Yaadein 20th October 2026 Written Update: Sristi Leaves for Mumbai as Dev Fights to Save Mistri and Her Baby

Sristi Decides to Leave Kallari

The episode begins with Sristi recalling her precious moments with Dev throughout the night. The memories leave her reflecting on their relationship, but by the next morning, she makes a firm decision.

When Dev arrives at her door with a rose, Sristi tells him that she is returning to Mumbai with Jiya and Dhruv. She comes out with her luggage, ready to leave Kallari behind.

Jiya asks where they are going, and Sristi explains that they should return to Mumbai, where they can find the answers they are looking for. She gets into the car, leaving Dhruv disappointed.

Dhruv tells Jiya that their plan to reunite their parents has failed. Dev refuses to lose hope, reminding them that there is still a chance until the very end. Encouraged by his words, Jiya and Dhruv agree to keep hoping and leave with Sristi.

Uditanshu Tricks Masaan Baba

Elsewhere, Masaan Baba and Johala Chap are terrified when they see what appears to be a white ghost standing near them. Johala Chap immediately runs away in fear, while Masaan Baba insists that ghosts do not exist.

The mysterious figure soon removes the cloth covering himself, revealing Uditanshu. He asks Masaan Baba whether this is what Dev wanted to convey. Trying to cover up the situation, Masaan Baba claims that ghosts do not walk on their feet.

Uditanshu then reveals that he has a problem involving his wife and has come to seek Masaan Baba’s help. Masaan Baba gives him some powder and assures him that his problem will be resolved.

Mallar Wonders Why Jiya Left

Mallar comes across the doll and assumes that Jiya is inside it. Admitting that he has made a mistake, he promises to correct it.

At the same time, Jiya leaves Kallari with Sristi. Dev performs aarti for Devi Maa, but the villagers notice that he looks deeply sad.

Mallar arrives at the pooja and asks Srija about Jiya. Srija tells him that she has not seen her, leaving Mallar to wonder whether Jiya has left Kallari because of him.

Mistri Faces a Dangerous Delivery

During the aarti, a pregnant woman suddenly experiences labour pains. The village women gather around her, hoping to help with the delivery.

Dev observes Mistri’s condition and becomes concerned about the way she is holding her belly. He suggests taking her to the Arogya Kendra, believing that her condition may be more serious than the villagers realise.

The villagers dismiss his concerns, insisting that Meena Tai has conducted more than 59 deliveries and is capable of handling her daughter-in-law’s delivery.

Dev offers to help, but the villagers refuse to let him intervene. Meena Tai examines Mistri and soon realises that the baby is in a breech position, making the delivery particularly difficult.

Uditanshu’s wife informs Dev that Mistri’s condition is critical because the baby’s feet are coming out first. She also reveals that Meena Tai has never handled such a delivery before.

Dev insists that Mistri needs professional medical attention. When Meena Tai asks whether Sristi is available to help, Dev reveals that she has already left for Mumbai.

Dev Tries to Contact Sristi

With Mistri’s condition worsening, Uditanshu requests Dev to call Sristi for help. Dev immediately tries contacting her, but her phone is unreachable.

At the same time, Sristi and Jiya discover that their phones are not receiving any network signals as they travel. Their inability to connect with anyone leaves Dev without the medical support he desperately needs.

Dev and Uditanshu plead with the villagers to let them treat Mistri, explaining that they are doctors and can handle the emergency. The villagers refuse, arguing that allowing them to conduct the delivery would violate their rules.

Dev warns them that both Mistri and her baby could die without proper medical treatment. His urgency grows as Mistri’s condition deteriorates, but the villagers remain caught between their traditions and the need to save her life.

Finally, Meena Tai gives Dev permission to treat her daughter-in-law. Just when it seems that Mistri might receive the help she needs, Masaan Baba arrives and stops Dev from proceeding.

Masaan Baba warns Dev against breaking their rules, putting Mistri and her unborn baby in even greater danger.

Precap

Masaan Baba attempts to stop Dev from performing the delivery. Dev, though, comes up with a clever trick to save Mistri and her baby.

Will Dev succeed in overcoming Masaan Baba’s opposition and saving both lives?

Review

The episode effectively raises the stakes by placing Dev in a medical emergency where tradition threatens to overpower common sense. His determination to save Mistri and her baby makes him the strongest part of the narrative, especially when the villagers refuse to trust his professional judgment.

Sristi’s departure adds an emotional layer, while the failed phone connection conveniently leaves Dev without the person he hopes will help him. The tension surrounding Masaan Baba’s interference also sets up an engaging confrontation.

The real test now is whether Dev can outsmart Masaan Baba without wasting precious time. When a mother and baby are in danger, stubborn rules are the last thing anyone needs.
