Mannat 29th October 2026 Written Update: Sarika Insults the Poor as Mannat Vows to Confront Kabir
Mannat 29th October 2026 Written Update
The episode begins with Mannat Khanna demanding that Vikrant speak to Oberoi and stop the demolition project. She makes it clear that she will cancel their deal if he fails to resolve the matter. Vikrant assures her that he will handle the situation and immediately makes a video call to Oberoi.
To his surprise, Sarika Oberoi answers the call while getting her hair styled. She explains that Kabir is busy, so she has decided to take the call on his behalf. When Vikrant says that he needs to discuss an important matter with Kabir, Sarika points out that the call was not scheduled. She asks Vikrant to explain the issue to her instead, promising to pass the message along.
Vikrant explains that he established Mezbani to fulfil his dream. The restaurant is located in the heart of the city, surrounded by several other restaurants and small dhabas. He points out that these businesses have operated alongside Mezbani without causing any problems. He questions Sarika’s decision to demolish the neighbouring establishments and asks why she suddenly wants them removed.
Sarika Looks Down on Small Business Owners
Sarika is surprised that Vikrant has not considered the matter from her perspective. She argues that allowing small vendors and roadside restaurants to operate around a luxurious establishment like Mezbani will damage its reputation. She considers their businesses cheap and embarrassing, insisting that they have no place near her restaurant.
Sarika openly admits that she ordered the demolition because she dislikes the presence of these establishments. She claims that the vendors have been offered substantial compensation to relocate, so their earnings should not suffer. She further argues that once Mezbani becomes highly profitable, its success will affect the local vendors’ daily lives anyway. According to her, removing them now is actually for their own good.
Mannat Khanna loses her temper after hearing Sarika’s condescending remarks. She cannot accept the way Sarika treats ordinary people as though they have no right to make decisions about their own livelihoods.
Sarika remains unwilling to understand Mannat’s point of view. Noticing that Sarika’s staff members are curling her hair, Mannat cleverly suggests trying a different hairstyle.
Sarika snaps back that it is her hair and she will style it however she wants. She does not need Mannat’s suggestions or interference.
Mannat uses Sarika’s response to make her argument. She explains that just as Sarika wants the freedom to decide how her hair should look, the small business owners should have the freedom to decide whether they want to continue operating at their current locations or relocate. Sarika has no right to make that decision for them simply because she dislikes their presence.
Sarika is displeased by Mannat’s sharp response, but Mannat refuses to back down.
Vikrant then firmly tells Sarika that he does not want anyone demolishing the hard work of other people. He makes his position clear and says that Kabir can contact him if they reconsider their decision. If they remain unwilling to change their plans, the deal is cancelled. Vikrant ends the call, leaving Sarika irritated by Mannat’s intervention.
Jolly Continues to Blame Mannat for Virat’s Death
Elsewhere, Surendra tries to comfort his wife, Jolly, who remains deeply troubled by the family’s circumstances. He questions why she continues blaming Mannat and insists that daughters should never be treated as outsiders.
Jolly refuses to agree. She believes that daughters lose their rights in their parental homes after marriage and insists that only sons can carry forward the family legacy. Mannat overhears this painful conversation and becomes emotional.
Mannat approaches her mother with her medicine, hoping to look after her despite the hurtful words. At the same time, Surendra reassures Jolly that Mannat has helped resolve their problems and will never allow anyone to harm their family.
Jolly remains unmoved. She continues to regard Mannat as an outsider and blames her for the death of her son, Virat. Surendra scolds her for repeatedly accusing Mannat, but Jolly is unable to contain her grief.
With tears in her eyes, Jolly claims that Virat would not have died if Mannat had held his hand more tightly. Her words leave Mannat heartbroken as she listens to her mother hold her responsible for the tragedy.
Surendra tries to console Jolly, but Mannat chooses not to prolong the painful moment. She asks her mother to take her medicine on time and quietly leaves.
Mannat Remembers Virat and Vows to Fight for Justice
Mannat is overwhelmed by memories of Virat and the moments they shared before his fatal accident. The grief of losing him remains fresh, made even harder by her mother’s repeated accusations.
Reet comes to comfort her sister. Although she is hurting herself, Reet hides her own pain to support Mannat. She expresses her frustration over the way their mother seems to value sons more than daughters.
Mannat defends Jolly, explaining that their mother is struggling with Virat’s absence and is taking out her grief on those around her. She urges Reet not to take Jolly’s words too seriously.
Reet, though, raises a painful question. The people responsible for taking Virat away from them are still living freely, while the family continues to suffer. Their grief has not brought them justice, and their lives remain overshadowed by the loss.
Mannat agrees that wealthy people have used their money and influence to escape accountability. She is determined not to let their power silence her family any longer.
Her anger turns into a firm resolve to confront Kabir. Mannat wants to challenge the powerful people who believe they can destroy ordinary families’ livelihoods and escape the consequences. She is ready to stand up to Kabir and fight for what is right.
Kabir’s Cruel Treatment of His Employee
Meanwhile, Kabir is busy talking on the phone when one of his staff members collapses under the weight of a heavy load. An air hostess and a pilot witness the incident and criticise Kabir for making his employee carry such a massive burden.
They question how he can treat a member of his staff so cruelly. Instead of showing concern, Kabir reacts angrily. He forces the exhausted employee into a wheelchair, piles the luggage onto his lap and shoves the wheelchair away.
Kabir’s behaviour reveals his lack of consideration for the people working under him. His actions also create a sharp contrast with Mannat, who is fighting to protect the dignity and livelihoods of ordinary people.
Later, Kabir apologises to Sarika for missing her call. Sarika informs him that Vikrant has cancelled the deal. The cancellation puts their plans in jeopardy and leaves Kabir with a serious issue to address.
Mannat Takes Care of Her Mother
Back at home, Mannat notices that Jolly is still upset. Despite the accusations and emotional pain she has endured, Mannat continues to care for her mother.
She asks Surendra to persuade Jolly to eat something. When Jolly remains reluctant, Mannat comes up with a way to make her eat breakfast. She cleverly manages to get food into her mother, showing that her love and concern remain intact even when Jolly repeatedly hurts her.
Mannat’s actions highlight the emotional complexity of their relationship. She wants to protect her family and secure justice for Virat, yet she continues to care for the mother who blames her for his death.
The episode ends with Mannat preparing to confront Kabir, while the cancellation of the Mezbani deal threatens to intensify the conflict between their sides.
Precap
Kabir meets Mannat, and the two get into a heated argument. Kabir challenges her to demolish her dhaba, and Mannat challenges him in return. Furious, Kabir pushes a cart, causing Mannat to lose her balance and fall against his arm.
Review
The episode gives Mannat two battles to fight: one against Sarika’s classist attitude and another against the emotional wounds within her own family. Mannat’s hairstyle analogy is a clever moment because she uses Sarika’s own words to expose the hypocrisy behind her decision. Vikrant’s firm cancellation of the deal also gives the conflict a meaningful turning point.
The more painful track is Jolly’s treatment of Mannat. Her grief over Virat is understandable, but repeatedly blaming Mannat only deepens the family’s suffering. Mannat’s decision to defend her mother while privately carrying her own pain makes her struggle more compelling. Kabir’s cruel treatment of his employee establishes another troubling side of his character, setting up a clash between him and Mannat that promises plenty of sparks.
