Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 14th October 2026 Written Update: Myra Confesses Her Mistake to Arman and Abhira, but Kabir Remains a Mystery
Vidya Questions Myra as Arman Defends His Daughter
The episode begins with Vidya bringing up Myra’s decision to stay with a boy for three days. She questions Arman, asking whether the family cannot ask Myra for an explanation about her actions. Vidya believes the situation needs to be addressed, but Arman strongly disagrees with the way she is approaching it.
Arman tells Vidya that she cannot question Myra when her behaviour is making the girl uncomfortable. He accuses Vidya of being more concerned about the family’s reputation than Myra’s well-being. For him, the priority should be understanding what Myra has experienced rather than judging her based on where she stayed or whom she accompanied.
Arman makes it clear that Vidya has no right to question Myra’s character. He adds that Abhira and he will speak to their daughter themselves. The confrontation leaves Myra uncomfortable, and she eventually gets up and leaves the table.
Arman and Abhira are worried about Myra. They know that she has not been completely honest with them, but they also understand that pressuring her could make her withdraw further.
Kajal asks Vidya whether she is genuinely worried about Myra. Vidya explains that Myra stayed with a boy, and she fears Kabir might have done something wrong to her. She points out that Myra seems shaken and is refusing to answer questions. Vidya believes someone needs to address the situation instead of allowing it to remain unresolved.
Her concern may come from uncertainty about what happened, but her assumptions risk making Myra feel judged before she has even had the chance to explain herself.
Abhira’s Doubts Create Another Problem
The tension continues when Arman notices Abhira looking at Myra’s mobile phone. He questions what she is doing with it, prompting Abhira to explain that Myra has lied too many times for her to trust everything she says.
Abhira is struggling to understand why Myra has returned and whether she is hiding something about her relationship with Kabir. She wants to protect her daughter, but her suspicion is pushing her towards investigating Myra rather than allowing her to speak freely.
Arman points out the contradiction in Abhira’s behaviour. Vidya is questioning Myra’s character, while Abhira is secretly checking her phone. He tells Abhira that there is little difference between their approaches if both of them make Myra feel that she cannot be trusted.
His words make Abhira reflect on her actions. She begins to wonder whether Myra fought with Kabir and came back because something went wrong between them.
Arman, though, encourages her to step back. He asks Abhira to return Myra’s mobile phone and wait for their daughter to reveal the truth in her own time. He believes that Myra needs to feel safe enough to talk, not feel as though every move she makes is being monitored.
It is a sensible approach, but Abhira’s fears do not disappear so easily. She wants to believe Myra, yet the unanswered questions surrounding Kabir continue to trouble her.
Myra and Kabir Miss Each Other
While her parents struggle to understand her feelings, Myra is also missing Kabir. She remembers their trip to Mumbai, recalling the time they spent together. Kabir is missing Myra as well, and their memories make it clear that their connection has not simply disappeared because she has returned home.
At the same time, Mukti calls Myra and tells her that she will be coming back soon. The call adds another development to the family’s ongoing situation, although Myra’s emotional conflict remains centred on Kabir and her parents.
Arman and Abhira decide to spend some time with Myra by going on a bicycle ride together. They see this as an opportunity to reconnect with her without making her feel cornered.
Before speaking to Myra, they decide that they will stop the conversation immediately if she becomes uncomfortable. Their decision reflects Arman’s earlier advice: if they genuinely want the truth, they must first make Myra feel that she can speak without being judged.
The bicycle ride gives the family a chance to move beyond the tense atmosphere at home and address the emotional distance that has developed between them.
Myra Admits She Was Wrong to Doubt Arman
Abhira gently asks Myra whether she is still angry with her and Arman. Myra says that she is not. Her answer gives her parents an opening to understand what has been troubling her.
Arman and Abhira then ask why Myra is avoiding their eyes. Their question touches a vulnerable spot, as Myra has been carrying guilt over the way she behaved towards them.
Myra finally opens up. She admits that she hurt Arman and Abhira by doubting them. She specifically confesses that she questioned Arman’s actions because she believed he had failed to help Kabir when he was injured.
Arman explains that he did not see Kabir lying on the road. He wants Myra to understand that he did not deliberately ignore Kabir or refuse to help him. The misunderstanding had made Myra question her father’s intentions, but she now regrets allowing those doubts to damage their relationship.
Myra also acknowledges that she knows her father still has doubts about her. She understands that her own actions and the conflicting information she has given him have made it difficult for him to trust her completely.
She expresses regret for hurting both Arman and Abhira. Her confession allows the family to release some of the tension that has been building between them.
