Anupama 14th October 2026 Written Update: Anupama Takes on the Mathelas as Pakhi and Mahi Clash Over RV
Anupama Compares the Mathelas to Mahishasur
The episode begins with Anupama drawing a powerful comparison between the Mathelas and Mahishasur, the demon defeated by Goddess Durga. She declares that just as the Goddess destroys evil, the Mathelas will also have to face the consequences of their actions. Anupama makes it clear that she will not allow them to escape accountability for the trouble they have caused.
Digvijay is impressed by Anupama’s determination. He tells her that Goddess Durga has chosen her to fight evil and believes she is capable of bringing an end to the injustice. He also admits that Anupama continues to surprise him with her courage.
Anupama, though, reveals that she is not as fearless as she might appear. She confesses that she was frightened when she saw the goons. The situation genuinely scared her, but whenever she is in pain or feels helpless, she remembers her mother. Her mother’s words give her the strength to face difficult circumstances instead of allowing fear to control her.
Curious about this influence, Digvijay asks Anupama what lesson her mother taught her.
Anupama explains that she does experience fear, but she does not always show it. She knows that if she allows herself to lose courage, the people who depend on her for support may also become discouraged. She therefore tries to remain strong, even when she is struggling internally.
Her words reveal the emotional burden behind her determination. Anupama is not claiming that fear does not exist; she simply refuses to let it become the reason she gives up. Her resolve to confront the Mathelas reflects that belief, and Digvijay recognises the strength she draws from her mother’s teachings.
Anupama and Digvijay Discuss Navratri
As their conversation continues, Anupama and Digvijay discuss the upcoming Navratri celebrations. Anupama explains how enthusiastically Gujaratis celebrate the festival, saying that their energy seems to double during Navratri.
She also talks about the Shah family, whose excitement becomes even more intense during the festive season. For Anupama, Navratri is not merely about rituals and celebrations. It is a time associated with devotion, courage, and the triumph of good over evil.
The conversation allows Anupama and Digvijay to spend some time together. Their interaction also creates a contrast between the festive atmosphere they are discussing and the serious fight Anupama is preparing to wage against the Mathelas.
Their peaceful moment is interrupted when RV arrives with Mahi and begins showing off. Digvijay grows concerned about Mahi’s involvement with RV. He does not seem convinced that RV is the right person for her and worries that Mahi may be making a mistake by choosing him.
Digvijay asks Anupama to make Mahi understand that RV is not a suitable choice. He admits that he has been unable to make Mahi see the problem himself and hopes Anupama might be able to get through to her.
Anupama is now caught between her own responsibilities and the concerns of those around her. While she is determined to fight injustice, she must also deal with the complicated relationships developing within the family.
Prem Advises RV to Resolve His Differences With Digvijay
Elsewhere, RV suggests that Prem open a café in Salgonda. He believes the location offers a promising business opportunity because Goa attracts international tourists. According to RV, opening a café there could bring in good earnings and help Prem build a successful venture.
Prem listens to the proposal but soon turns the discussion towards RV’s relationship with Digvijay. He asks RV whether Digvijay also owns property in Goa. RV clarifies that the property he is talking about belongs to him.
The conversation prompts Prem to reflect on the conflict between RV and Digvijay. Rather than automatically supporting RV’s position, Prem suggests that Digvijay may not be entirely wrong.
Prem draws from his own experience with Parag. He explains that his relationship with Parag was once affected by similar issues and that his ego kept him away from his father. Looking back, Prem understands how misunderstandings and pride can damage a relationship when neither person is willing to take the first step towards reconciliation.
He therefore advises RV to clear the misunderstanding with Digvijay before the situation becomes too serious. Prem wants RV to consider the possibility that continuing the conflict could lead to regret later.
Prem does not force his opinion on RV. He tells him that he does not have to follow the advice, but he should at least think about it privately and decide what he truly wants.
His words leave RV with something to consider. Instead of continuing to focus only on his disagreement with Digvijay, he is encouraged to reflect on whether his pride is preventing him from repairing their relationship.
As RV processes the conversation, he notices Saavi’s bracelet. The sight catches his attention, leaving the significance of the bracelet open as the episode moves forward.
Anupama Prepares Fasting Food for Navratri
Back with the family, Prerna asks Anupama whether they will be eating sabudana and other foods permitted during the Navratri fast. Anupama explains the different dishes and fruits that can be consumed while fasting.
