Seher Hone Ko Hai 20th October 2026 Written Update: Hussain’s Wife Reveals the Truth as Husna Targets Mahid

Mahid Allows Seher to Investigate Kausar’s Case

The episode begins with Seher asking Mahid to stop pacing around and get some rest. Mahid refuses, prompting Seher to tease him that being the city’s Mufti must mean he never gets tired.

Mahid finally agrees to let Seher investigate Kausar’s murder case alongside him, but he warns her to remain careful. Seher is delighted by his decision and wraps her arms around him from behind. Mahid asks her to change her clothes and join him, setting the stage for their investigation.

Their moment is interrupted when Azad and Zehath arrive unexpectedly. Azad is surprised to find Mahid there, and Zehath quickly slips a packet of cigarettes into Azad’s pocket.

Mahid notices the suspicious move and questions Azad. Azad tries to dismiss the matter, claiming it is nothing, but Mahid insists that he saw what happened and steps forward to check his pocket.

Zehath intervenes, challenging Mahid and asking who gave him the right to search Azad without a warrant. Azad introduces Mahid as his brother-in-law, explaining that he recently got married. Zehath recognises Mahid as his elder brother but is clearly unhappy to see him.

Already harbouring a negative impression of Mahid, Zehath argues with him and accuses him of wanting to control everyone. Mahid counters that guiding his loved ones and family towards the right path is his responsibility. He makes it clear that he will never allow his younger brother to go astray.

Zehath mocks Mahid, further aggravating the situation. When Seher arrives and asks whether Azad is Mahid’s friend, Mahid cuts her off and describes Azad as nothing more than a passerby. He sends Seher away before turning his attention back to Azad.

Mahid warns Azad to end his friendship with Zehath, orders him to return the cigarette packet and tells him that he never wants to see them together again. He then leaves in anger, making the tension between the brothers impossible to ignore.

Tahir and Nazima Search Insha’s Room

Elsewhere, Tahir and Nazima search Insha’s room for clues about her relationship with Haider.

Their investigation is interrupted when Insha walks in. Tahir manages to come up with an explanation to hide their real purpose, but Insha remains uneasy. She fears that they may eventually discover the truth about her relationship with Haider.

Although she escapes suspicion for the moment, the secret continues to hang over her.

Mahid and Seher Rescue Hussain’s Daughter

Later, Hussain’s wife finds herself in a frightening situation when a goon threatens her daughter with a knife. Mahid and Seher arrive at the house, and Mahid signals the woman to open the door.

Hussain’s wife is irritated by Seher’s repeated visits and scolds her for disturbing them. Yet she suddenly notices a burning smell and goes to investigate. Seher senses that something is wrong and becomes suspicious.

Mahid spots the man threatening Hussain’s daughter and questions Seher about why she has brought him there. He even wonders whether Seher hired the man to follow them. Seher denies having anything to do with him.

Realising that the child is in immediate danger, Seher approaches the situation. The goon threatens to kill the girl, but Mahid steps in and attacks him.

Although the man manages to escape Mahid’s custody, Mahid succeeds in rescuing the child. The incident reinforces the danger surrounding Hussain’s family and suggests that someone is desperate to prevent the truth from emerging.

Hussain’s Wife Reveals a Shocking Truth

Once the immediate danger passes, Mahid questions Hussain’s wife about her husband and his connection to Kausar’s murder.

She reveals that Hussain did not kill Kausar on behalf of a marshal, as previously believed. Instead, someone paid him to commit the murder.

The revelation leaves Seher heartbroken. The case is becoming more disturbing, and the truth suggests that the person responsible may be more powerful or influential than they initially imagined.

Hussain’s wife then discloses another crucial detail. Hussain had evidence against the real culprit, which explains why goons recently came to search her house. They failed to find what they were looking for.

Before his death, Hussain had asked his wife to keep a particular item safe until the right time. Someone would eventually come to collect it and give her money in return.

She excuses herself to retrieve the item, leaving Mahid and Seher waiting for a potentially important breakthrough.

When she returns, she gives Mahid a handle belonging to a cupboard. The unusual object becomes their latest lead in the investigation. Mahid realises that they must locate the cupboard to which the handle belongs, but he has no idea where to begin searching.

The clue could be the key to finding the evidence Hussain left behind and identifying the person who ordered Kausar’s murder.

Husna Tries to Use Zehath Against Mahid

At the same time, Husna meets Zehath and uses emotional conversations to capture his attention. Zehath falls for her tactics and agrees to help her.

Husna later meets Nawab and overhears him plotting against Mahid. She suggests that they use Zehath against Mahid by introducing him as Mahid’s brother.

Instead of appreciating her suggestion, Nawab and the others look down on Zehath and humiliate Husna for interfering in matters they consider none of her business.

They go further by declaring that women are not allowed to make decisions, openly displaying their chauvinistic attitude.

Husna refuses to tolerate their insults. She scolds them and walks away, but her interest in using Zehath against Mahid remains a worrying development.

With Zehath already resentful towards his elder brother and now under Husna’s influence, Mahid could soon face trouble from someone within his own family.

Precap: Husna Sets a Trap for Mahid

Husna continues plotting against Mahid. The police arrive and question him about his meeting with Bilal, revealing that they have found Mahid’s fingerprints at the location.

The discovery puts Mahid under suspicion and threatens to derail his investigation into Kausar’s murder. Will Husna succeed in turning the evidence against him?

Review

This episode moves Kausar’s murder investigation forward with a major revelation: Hussain was paid to kill her, and he left behind evidence that could expose the real culprit. The cupboard handle is an intriguing clue, even if Mahid now faces the challenge of finding the matching cupboard.

Seher and Mahid make a strong investigative team, while their rescue of Hussain’s daughter adds urgency to the story. Husna’s attempt to manipulate Zehath is another promising conflict, particularly because the brothers already have unresolved tensions. The precap raises the stakes further, with Mahid’s fingerprints potentially being used to frame him. The mystery is deepening, and the next step could put Mahid himself in serious trouble.
