuses to completely give up on him.

Her faith in people’s ability to change remains one of her strongest qualities, even when those around her believe she is being too optimistic.

Precap: Anupama’s Café Is Destroyed

The next episode takes a dangerous turn.

A group of goons warns Anupama to stop going against the Mathela brothers.

When she refuses to back down, they attack and destroy her café.

The Mathela brothers watch Anupama’s troubles unfold and appear to enjoy seeing her helpless.

The attack makes it clear that the conflict has moved beyond arguments and family disagreements. Anupama is now facing a direct threat to the place she has worked so hard to build.

Anupama 12th October 2026 Review

This episode does a good job of balancing the emotional Banku track with the much more explosive Digvijay-RV confrontation.

Banku’s phone call is an important relief after yesterday’s accident scare. His decision to leave because he needed space makes sense emotionally, but Anupama is right to call him out for disappearing without informing anyone. Her “shake them off instead of running away” advice is classic Anupama — blunt, practical and a little entertaining.

The Digvijay-RV confrontation is easily the episode’s main attraction. RV’s anger clearly comes from old wounds, but grabbing Digvijay by the collar takes the argument too far. Anupama stepping in and reminding him to think about what his mother would feel is an attempt to bring some perspective into a fight where everyone is operating from old pain.

Prem’s reaction is also interesting because he refuses to blindly support Anupama and Digvijay. That gives the conflict another layer instead of making the family automatically take one side.

The bigger concern, though, is the Mathela brothers. Anupama already has enough family drama on her plate, and now her professional life is being targeted. The café destruction in the precap raises the stakes considerably.

Overall, the episode works as a bridge between the personal family conflicts and the larger battle brewing around Anupama. Banku is coming back, RV is getting more aggressive, and the Mathela brothers are no longer content to simply threaten her.
