She immediately clarifies that she has no knowledge of the transaction and has not knowingly participated in any illegal activity. The caller, though, accuses her of being involved in money laundering and warns her that the matter is serious.
Madhavi tries to explain that she is only a student who has been earning money through an online affiliate marketing opportunity. She tells the caller about the website and the link through which she was asked to promote products in exchange for payment.
