This episode is all about Rakshit standing firmly beside Aparajita, and honestly, his strongest moments have nothing to do with money.
Sudha keeps reducing Aparajita’s intentions to greed and luxury, but Rakshit finally gives her a completely different picture. He understands that Aparajita is not craving expensive things — she is craving love, family and relationships. His line about her being “greedy for love” is one of the episode’s strongest emotional points.
The kumkum scene is also beautifully symbolic. Rakshit using Aparajita’s kumkum as his own tikka and calling her his strength is a much more powerful declaration than another predictable romantic speech. He is essentially saying that he is carrying her with him into this new chapter of his life.
Sudha, unfortunately, goes too far.
Her anger is understandable from her perspective, but insulting Aparajita repeatedly and then cursing her marriage and motherhood crosses a completely different line. The child-related statement is particularly cruel because it attacks Aparajita at an extremely personal level.
