Udne Ki Aasha 21st October 2026 Written Update: Kanika’s Shocking Entry Leaves Tejas’s Family Stunned as Laksh Demands Roshu

Sayali Struggles to Plan a Special Breakfast for Laksh

The episode begins with Sayali trying to decide what to prepare for Laksh’s breakfast. Since she is visiting her village home, she wants to make something special for her son with her own hands. She considers preparing poha but changes her mind, as she makes it quite frequently. She then thinks about making something with milk but remains unsure about Laksh’s preferences.

Riya continues to struggle with the decision until Sayali suggests preparing sabudana khichdi. The suggestion gives them an option to consider as they try to arrange a breakfast that the children will enjoy.

Tejas’s Family Calls a Baba to Perform an Exorcism

At Tejas’s house, the family brings a local baba, convinced that Tejas is affected by a supernatural presence. The baba insists that Tejas must be bathed in cold water and dressed in traditional clothes before the ritual can begin.

Tejas strongly objects to the entire idea. He insists that he is perfectly fine and has no need for an exorcism. His family, though worried about him, tries to make him cooperate with the baba. The situation grows increasingly chaotic as Tejas refuses to come outside.

Paresh attempts to drive away the supposed evil spirit while the family watches anxiously, expecting the ritual to reveal what is happening to Tejas.

The dramatic atmosphere takes an unexpected turn when the person behind the mystery finally appears. Instead of a supernatural presence, the family comes face-to-face with Kanika, Tejas’s student.

Kanika’s Arrival Leaves the Family Speechless

Kanika greets Tejas enthusiastically and reveals that she has come to see him. She introduces herself as his favourite student and openly expresses her attachment to him. Taking the drama even further, she declares that Tejas’s spirit has possessed her, though she quickly clarifies that she is speaking dramatically.

Her behaviour leaves the family bewildered, while Renu becomes furious with the way Kanika behaves and addresses her. Kanika refuses to be intimidated and repeatedly calls Renu names, turning the encounter into a heated verbal confrontation.

Tejas finds himself caught in the middle and desperately tries to control the situation. He explains to his family that Kanika is his boss’s daughter and that she has feelings for him. At the same time, he makes it clear that her affection is entirely one-sided and that he has never encouraged her.

Tejas asks Kanika to leave before her presence creates even more trouble for him. Although she would prefer to stay with him, she eventually agrees to go when he insists. Even as she prepares to leave, Kanika continues teasing Renu, provoking yet another round of arguments.

Her unexpected visit turns what the family believed was a supernatural crisis into a very real personal complication for Tejas.

Renu Questions Tejas About Kanika

After Kanika leaves, Tejas’s family demands an explanation for the strange incident. Renu is particularly upset, as the family already has enough problems to deal with without Kanika adding to their troubles.

She urges Tejas to consider leaving his job if that is what it takes to prevent further complications. Renu does not want Kanika’s feelings to create more difficulties for the family.

Tejas, on the other hand, refuses to accept the blame. He maintains that he has done nothing wrong and has never encouraged Kanika’s attachment to him. Frustrated that his family seems unwilling to believe his side of the story, he insists that he is being unfairly blamed for something beyond his control.

The incident leaves Tejas in an uncomfortable position. Even though he claims that Kanika’s feelings are one-sided, her behaviour has now brought his professional life directly into his family’s personal troubles.

Laksh Refuses Breakfast and Demands Roshu

The episode then shifts to breakfast time, where Riya and the others encourage the children to eat properly. The children enjoy the upma and praise it, comparing its taste to restaurant food.

Laksh, though, refuses to eat. When Riya offers to prepare poha or fresh fruit juice for him, he becomes upset and insists that he wants only his Roshu.

Laksh reminds the adults that they promised Roshu would return, yet she has still not appeared. His disappointment deepens because they have also refused to let him speak to her over the phone. For Laksh, the issue is no longer about what is being served for breakfast. He misses Roshu and wants the adults to keep the promise they made to him.

The family tries to calm him down and persuade him to eat, but Laksh remains adamant that he wants to meet Roshu. His longing and frustration eventually spill over into his behaviour at the table.

When Laksh misbehaves with his food, Riya firmly tells him that such behaviour is unacceptable and orders him to clean up the mess. Although the adults want him to eat properly, Laksh’s reaction makes it clear that his emotional distress cannot be resolved simply by offering him different food.

His insistence on seeing Roshu leaves the family facing another difficult situation, as they must deal with his feelings while trying to maintain discipline.

Review: Kanika Adds Chaos, but Laksh’s Pain Steals the Spotlight

Kanika’s dramatic entry gives the episode a dose of comedy and confrontation, especially when Tejas’s family mistakes the situation for a supernatural problem. Renu and Kanika’s verbal clash adds to the chaos, while Tejas’s desperate attempts to explain himself leave him trapped between his family and his boss’s daughter.

Still, the more emotional part of the episode belongs to Laksh. His refusal to eat is not simply childish stubbornness; he is hurt by Roshu’s absence and by the broken promise that she would return. Riya’s firm response is understandable, but the family also needs to recognise the feelings driving his behaviour.

The episode balances an exaggerated family drama with a more heartfelt child-centred conflict. Kanika’s arrival promises further complications for Tejas, while Laksh’s longing for Roshu leaves viewers wondering how long the family can keep him waiting.
