Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 26th October 2026 Written Update: Myra and Kabir Secretly Care for Each Other
The 26th October 2026 episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai highlights Myra and Kabir’s growing restlessness as they continue to hide their feelings. While the Poddars attend Tanya and Samar’s wedding, Myra and Kabir struggle to maintain their distance. Their silent gestures reveal that their connection is far from over.
Poddars Bring the Auspicious Items for Tanya
The episode begins with Bhairvi asking Tanya to bring the auspicious items required for the wedding rituals. Tanya admits that she forgot to bring them from home while coordinating the arrangements. Bhairvi is shocked by her carelessness, but the Poddars step in and bring the necessary items on Tanya’s behalf.
Tanya is surprised to see them and asks how they agreed to attend her wedding.
The Poddars question Abhira and Armaan about their decision to attend the ceremony. Abhira explains that Anshuman and Tanya have helped her at every step, and she cannot betray them when they need her support.
Vidya asks Abhira and Armaan to consider Myra’s feelings before making their decision. Myra, though, urges everyone to think about Tanya instead. She refuses to attend the function herself, leaving Abhira determined to stand by Tanya.
Abhira reiterates that Anshuman has always supported her, and she now wants to return that kindness by supporting Tanya.
When Tanya learns the truth, she realises that Anshuman is the reason the Poddars have come together for her wedding. She remarks that Anshuman is everyone’s favourite. Armaan consoles Tanya as she processes the emotional moment.
Abhira later tells Bhairvi that it cannot be easy for both families to face each other under the circumstances. Bhairvi ignores her concerns and asks Tanya and Samar to proceed with the veneration ritual.
Kabir makes his exit, but Abhira and Armaan spot him and grow tense.
Myra and Kabir Receive a Flower That Symbolises Their Bond
Myra and Kabir unexpectedly cross paths. A young girl approaches Kabir and asks him to buy flowers for his girlfriend. Kabir replies that he does not have a girlfriend.
The girl then asks him about Myra, making the encounter more awkward. Kabir asks the girl to take the flower and gives her the money.
The girl approaches Myra and hands her the flower. She tells Myra that she and Kabir are not strangers to each other, adding that flowers can help mend broken relationships.
The unexpected gesture leaves Myra and Kabir unsettled. Both walk away, but neither seems able to put the encounter out of their mind.
Later, Abhira notices the flower and asks Myra about it. She becomes suspicious when Myra offers an excuse instead of explaining what happened.
Kabir also makes an excuse when he gets home. Despite trying to act normal, both continue thinking about each other and grow restless.
Kabir is especially troubled by Myra’s future. He worries about how to help her secure admission to a good college. He knows that Myra missed her entrance examination because of him, and the thought weighs on him.
Krish Blames Abhira and Armaan for His Demotion
The Poddars gather to watch a movie together. During the family time, Abhira decides to call Myra, but Myra falls asleep before she can reach her.
The next day, Krish brings his office chair home and confronts Abhira and Armaan. He blames them for his demotion at the office, making his resentment clear.
Abhira and Armaan become irritated by his behaviour. Armaan asks Sanjay to make Krish understand the situation, pointing out that nobody would appreciate being lectured by someone who is supposed to be teaching them.
Krish’s anger adds another source of tension to the family, but Myra’s future soon becomes the more pressing concern for Abhira and Armaan.
Kabir Secretly Helps Myra Find a College
Myra comes across information about a college that Kabir has indirectly suggested. She finds the institution appealing and feels excited because it seems to match her expectations.
Abhira notices Myra’s enthusiasm and asks what has made her so happy. Myra eagerly talks about the college, but she soon realises that Kabir is the one who sent her the brochure.
Kabir, on the other hand, hopes Myra will not discover his involvement. He fears that if she learns he sent the information, she may reject the college simply because it came from him.
As he continues thinking about Myra, Kabir sneezes and buys more ice cream. His actions suggest that he is not entirely focused on his own well-being while worrying about her.
Abhira and Armaan notice that Myra is still not genuinely happy, despite her excitement about the college. They sense that something continues to trouble her.
The episode ends with Myra and Kabir still trying to hide their feelings, even as their concern for each other keeps bringing them emotionally closer.
Precap
Myra and Kabir cross paths again and sneeze. Myra indirectly offers Kabir a nebulizer, while Kabir gives her medicine. They silently take care of each other without openly acknowledging their concern.
Armaan and Abhira feel happy, believing that Myra is finally returning to her usual self. Abhira remarks that Myra has been acting sober and mature for the past few days, but she is finally back to being herself.
Review
Myra and Kabir remain the emotional centre of the episode, and the flower scene adds a gentle reminder that their relationship is not as broken as they want everyone to believe. Their excuses and restless thoughts show how difficult it is for them to move on, even when they try to maintain their distance.
Kabir’s effort to help Myra find a good college is particularly meaningful. He wants her to have a future she deserves, even if she never learns that he helped her. Still, his fear that she will reject the college because of him highlights how much remains unresolved between them.
Tanya’s wedding provides the family drama, while Krish’s confrontation adds a familiar dose of conflict. The precap is the real highlight, though: Myra and Kabir caring for each other through small gestures is more touching than another dramatic confession. Their feelings are still very much alive, and the question is how long they can keep pretending otherwise.