Arman and Abhira hug Myra, reassuring her through their affection. It is an emotional moment because the conversation finally allows them to reconnect without accusations or arguments. For a brief moment, the focus shifts away from suspicion and towards the love that still holds the family together.
Still, Myra’s apology does not answer every question about Kabir. Her parents may be relieved that she has acknowledged her mistakes, but the larger uncertainty surrounding her relationship remains.
Raghav Searches for Kabir
Elsewhere, Raghav is looking for Kabir. Nandani tells him that Kabir has gone to the office with Samar, but Raghav does not believe her explanation.
Bhairvi also continues to doubt Kabir. She asks the others to keep a close watch on him, fearing that he might run away with Myra if they stop paying attention. Her suspicion shows that the people around Kabir are not convinced that Myra’s return has put an end to the situation.
The concern is not entirely separate from what is happening in Arman and Abhira’s home. While Myra is trying to rebuild her relationship with her parents, others remain worried that she could still choose Kabir over her family.
Arman and Abhira also decide to ask Myra directly whether Kabir did anything wrong to her. They want to ensure that she is safe and that there is no part of her experience she is afraid to share.
Myra responds by defending Kabir. She says that he is a good boy, but adds that he is not better than her parents. Her statement reassures Arman and Abhira to some extent because she acknowledges the importance of her family.
At the same time, her words confirm that Kabir still matters to her. Myra is not claiming that she has stopped caring about him; she is trying to explain where her priorities stand.
Kabir’s Photograph Rekindles Abhira’s Suspicions
A little later, Kabir’s photograph falls out of Myra’s wallet. The sight of the photograph immediately raises Abhira’s doubts again.
She begins to wonder whether Myra is truly ready to leave Kabir behind or whether she might still run away with him. Abhira feels that Myra has been giving them different versions of the truth, making it difficult to know what she really wants.
She believes Myra’s feelings for Kabir are strong and will not disappear easily. From Abhira’s perspective, Myra’s return home does not automatically mean that she has decided to end her relationship with him.
Arman, though, chooses a different approach. He decides to trust Myra rather than allow his fears to dictate how he treats her. He has already seen the damage caused by repeated questioning, and he does not want the family to push Myra away again.
His decision creates a contrast between the parents. Abhira remains cautious, looking for signs that Myra may be hiding something, while Arman believes she deserves the chance to prove that she is ready to stay with them.
Myra Plans a Date for Her Parents
Wanting to make up for the worry she has caused, Myra arranges a date for Arman and Abhira. She feels guilty that her situation has kept them occupied and caused them to miss their own date.
Myra encourages her parents to spend time together and enjoy themselves. Her gesture shows that she is thinking about their happiness and wants to make things right after the emotional turmoil of the past few days.
Abhira, though, is still unable to put her suspicions aside. She worries that Myra may not be telling them the complete truth about her feelings for Kabir. The photograph has reinforced her belief that Myra’s attachment to him remains strong.
Arman asks Abhira not to spoil the date Myra has planned for them. He wants them to appreciate their daughter’s effort instead of turning another family moment into an interrogation.
For Arman, trusting Myra is now essential if they want to repair their relationship. Abhira is not yet convinced, but she is left to consider whether her doubts are helping Myra or only making it harder for her daughter to open up.
The episode ends with the family sharing a fragile moment of reconciliation, even as Kabir’s place in Myra’s life remains uncertain.
Precap
Arman asks Abhira to trust that Myra has returned for them and will not run away again. Myra, though, calls out to Kabir, reigniting Abhira’s doubts.
Abhira directly questions Myra. She asks that if Myra is so attracted to Kabir, why did she return home at all. She demands that Myra explain what made her come back, suggesting that the real reason behind Myra’s decision is still hidden.
Review
This episode gives Myra and her parents a much-needed emotional conversation. Her admission that she wrongly doubted Arman helps repair some of the damage, and the hug offers a welcome pause in the family’s ongoing conflict. Arman’s decision to return Myra’s phone and let her speak in her own time is also a more constructive way to approach the situation than treating every unanswered question as proof of deception.
Abhira’s doubts are understandable, given the conflicting stories and Kabir’s continued presence in Myra’s thoughts. Still, the photograph in Myra’s wallet is not proof that she plans to run away. The show deliberately keeps the audience guessing about whether Myra has genuinely chosen her family or is struggling to let go of Kabir.
Myra’s attempt to arrange a date for her parents is a sweet gesture, but it cannot resolve the central mystery. The precap promises another round of difficult questions, and the most important answer is still missing: what truly brought Myra back home?