She then decides to prepare falahaar for the Shah family, making arrangements for the festive meal. Her willingness to take care of everyone continues even as she faces personal stress and the threat posed by the Mathelas.
Leela, though, has little patience for the preparations. She tells Anupama to cook quickly before the Mathela goons break her arms and legs. Her remark reflects the fear surrounding the family’s situation, but it also comes across as unnecessarily harsh when Anupama is already trying to manage everything.
Anupama asks Leela to speak nicely, at least during Navratri. The festival is supposed to be a time of devotion and positivity, and Anupama does not want the household to be filled with bitterness.
Her request, though, does not prevent another argument from developing. Pakhi and Prerna refuse to observe the fast. Pakhi goes a step further and taunts Anupama, saying that fasting will not earn her a place in heaven.
The remark turns a discussion about religious observance into another personal attack. Anupama has been making an effort to prepare the family’s festive food, yet Pakhi chooses to criticise her instead of appreciating the effort.
Pakhi and Mahi Fight Over RV
While Pakhi continues expressing her opinions, Ishani ignores her and speaks directly to Anupama. Anupama takes Ishani’s side, which further irritates Pakhi.
Pakhi accuses Anupama of trying to ruin Ishani’s life. She insists that she will fix RV’s alliance with her own daughter, making it clear that she sees RV as the right match for Ishani.
Anupama and Pakhi begin arguing over the matter. Pakhi remains convinced that RV is perfect for Ishani and refuses to accept Anupama’s position.
The situation takes another turn when Mahi intervenes. She announces that she has chosen RV for herself, challenging Pakhi’s attempt to arrange his alliance with Ishani.
The disagreement quickly becomes personal. Pakhi and Mahi confront each other, and their face-off turns ugly as they bring up each other’s past. Instead of discussing RV’s suitability or considering what the situation means for the people involved, they resort to using old grievances against one another.
Their argument exposes how quickly the family’s concerns turn into personal rivalries. Both women are so determined to defend their own positions that they lose sight of the larger issue.
Anupama finally loses her patience. She scolds Pakhi and Mahi, calling them stupid for turning the situation into such an ugly confrontation. She demands that both women apologise to each other and put an end to the fight.
Neither is willing to back down. Pakhi refuses to apologise, and Mahi also stands her ground. Their stubbornness frustrates Anupama, who is trying to make them understand that continuing the fight will only worsen the situation.
Anupama then tells Mahi and Pakhi to shut up their mothers. Her sharp remark reflects her exasperation with the way family members keep interfering, provoking one another, and escalating the conflict instead of resolving it.
The episode ends with the disagreement unresolved. RV’s place in Mahi’s life, Pakhi’s plans for Ishani, and the growing hostility between the two women leave Anupama with yet another family problem to handle.
Precap
Anupama welcomes Goddess Durga and looks forward to celebrating Navratri with enthusiasm. Her happiness takes a painful turn when she learns that nobody is supporting her in her fight against the builder.
Feeling overwhelmed and alone, Anupama breaks down. Just when she believes she has been left to fight the battle by herself, someone arrives and assures her that she stands with her.
The identity of this person and the support they offer could prove important in Anupama’s struggle against the Mathelas.
Review
This episode balances Anupama’s fight against injustice with the familiar family conflicts that continue to complicate her life. Her conversation with Digvijay is one of the stronger moments because it reminds viewers that courage does not mean being fearless. Anupama admits that she was scared, yet she continues to fight because she refuses to let fear decide the outcome.
Prem’s advice to RV also adds a meaningful emotional layer. His experience with Parag gives him a reason to recognise how pride can destroy relationships, and he urges RV to think before the distance between him and Digvijay becomes permanent.
The family drama, on the other hand, becomes repetitive when Pakhi and Mahi turn their disagreement over RV into a contest of past grievances. Anupama’s frustration is understandable, although telling them to shut up their mothers is unlikely to settle the matter for long. At this point, everyone seems determined to win an argument rather than listen to one another.
The most intriguing development comes in the precap. Anupama’s fight against the builder appears to leave her isolated, but the arrival of someone willing to support her promises a fresh turn. With Navratri symbolising the victory of good over evil, the timing could hardly be more fitting.
