Vasudha 17th October 2026 Review: Chandrika Stands Up For Hanumant As Samar Plots To Ruin Dev And Vasudha’s Wedding

This episode beautifully balances wedding festivities, emotional family moments and the threat of another conspiracy. While Dev and Vasudha’s Haldi celebrations bring everyone together, Chandrika’s growing affection for Vasudha and her family becomes the real highlight. The episode also makes it clear that the wedding celebrations may be filled with happiness, but Samar is not ready to let the Chauhans enjoy their peace.

The Mehendi ceremony offers some delightful romantic moments. Dev’s challenge to find his name in Vasudha’s Mehendi design brings out the playful side of their relationship. His determination to win, followed by Vasudha secretly helping him, makes the moment adorable. Divya’s complaint about cheating and Avinash teasing her over the lost bet add a dose of light-hearted fun.

The family members getting their loved ones’ names written on their hands is another lovely touch. Avinash and Divya, Prabhat and Chandrika, and Birju and Lajwanti all join in, creating a sense of togetherness that reflects how much the relationships have changed. After so much hatred and conflict, seeing these families celebrate together feels genuinely rewarding.

Chandrika’s promise to protect Dev and Vasudha from further sorrow is particularly touching. Her conversation with Vasudha, who still struggles to believe that she is finally getting married to Dev with the family’s blessings, captures the emotional significance of this moment. Chandrika’s assurance that nobody can stop Vasudha from becoming her bahu gives Vasudha the acceptance she has long deserved.

The Haldi ceremony takes the emotional storytelling a step further. Chandrika’s decision to give Savitri the first opportunity to apply Haldi to Vasudha is thoughtful and respectful. Although Vasudha’s mother is no longer alive, Chandrika recognises Savitri’s role in raising and supporting her. Savitri’s overwhelmed reaction makes this a particularly warm moment.

Hanumant’s turn becomes the episode’s most powerful sequence. He brings Dev a gold chain with sincere affection, while Dev’s happiness over the gift reflects the genuine bond between them. Hanumant’s simple gesture carries far more emotional value than an extravagant present because it comes from the heart.

Sarika’s cruel comments about Hanumant’s financial status are infuriating, especially when she mocks the chain for being too thin. Her behaviour exposes her misplaced sense of superiority and her inability to understand that a gift’s worth is not measured by its price.

Chandrika’s response is the episode’s biggest triumph. She openly praises Hanumant’s values and points out that his gift comes from his honest earnings. By challenging Sarika to give Dev something bought with her own hard-earned money, Chandrika exposes the emptiness of Sarika’s insults. The family applauding Hanumant makes the moment even more satisfying.

Santosh’s remark that Chandrika has won her heart confirms how much Chandrika has changed. She is no longer merely accepting Vasudha; she is actively defending the people who matter to her. This is a meaningful step in her redemption, and it strengthens the emotional foundation of Dev and Vasudha’s new beginning.

Still, Samar’s return to the picture threatens to spoil the celebrations. His conversation with Usha reveals that he intends to stop the wedding himself, and his warning that he will shock the Chauhans suggests another major obstacle is approaching. Meanwhile, Sarika’s continued insults show that not everyone has embraced the family’s newfound unity.

Overall, this is a satisfying wedding episode with strong emotional moments, playful romance and a deserved victory for Hanumant. Chandrika’s defence of Vasudha’s family is the standout moment, while Samar’s vow of revenge keeps the suspense alive.
