Bigg Boss 20 12th October 2026 Written Update: Ghee Sparks a Huge Fight as Aasif Nominates Mahhi
The latest episode of Bigg Boss 20 begins on Day 36, with the housemates getting used to the presence of the two new wild card contestants, Manish Goyal and Nakul Dhul. While the newcomers continue to settle into the house, the usual mix of friendships, teasing, food-related arguments and personal clashes keeps the atmosphere anything but peaceful. From Qazi and Nakul’s push-up challenge to a major fight over ghee, the day turns increasingly dramatic.
Love Talks About the Wild Cards
Love starts the day by talking about the new wild card entries. She says it is the first day for Manish and Nakul and she is curious to see how they spend their first full day inside the house.
Arishfa chats with Yung and jokingly says that they will do “love brushing.” Yung responds that his days are not going badly, keeping the conversation light.
Kanika approaches Nakul and asks him about tea as the new contestant continues getting to know everyone.
Qazi, Aasif and Yung also share a warm moment. Aasif and Yung share their eggs with Qazi and Yung tells him to get well soon because they still have plenty of fights left to have with him.
The mood turns playful when Qazi challenges Nakul to sit on his back while he does push-ups. Qazi tries to complete the challenge but fails. Nakul then reverses the challenge, sits on Qazi’s back and successfully performs the push-ups.
The new wild card clearly isn’t wasting any time making his presence felt.
Aasif Gets a Special Perk
Bigg Boss sends a special perk for the captain of the house, Aasif. He is given the benefit of getting his clothes ironed, along with a promotion for Snabbit.
Aasif happily thanks Bigg Boss for the perk.
Elsewhere, Mahhi, Qazi and Gullu discuss Nakul. Gullu jokingly says that Nakul’s brain is in his knees. Mahhi agrees with him, adding to the playful criticism of the new contestant.
Arishfa gives eggs to Qazi. Qazi later tells Manish that he feels Arishfa is giving him eggs to gain sympathy.
The conversations then move towards personal lives. Mahhi asks Amrapali about her relationship status. Amrapali says that she does not have a boyfriend. She talks about Dinesh Yadav and his married life during the conversation.
Gullu later asks Mahhi, Kanika and Qazi whether they think Amrapali is sensible. Kanika says Amrapali is not sensible when she gets involved in fights. Mahhi has a slightly different opinion. She says Amrapali can talk sense, but her behaviour gets affected when she is around her group.
Mahhi also asks Nakul whom he knows outside the house apart from Scout. Nakul says he has a rapper friend outside.
Aman Clarifies His Sexual Orientation
One of the more uncomfortable conversations of the episode takes place when Aman talks to Nakul.
Aman tells Nakul that Mumbai is very safe for girls. He also says that people there are modern and have accepted gay culture.
Nakul then directly asks Aman whether he is straight or gay.
Aman says that he is straight.
Nakul continues the conversation by asking whether Aman would ever want to try being with a man and what he thinks about gay people. He also brings up the subject of homophobia.
The discussion makes Aman visibly uncomfortable.
Later, Nakul tells Gullu and Qazi that he intentionally used the word “homophobic” during the conversation because Aman seemed offended. Nakul also says that he teased a boy that day.
The interaction adds another layer of tension to Nakul’s entry, especially since he appears comfortable pushing contestants into conversations they may not be prepared to have.
Kanika and Arishfa Clash Over Ghee
Food once again becomes the reason for a major argument inside the Bigg Boss house.
Kanika asks Aasif to give her some ghee. Aasif says he cannot be biased while distributing the food.
Arishfa then comments that Kanika is very selfish when it comes to food.
Kanika openly accepts that she is selfish about food, but Arishfa continues calling her selfish. Gullu takes Kanika’s side, leaving Arishfa upset.
The disagreement quickly turns into a heated verbal fight between Kanika and Arishfa.
Things get worse when Arishfa takes the ghee bottle and says she will not give it to Kanika. Nakul supports Arishfa’s position, which further irritates Kanika.
Kanika then says that she will not cook breakfast if she does not get the ghee.
Nakul and Kanika get into another verbal argument over the issue. Qazi questions why Kanika is giving so much importance to ghee, but Kanika remains firm about her demand.
Aasif eventually asks Arishfa to give the ghee to Kanika because she is sleeping hungry. Arishfa agrees to give it but places a condition before handing it over.
Manish praises Aasif for bringing the situation under control and ensuring that Kanika gets something to eat.
What starts as a small request for ghee turns into yet another full-blown Bigg Boss house battle. At this point, the contestants could probably turn a spoon into a nomination-worthy controversy.
Qazi and Nakul Continue Their Challenge
Qazi later tells Love and Mary about his challenge with Nakul. He proudly says that he challenged Nakul to do push-ups and won.
The playful rivalry between the two continues as the housemates discuss their earlier challenge.
The atmosphere takes another serious turn when Mahhi complains to Qazi that Aasif was not distributing the food equally.
Qazi agrees with Mahhi.
Mahhi becomes emotional while talking about not getting proper food. Kanika and Qazi support her as the situation becomes more serious.

The ghee argument is probably the most entertaining part because it escalates from a simple request into a proper house war. Kanika, Arishfa and Nakul all refuse to back down, while Aasif eventually has to step in and settle the matter.
Nakul is also proving to be an interesting wild card. He is already comfortable challenging Qazi, taking sides and asking contestants uncomfortable questions. He has entered the house with very little hesitation, which could make him an important troublemaker in the coming days.
The nomination twist at the end gives the episode a stronger finish. Aasif gets considerable power, and his decision to nominate Mahhi immediately puts her under pressure.
With the next episode teasing clashes between Yung, Kanika, Mary, Arishfa, Scout and Qazi, the nomination task clearly has plenty more chaos left to unleash.
