Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 12th October 2026 Written Update: Mihir Returns as Amar Sanghvi and Rejects Tulsi
The latest episode of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi brings the most heartbreaking twist in Tulsi and Mihir’s story. While Anupam asks Shobha to keep the truth about Mihir hidden from Tulsi, Sid makes a shocking discovery while secretly investigating Tripti. The biggest shock comes when Mihir finally appears before Tulsi and the Virani family, only to claim that his name is Amar Sanghvi and that he does not know Tulsi. His return, which should have been a moment of celebration, turns into an emotional nightmare for the entire family.
Anupam Asks Shobha to Hide the Truth From Tulsi
The episode begins with Anupam insisting that Shobha should not tell Tulsi anything about Mihir yet. He understands how delicate the situation is and does not want Tulsi to suffer another emotional shock before they understand what has actually happened to Mihir.
Shobha agrees to keep quiet, though hiding such a massive truth from Tulsi is clearly difficult for her.
Soon, Tulsi calls Shobha on a video call and asks about Mihir. Shobha struggles to control her emotions as she speaks to her. She carefully avoids revealing the truth and lies about the situation.
Shobha asks Tulsi to pray that she gets the opportunity to meet Mihir soon. Tulsi remains hopeful, completely unaware that Mihir is already much closer than she could imagine.
Anupam then reassures Shobha that he will put everything right. He is even prepared to distance himself from his own sister, Mandira, if that is what it takes to bring the truth to light.
His determination makes it clear that Anupam is no longer willing to remain silent if Mandira is involved in hiding the truth about Mihir.
Sid Finds Amba Virani’s Name in Tripti’s Documents
On the other side, Sid quietly investigates Tripti.
He secretly takes photographs of some legal documents belonging to her and starts going through the papers. What he finds leaves him stunned.
The documents contain the name Amba Virani.
Sid immediately realises that this could be an important clue. The discovery raises several questions in his mind, and he begins wondering what connection Amba has to the matter he is investigating.
Sid is not aware that Tripti has already started noticing his unusual behaviour.
Tripti becomes suspicious of him, making Sid’s investigation much more dangerous. He now has to be extremely careful because one wrong move could expose the fact that he is secretly looking into her affairs.
The documents appear to be hiding something important, and Sid may have stumbled upon a clue that could eventually lead the family closer to the truth.
Mihir Finally Appears Before Tulsi
The biggest moment of the episode arrives when Mihir suddenly appears before Tulsi.
Tulsi is completely stunned.
After spending so much time searching for Mihir and desperately hoping that he would return, she finally sees him standing in front of her. Shobha had even travelled to the USA looking for him, making his sudden appearance all the more emotional.
The entire family is equally shocked. Karan, Gautam, Damini and Nandini cannot believe that Mihir is finally standing before them.
For Tulsi, this should have been the happiest moment of her life.
Then sindoor accidentally falls on Mihir, creating an emotionally loaded moment because of the relationship he shares with Tulsi.
Tulsi approaches Mihir and tries to touch him, almost as though she needs to convince herself that he is really there.
But Mihir steps back.
Tulsi is immediately confused.
She asks him what happened and tries to make him remember their relationship. Instead, Mihir looks at her and asks the one question Tulsi never expected to hear from him.
He asks who she is.
The entire family is left speechless.
Mihir Claims He Is Amar Sanghvi
Tulsi cannot understand what she is hearing.
The man standing before her is Mihir, the husband she has loved for years, yet he looks at her like a stranger.
Karan and Gautam are equally stunned by his behaviour. They try to make sense of the situation, but Mihir refuses to recognise any of them.
The biggest shock comes when he introduces himself as Amar Sanghvi rather than Mihir Virani.
His declaration changes everything.
This is no longer simply about Mihir being distant or upset. He appears to have completely rejected the identity and relationships that the Virani family knows.
Tulsi refuses to accept it.
She tells Mihir that she is his wife and introduces the children and other family members standing before him. Karan and Gautam also try to convince him that they are his sons and that he belongs to the Virani family.
They remind him that he is the owner of the house and desperately try to trigger some memory of his life with them.
Mihir remains unmoved.
Instead, he gives them an explanation that is almost impossible for the family to accept.
Mihir Says He Has Returned Only to Return an Idol
Mihir reveals that he has come to the house for an entirely different reason.
He claims that he has only returned to give back an idol that was exchanged at a shop.
The family is devastated.
They had spent so long searching for Mihir, imagining the moment when he would finally return home. They had hoped his return would end their painful wait.
Instead, the man they have desperately searched for is physically standing in front of them and refusing to acknowledge them.
Tulsi is left completely shattered.
Mihir again insists that his name is Amar Sanghvi, not Mihir Virani. Tulsi cannot understand how the man who shared her entire life could suddenly deny their marriage and their relationship.
The family begins wondering whether Mihir has lost his memory or whether something much more serious happened during his absence.
The situation becomes even more painful when Mihir makes it clear that he does not consider Tulsi his wife.
He claims that his real wife is someone else.
Tulsi is heartbroken.
She spent so long hoping for Mihir’s return, only to discover that the reunion she imagined may not exist anymore. Mihir is alive, but the person who has returned seems completely different from the man she remembers.
Mihir Makes Shocking Allegations Against Tulsi
The upcoming episode takes this shocking development even further.
Mihir tells Rohit and Parth that they are the children of his son Karan. He then makes a devastating accusation against Tulsi.
He claims that Tulsi killed Karan.
Mihir also alleges that Tulsi tried to kill him and that he somehow survived.
These accusations leave Tulsi shattered.
She never expected Mihir to return home carrying such hostility towards her. The woman who spent so long waiting for her husband is now being accused by the very man she believed would finally understand her pain.
The Virani family is left struggling to process the allegations.
Mihir refuses to recognise Tulsi as his wife and continues insisting that his real wife is someone else. His changed identity as Amar Sanghvi raises even more questions about what happened to him during his disappearance.
Mandira’s Entry Raises More Questions
Just when the family is struggling to deal with Mihir’s shocking accusations, Mandira makes an unexpected entry into the house.
Her arrival at this critical moment immediately raises suspicion.
Anupam has already shown that he is prepared to take a difficult stand against his own sister if necessary. Now, with Mihir returning as Amar Sanghvi and making serious allegations against Tulsi, Mandira’s connection to the situation becomes even more important.
Why has Mihir changed his identity?
What happened to him during his absence?
Why does he believe that Tulsi tried to kill him?
And why does he insist that another woman is his real wife?
These questions now hang over the Virani family.
Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 12th October 2026 Review
This episode finally delivers the Mihir return everyone has been waiting for, but it refuses to make the reunion easy. In fact, it turns what should have been Tulsi’s happiest moment into one of the cruelest twists of the track.
The Amar Sanghvi identity is the real game-changer. Mihir being alive was already a massive revelation, but having him stand in front of Tulsi and ask, “Who are you?” takes the emotional damage to another level.
Tulsi’s helplessness is what makes the episode work. She has spent so much time waiting for Mihir, only to find that his body has returned while his memories, identity and emotional connection appear to be completely different.
Sid’s discovery involving Amba Virani adds another mystery on the side, while Mandira’s entry at the end makes the whole situation even more suspicious.
The biggest question now is not simply where Mihir was. It is who turned Mihir into Amar Sanghvi and why.
The track has officially moved from reunion drama to a full-blown identity mystery, and that makes the upcoming episodes very difficult to ignore.
