Mahadev And Sons 16th October 2026 Written Update: Mahadev Confesses to Monty’s Death as Rajji Stands Up to Sapna

Rajji Refuses to Leave Dheeraj Behind

The episode begins with Rajji making her position clear to Dheeraj. She refuses to let him intervene on her behalf, insisting that she is responsible for the situation and must face its consequences. Despite the uncertainty surrounding them, Rajji embraces Dheeraj and reassures him that she will continue standing by his side.

Their emotional moment is interrupted when Sapna signals the officers to take Rajji away. Rajji is visibly distressed as she is escorted away, leaving Dheeraj desperate to find a way to protect her and Priya.

Dheeraj then makes a proposal to Sapna. He offers to give a complete confession and help her locate Monty’s remains if she agrees to release both Rajji and Priya. Sapna makes it clear that she will consider releasing them only after hearing his full testimony. She wants the truth about her son’s death, and she is unwilling to make any concessions before receiving the answers she demands.

Sapna subsequently allows Priya to come out. Priya reunites with Dheeraj, giving them a brief moment of relief amid the ongoing crisis.

Before Dheeraj can explain the circumstances surrounding Monty’s death, Mahadev steps in and changes the course of the confrontation.

Mahadev Takes Responsibility for Monty’s Death

Mahadev embraces Dheeraj, Rajji, and Priya, showing that he stands firmly with his family. He then turns to Sapna and asks her to recognise the strength of their bond. His family members are prepared to protect one another, even when doing so means accepting serious consequences.

Mahadev declares that every member of his family is willing to take responsibility for the incident. He challenges Sapna to understand that she cannot uncover the truth by keeping Dheeraj, Rajji, and Priya trapped in the situation. If she genuinely wants answers, she must first agree to release them.

Dheeraj and Rajji immediately reject Mahadev’s attempt to take the blame upon himself. They do not want him to sacrifice his freedom or future for their sake. Mahadev, though, urges them to think beyond the present crisis and consider the lives that lie ahead of them.

He wants Dheeraj and Rajji to have the chance to build a happy future instead of allowing the tragedy to destroy their lives. His decision reflects a father’s determination to protect his children, even when they refuse to accept his sacrifice.

Rajji, however, cannot imagine moving forward with her marriage while Mahadev faces imprisonment. She makes it clear that she will not allow such an outcome to become her future.

Sapna watches their exchange with growing impatience. She dismisses their emotional declarations as a theatrical performance and questions why their testimonies keep changing. She is determined to get a clear answer about what happened to Monty and demands that Mahadev reveal the location of her son’s remains.

Mahadev Reveals the Truth About Monty’s Death

Mahadev apologises to Sapna for the delay in returning Monty’s remains. He explains that he became occupied with the wedding arrangements, which delayed the matter further.

The revelation overwhelms Sapna. She breaks down emotionally as she imagines the suffering Monty might have endured during his final moments. Her grief makes it difficult for her to listen calmly, but she demands a complete account of what happened.

Mahadev begins explaining the events that led to Monty’s death.

After learning about Monty’s alleged attempt to molest Rajji, Mahadev had instructed his children to avoid escalating the situation and return home. He wanted them to step away from the conflict rather than allow it to become more serious.

Still, Mahadev could not ignore what had allegedly happened to Rajji. Unable to reconcile himself with the harm caused to her, he decided to confront Monty at the restaurant.

The confrontation turned physical, and the situation spiralled out of control. During the altercation, Monty suffered a fatal fall. Mahadev explains that Monty’s death was accidental, even though the confrontation itself had serious consequences.

Having revealed the truth, Mahadev questions Sapna’s parenting. He contrasts her approach with his own values, challenging her to consider the difference between protecting a family member and acknowledging that person’s wrongdoing.

Yash then asks Sapna to release Rajji. With Mahadev having explained the circumstances surrounding Monty’s death, Yash hopes Sapna will stop holding Rajji responsible and allow her to leave.

Sapna refuses to accept Mahadev’s account. She cannot bring herself to believe the allegations against Monty and reacts furiously, throwing water in Mahadev’s face. She then openly denounces Mahadev and his entire family.

Her response makes it clear that the confession has not brought her the closure she wants. Instead, her grief and anger deepen the conflict between the two families.

Vidya and Narmada Challenge Sapna

Vidya arrives with her family and confronts Sapna over the insulting remarks she has made about Mahadev. She refuses to remain silent while Sapna humiliates him in front of everyone.

Narmada also steps forward and announces that they intend to pursue legal action. She explains that they have secured additional legal representation to ensure the authorities handle the matter appropriately.

The confrontation now extends beyond the question of Monty’s death. Mahadev uses the moment to address the broader injustice women face in society. He points out that people frequently speak about respecting and protecting women, yet those principles are often forgotten when a woman actually suffers harm.

He draws attention to Rajji’s experience, reminding everyone that she has repeatedly been made to bear responsibility for Monty’s actions. Rather than receiving understanding and support, she has faced accusations and pressure despite being the person who was allegedly wronged.

Sapna objects to Mahadev speaking negatively about Monty when her son is no longer alive to defend himself. She questions the moral standing of Mahadev’s family, arguing that they cannot present themselves as righteous when they were involved in the events that led to her son’s death.

Her grief remains at the centre of her response. Sapna sees Mahadev’s confession as an accusation against Monty, while Mahadev insists that the truth cannot be ignored simply because it is painful.

Rajji Finally Refuses to Carry the Blame

As Sapna continues questioning her character and her family, Rajji steps forward to defend herself.

Rajji refuses to accept Sapna’s judgement. She challenges the attitude that allows women to be blamed or questioned even when they are the ones who have suffered. She makes it clear that such thinking only prevents women from receiving justice and moving forward with dignity.

Most importantly, Rajji declares that she will no longer accept responsibility for Monty’s misconduct. She now understands that she is innocent and does not have to carry the burden of another person’s actions.

Her stand marks an important change in her journey. Rajji has spent considerable time being pushed into a position where she feels responsible for the consequences of Monty’s behaviour. Now, she refuses to let guilt or society’s expectations define her.

Sapna has no immediate response to Rajji’s words and falls silent. Rajji’s declaration challenges the very belief that has shaped the confrontation: that she must somehow answer for what Monty allegedly did.

The episode closes with tensions still running high. Mahadev has finally explained what happened at the restaurant, but Sapna refuses to believe his version of events. Rajji, on the other hand, has taken a firm stand for herself and refuses to let anyone make her feel guilty for Monty’s actions.

Precap

Sapna becomes visibly distraught when Monty’s remains are discovered. Rajji makes an earnest attempt to explain the situation to her, but Sapna remains unconvinced. She continues holding Mahadev and his family responsible for her son’s death, suggesting that the discovery will intensify the conflict rather than bring an end to it.

Review

Mahadev’s confession is the episode’s biggest turning point. His decision to take responsibility for the confrontation at the restaurant shows how far he is willing to go to protect his family. Yet his willingness to sacrifice himself does not make the truth any easier for Sapna to accept. Her grief is understandable, but refusing to hear anything against Monty prevents her from considering the full circumstances of his death.

Rajji’s confrontation with Sapna is the episode’s strongest moment. For once, she refuses to accept blame simply to keep the peace. Her realisation that she is not responsible for Monty’s alleged misconduct gives her character a welcome sense of agency.

The family’s united stand adds emotional weight, although Sapna’s refusal to believe Mahadev keeps the central conflict unresolved. The upcoming discovery of Monty’s remains is likely to intensify her anger, setting the stage for another difficult confrontation.
