Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 20th October 2026 Written Update: Abhira Supports Myra as Kabir and Myra Long for Each Other

The 20th October 2026 episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai brings fresh complications for Myra and Kabir. Vidya questions Myra about their time together, leaving her embarrassed and distressed. Abhira steps in to defend Myra, even as doubts about her honesty remain. At the same time, the Poddars and the Damanis unexpectedly find themselves at the same event, while Kabir and Myra struggle with their separation.

Vidya Questions Myra About Kabir

The episode begins with Vidya asking Myra whether she stayed in the same room as Kabir. Kaveri immediately warns Vidya, but Vidya continues raising her concerns. She points out that Kabir and Myra were alone together for three days without family members or relatives around them.

Myra stands embarrassed as Vidya presses her for an answer. Vidya asks her to tell the truth so that she can take her to the hospital on time. Myra is shocked by the question, and Abhira is equally taken aback by Vidya’s insinuations.

Vidya then asks Myra whether she lost control and something happened between her and Kabir. Unable to bear the questioning, Myra breaks down.

Abhira immediately takes Myra’s side and asks Vidya to stop asking such absurd questions. She says she trusts Myra and believes that if anything had happened, Myra would tell them herself.

Vidya accuses Abhira of trying to befriend Myra while running away from her own responsibility. Abhira acknowledges that Myra has embarrassed the family, but she refuses to accept that this gives everyone the right to humiliate her with inappropriate questions.

Myra is surprised to see Abhira defending her. At a moment when she feels cornered by her own family, Abhira’s support comes as an unexpected relief.

Abhira and Arman Decide to Trust Myra

Later, Abhira tells Arman that Vidya must stop questioning Myra in such a manner. Arman then reveals that the Damanis are also attending the Garba event, adding another complication to the situation.

Abhira worries that Myra might be hiding the truth from them again. Despite her doubts, she and Arman decide to give Myra another chance and trust her.

Myra asks Abhira to do her hair, creating a quieter moment between them. As Abhira helps her, she reflects on how Myra once put her family above everything else. Now, Kabir has also become important to her.

Abhira struggles to understand Myra’s changing priorities. She wants to trust her, yet she remains confused about which side of Myra reflects her true feelings. Their relationship appears to be moving towards reconciliation, but rebuilding trust will take more than a single conversation.

The Poddars and the Damanis Meet at the Same Event

Elsewhere, Bhairvi makes plans for Samar and Tanya’s wedding and discusses Kabir’s wedding as well. Tanya learns that Kabir has agreed to marry another girl, adding to the complications surrounding the relationships.

Ravi’s family attends the event, where the Poddars introduce Kabir to the girl chosen for him. Raghav asks Kabir and the girl to speak privately so they can get to know each other.

The situation takes an unexpected turn when the Poddars and the Damanis discover that they are attending the same event. Both families are shocked by the encounter.

Samar questions Bhairvi about whether the Poddars are tracking them, pointing out that they seem to appear everywhere the Damanis go. The Poddars, for their part, avoid the Damanis rather than engage with them.

With both families at the same venue, the possibility of an uncomfortable encounter between Myra and Kabir hangs over the gathering. Their families are already concerned about whether the two know that they are in the same place.

Kabir and Myra Miss Each Other

As Kabir spends time with the girl introduced to him, she asks about his photography hobby. Kabir reveals that he has stopped taking pictures, hinting at a change in his life and state of mind.

At the same time, Myra finds Kabir’s chain and is reminded of him. She misses him, unable to put aside her feelings despite being surrounded by her family.

Kabir learns that Myra is also present at the event. The knowledge leaves both of them missing each other, even as circumstances keep them apart.

Their longing adds emotional weight to the episode. Kabir has agreed to meet another potential bride, while Myra is trying to settle back into her family life. Yet neither seems able to forget the other.

Will they get a chance to meet, or will their families’ decisions push them further apart?

Abhira Confronts Krish Over Tanya

Elsewhere at the venue, Krish blocks Tanya’s way and brings up her marriage to Samar. Abhira intervenes when she sees him troubling Tanya.

She firmly tells Krish to stop bothering Tanya, warning that she will drag him out of the venue if he continues. Abhira then orders Tanya to leave the place.

Krish becomes furious with Abhira, setting up another clash between them. Abhira’s intervention makes it clear that she will not stand by while Tanya is pressured over her marriage.

Abhira and Arman Search for Myra

Later, Abhira and Arman look for Myra. They begin worrying that she may have gone to meet Kabir again, bringing their earlier concerns about her honesty back to the surface.

Arman asks Abhira to trust Myra rather than assume the worst. His reassurance encourages Abhira to give Myra the benefit of the doubt, even though she remains uncertain about what Myra might do.

As Abhira and Arman search for her, Myra and Kabir continue missing each other. With both families gathered at the same event and Kabir being introduced to another girl, their unresolved feelings threaten to complicate matters further.

The episode ends with Myra and Kabir still separated, while Abhira tries to balance her concern for Myra with her decision to trust her.

Precap

Myra performs Garba. Vidya admits that she was worrying about Myra unnecessarily, as Myra has returned to her family. Abhira asks Myra whether she will forgive her, and Myra hugs Abhira.

Review

This episode gives Abhira and Myra’s relationship an important emotional moment. Abhira does not blindly dismiss Myra’s mistakes, but she refuses to let Vidya humiliate her. That distinction makes her support meaningful, even as Abhira continues to question Myra’s choices.

The unexpected meeting between the Poddars and the Damanis creates suspense, while Kabir’s photography confession hints at how much his experiences have affected him. His meeting with another potential bride also raises the stakes for his relationship with Myra.

Krish’s confrontation with Tanya adds another conflict, although the episode’s strongest thread remains Myra and Kabir’s separation. Their mutual longing is clear, but the story needs to move beyond missed connections and reveal what they genuinely want from each other.

The precap offers a hopeful shift. Myra hugging Abhira could mark the beginning of reconciliation, giving their strained bond a chance to heal.
